I’ve come across very few Rey lists without Finn. Consistently adding an extra hit or evade is super valuable. 10 points doesn’t seem like a big ask to me for that damage output/reduced damage. But it’s something I’ll pay attention to as I try this out.

Not a bad idea, actually. Two 2-die ships having potential to have three die is pretty interesting. (Not sure why it posted as 193, in the app it’s 198). Edit: also, R4 on the transport fits in at 200 and is nice to have with all the red moves/actions Resistance Transport - •Cova Nell - 57 •Cova Nell - Evacuation Escort (38) •Leia Organa (19) RZ-2 A-wing - •L’ulo L’ampar - 42 •L’ulo L’ampar - Luminous Mentor (43) Daredevil (3) Heroic (1) Scavenged YT-1300 Light Freighter - •Rey - 94 •Rey - Resourceful Scavenger (73) •Korr Sella (6) •Rey’s Millennium Falcon (5) •Finn (10) Total: 193/200 View in the X-Wing Squad Builder

The resistance transport has a red coordinate action. Leia crew adds a purple coordinate to your action bar. Does that mean I get to choose, when I coordinate, if I want to take a stress for it or spend a Force?

Got my convert kit, a-wing, and transport on the way. No idea what I’m doing. How’s this look? Scavenged YT-1300 Light Freighter - •Rey - 94 •Rey - Resourceful Scavenger (73) •Korr Sella (6) •Rey’s Millennium Falcon (5) •Finn (10) RZ-2 A-wing - •L’ulo L’ampar - 48 •L’ulo L’ampar - Luminous Mentor (43) Daredevil (3) Predator (2) Resistance Transport - •Nodin Chavdri - 55 •Nodin Chavdri - Insubordinate Insurgent (36) •Leia Organa (19) Total: 197/200 View in the X-Wing Squad Builder

This won a System Open earlier this year. I haven’t had as much success as the tournament winner because it takes considerable skill/anticipation to get right. You may not consider Vynder an “Ace” at i4, but because of his ability I consider him one. Vynder, Vader, Jendon (41) Major Vynder [Alpha-class Star Wing] (0) Os-1 Arsenal Loadout (3) Advanced SLAM (2) Fire-Control System (6) Adv. Proton Torpedoes (13) Proton Torpedoes Points: 65 (46) Colonel Jendon [Lambda-class T-4a Shuttle] (11) Emperor Palpatine Points: 57 (67) Darth Vader [TIE Advanced x1] (6) Afterburners (2) Fire-Control System Points: 75 Total points: 197

Excited to give this a go: New Squadron (44) Naboo Handmaiden [Naboo Royal N-1 Starfighter] Points: 44 (44) Naboo Handmaiden [Naboo Royal N-1 Starfighter] Points: 44 (42) 104th Battalion Pilot [ARC-170 Starfighter] (14) Chancellor Palpatine Points: 56 (42) Ric Olié [Naboo Royal N-1 Starfighter] (6) R2-A6 (7) Juke Points: 55 Total points: 199

I think it's a mixture, rather than one or the other. We've seen some combination of ships/upgrades/lists that should be unplayable for the greater good of the competitive scene and overall experience of the game. On the other side, they're paying pretty close attention to how ships/upgrades are being used and each wave of content gives them a better understanding of what each ship/upgrade should cost. I don't think we'll reach a place where everyone is happy, but I honestly think they're trying their best to deliver a great playing experience.
-
Yeah, and I'm not sure the payoff is there to learn how to make it work. So I'll just move over to Maarek, who is pretty great for the cost. I expect to come across some CIS swarms, so adding on some crits should work nicely.

I got in a game with this yesterday: Empire Squad (76) Rear Admiral Chiraneau [VT-49 Decimator] (11) Emperor Palpatine (7) Minister Tua Points: 94 (47) Captain Feroph [TIE Reaper] (3) Intimidation Points: 50 (48) Sigma Squadron Ace [TIE/ph Phantom] (7) Juke Points: 55 Total points: 199 I took down a Ketsu/Guri list, but I’m just not happy with the Reaper’s production. Maybe I’m just not good at the blocking game, but Alierons is tough, and my opponent used those big maneuvers with Ketsu, so blocking just wasn’t a thing. Next time, I may just abandon the blocking/intimidation strategy and just go for damage: Empire Squad (76) Rear Admiral Chiraneau [VT-49 Decimator] (11) Emperor Palpatine (7) Minister Tua Points: 94 (48) Sigma Squadron Ace [TIE/ph Phantom] (7) Juke Points: 55 (46) Maarek Stele [TIE Advanced x1] (2) Fire-Control System (1) Marksmanship Points: 49 Total points: 198

Cody is a complicated upgrade to judge. He only activated once, which means you landed a hit with Wollfe every time he shot but once. That's great! (unless you rolled a bunch of blanks) It could also mean you may not have been shooting enough with Wolffe. But that's circumstantial. If you looking for other ways to use those 3 points, though. Elusive isn't the worst thing on him, though not as much red on the dial as you'd typically want for Elusive. All-in-all, congrats on the 4-1 finish! That's solid. I'm taking my 3 Arcs + Mace to a tourney in a few weeks and hoping for the same results 😁

I’ve been rethinking this list a bit and wonder if I need a better puncher than Vynder. He’s good, but does require a lock to do damage. In the same list below, I can fit: Soontir Fel with Predator (55) Sigmna Phantom with Juke (55) Maarek Stele with FCS and Afterburners (54) Grand Inquisitor with FCS (54) I’m thinking Fel is the best value for the points but the Sigma could be fun as well. Also using a RAC/Fel list gives me the 1.0 feels.

