    I too got into Separatists thanks to a love of Maul. This maul hits like a truck, but will melt to sustained fire. If you overspend your force and dont get shot maul suffers, but that does also mean they arent shooting your most expensive ship

    PerCo because you want to save the Force to keep doing double taps every turn - PerCo gives full focus mods on both shots while still allowing you to keep up your Force pool for subsequent turns.
    I guess I didn't finish the last thought lol...but I can't remember what it would have been so...

    PerCo?  Perceptive Copilot?  Why?  Why would I do focus actions when I have force tokens?  I figure most of his actions will be target locks, cloaks, and jams - is that wrong?
    And yes, most of the rest of it is fluff - I want to try out the new toys. 
     
    ...also I'm pretty sure you didn't finish that last thought.  Or was it meant to be a cliff hanger?  😏

    Imo, Maul needs PerCo for the double tap. Hate is great, but not MANDATORY. Everything else seems like fluff. Aside from that, you can do basically whatever you want with Vultures except

    Its a pretty good list. I know this is your first separatist try, so like all of us, you plop Maul on the table asap. Think about Dooku over Maul though. He is tougher to kill thanks to his ability able to cloak/decloak, and works better with scimitar. Maul can forgo scimitar and you would get much better use out of grevious crew for Maul.
    You will also find that the cheaper droids just work better, allowing points for your Sith to get Palpatine crew or Dooku crew, etc.
    My brother ran a Dooku with probe, scim,kraken,hate,palpatine,grevious along with 4 trade drones with energy shells. Was tough.

    Sounds good! Discord missiles are fun as **** when you launch them right into the middle of a tie swarm. 
    Regarding barrel rolling, using it to link a calculate can be huge, just try your best to plan well for the round after. Ideally you set up to 2 turn and have arcs to stay calculated. 
    You're right that because the scimitar text doesn't say "action", it doesn't get a stress in the place forces step. "cloaking" is simply assigning a cloak token.

    This list isn't bad, and worth trying. You might find it hard to get much value from the bullseye, but if you can, rerolls are great for the droids. 
    Scimitar isn't amazing on Maul (better fit for dooku since he has better options to cloak), but if you want probe droids, the jam action you get is nice. 
    I believe in trying and experiencing yourself what works and what doesn't, but if you want a more optimized list, this is what I've landed on after 15+ CIS games:
    Maul +5

    (2) Tractor Beam
    Points: 80

    Tractor beam is mainly just a points filler, but can work nicely in specific situations due to the double tap. You can also get one discord missile for the 2 point difference instead (it's awesome vs other swarms, but esc is generally strictly better), or 2 munition failsafes. In general you want Grievous on Maul, but with this list you want both kraken and hate more in my opinion. A mini swarm is just so much more powerful when it can have a minimum of 3 calcs regardless of whether they do red moves or bump. Something like Dooku crew and Grievous and no kraken is definitely playable though. 
    Droids want numbers, so fitting in as many as possible should be a priority. 
    The way this list works is that your opponent should be punished by whatever decision he makes when choosing targets. A roaming double tapping maul is pretty annoying, but a 5 ship swarm is also very dangerous. Have maul hop around to get as many arcs as possible while staying range 3 for kraken. 
    The correct move for your opponent is often to leave maul and focus on the swarm first, that way he can only double tap every 3 or so rounds because of force depletion. Maul gets better when he's getting shot at for the same reason, so it's a half decent end game ship, but he'll melt really quickly when focused.

    I can't believe I still have to ask for this, but I do.  I want K2SO in the game as a crew, or as a pilot, or both.  I was shocked when he wasn't in the Saw's Renegades upgrade in any fashion, that was their big chance to get him in the game.  He was the best thing about Rogue One imo, and he definitely was a capable pilot and copilot.  How is he not represented?!
    I'd also like to see Tycho back as well.  And as others have said, an A Wing Ace or two.  And maybe a few more droids.

    So you saying that said company should ship a ship or ship ships this season seeing shipping from seas to states is done, ship ships like Santa FFG, cause ship shipping should soon happen sometime soon like starting Saturdays.

    I flew this exact same list again tonight in a 3 round mini-tourney, and actually played by the rules this time
    I went 2-1.  All 3 results were VERY convincing.  I did really well in the wins and EVERYTHING went wrong in the loss.   So the list has potential with a little practice, and I need to get better at the game in general anyway. 
    The Shara/Saw combo is vicious.  I'm still up in the air about the HLCs...I only get a few chances to use them each game, but I think that will improve as I learn to fly better.  I'm going to keep flying this one a while longer before moving on, and I very much appreciate all the helpful commentary.

    OK I flew this list 3 times this weekend.  1 fairly convincing win and 2 close losses.  I need to practice with it to get better, because at least one of the losses was for sure my fault because I used the Advanced Sensors to chain into a red move (focus/barrel roll), and then remembered that I had put in a red maneuver with one of the Bs.  OOPSIE.  I also forgot about Shara's ability at least once that was really important. 
    I'll keep playing and tweaking, but the Sensors are definitely very strong on them.  Probably won't miss the Predators much either, but when I get better with the list, I might get more bulls-eyes too, so if that happens then as suggested, I'll back up to a hull upgrade on the Bs to free up the points to put it back on Ten.

    I would also track how many times per game you would have had Predator trigger on Shara, if it's 3+ then bring it back and go down to hull upgrades on her wing mates.

    * (if you try to force it to be what you want it to be instead of what it actually is. if you don't do this, the A-wing is amazing and flying one is All the Fun.)

    Maybe I'm being hopelessly optimistic (and that really would be a first), but I think these overreactive posts need to stop. We've barely had 2.0 for five minutes and already I've seen complaints that **** near everything is overpowered or underpowered, clamouring for major buffs or nerfs with barely any supporting evidence, based usually on a handful of anecdotes alone.
    It is extremely premature to declare any ship 'DoA' or 'dead for the whole edition', especially given that a)new upgrades that previous ships can use will be coming all the time (look at the Gunner slot for example - currently fairly useless unless you have a turret), b)new pilots for ships will be coming with their individual expansions (so Tycho may well be returning, in the A-Wings' case), and c)points and slots can be adjusted if the need is determined to be great enough, to prevent any ship from being worthless forever once enough significant evidence to support that decision exists.
    Until then, can we all stop asking for sweeping changes to ships based solely on limited personal experiences and knee-jerk reactions?

    Plus the X-Wing has two I5 and an I6 pilot. And it’s also the better support ship too.
    the only thing remaining is the I1 blocker. But that’s just a shame for this ship.
    Kinda difficult for me to say let them die. What’s your favorite ship? What if we let that die?

    With his ability I don't think Braylen needs Predator, and I'm not sure the tractor beams will be consistently useful, I'd generally rather just do damage except for a few rare occasions. That should save you the points for AS on Ten, with Braylen having no way to clear it during the Engagement phase I much prefer it on Ten. Enjoy!