Not 100% sold on all this just yet, but I’ve been messing with this. I’ve never seen anyone use Feedback Array, but a 2 die ship isn’t going to do a whole lot of damage. So I’m thinking boost into bump range, get an evade, and cause auto-damage. Bro Bots (68) IG-88A [Aggressor Assault Fighter] (0) Jamming Beam (1) IG-2000 (1) Crack Shot Points: 70 (65) IG-88C [Aggressor Assault Fighter] (1) IG-2000 (0) Jamming Beam (1) Crack Shot Points: 67 (47) L3-37 [Customized YT-1300 Light Freighter] (3) IG-88D (7) Engine Upgrade (4) Feedback Array Points: 61 Total points: 198

Not sure how this’ll work out but I’ve been meaning to try it after the points change: Empire Squad (76) Rear Admiral Chiraneau [VT-49 Decimator] (9) Seventh Sister (7) Minister Tua (3) Intimidation Points: 95 (41) Major Vynder [Alpha-class Star Wing] (0) Os-1 Arsenal Loadout (3) Advanced SLAM (2) Fire-Control System (9) Plasma Torpedoes Points: 55 (47) Captain Feroph [TIE Reaper] (3) Intimidation Points: 50 Total points: 200

I’ve been layering my attack with them. I’ll send the two 104ths up front and then follow in with Wollfe and Mace. Seems to work fine because the 104ths can break out keeping their rear arcs working while mace and Wollfe work from front arcs. Sets up a really nice kill box if you do it right. I’m also not afraid to run over obstacles if it leads to better positioning. And 100% take gas clouds with this list.

Possibly, yeah, and might be fun to have Ketsu crew along for the ride: Lando, 4-LOM, Asajj (49) Lando Calrissian [Customized YT-1300 Light Freighter] (6) Lando's Millennium Falcon Points: 55 (49) 4-LOM [G-1A Starfighter] (2) Mist Hunter (0) Jamming Beam (10) Advanced Sensors Points: 61 (74) Asajj Ventress [Lancer-class Pursuit Craft] (3) Shadow Caster (5) Ketsu Onyo Points: 82 Total points: 198

Sounds like a great variant mode.

Wollfe either hits, which is good, or adds that strain token, which is also good for the others who shoot after him. Solid list that consistently throws dice. I’m curious how it does without a bid now though.

This is one I’ve always enjoyed since 2.0 came out. Though with Hate’s increase I’d likely want 0-0-0 on Lando over it and just run Asajj with no upgrades. Lando, 4-LOM, Asajj (49) Lando Calrissian [Customized YT-1300 Light Freighter] (6) Lando's Millennium Falcon Points: 55 (49) 4-LOM [G-1A Starfighter] (2) Mist Hunter (0) Jamming Beam (10) Advanced Sensors Points: 61 (74) Asajj Ventress [Lancer-class Pursuit Craft] (9) Hate Points: 83 Total points: 199

And this is an alternative that allows all three ships to use B’s ability (no Ketsu though so that’s a downer). Bro Bots2 (64) IG-88B [Aggressor Assault Fighter] (2) Tractor Beam (0) Jamming Beam (1) IG-2000 Points: 67 (65) IG-88C [Aggressor Assault Fighter] (1) IG-2000 (2) Tractor Beam (0) Jamming Beam Points: 68 (49) 4-LOM [G-1A Starfighter] (2) Mist Hunter (3) IG-88D (10) Advanced Sensors (0) Jamming Beam Points: 64 Total points: 199

This has been my go-to for a while. Won a local tourney with it and it’s survived the points adjustment. Triple Arc (50) "Wolffe" [ARC-170 Starfighter] (3) Clone Commander Cody Points: 53 (42) 104th Battalion Pilot [ARC-170 Starfighter] Points: 42 (42) 104th Battalion Pilot [ARC-170 Starfighter] Points: 42 (45) Mace Windu [Delta-7 Aethersprite] (18) Delta-7B Points: 63 Total points: 200

I’m thinking of giving the Brobots a go. Bro Bots (64) IG-88B [Aggressor Assault Fighter] (2) Tractor Beam (1) IG-2000 Points: 67 (65) IG-88C [Aggressor Assault Fighter] (1) IG-2000 (2) Tractor Beam Points: 68 (47) L3-37 [Customized YT-1300 Light Freighter] (3) IG-88D (5) Ketsu Onyo (7) Engine Upgrade Points: 62 Total points: 197

Not a mini-swarm list but still Decimator-related: Idea is for Chiraneau and Feroph to bump to trigger Intimidation to make the Plasmas go through easier. Alerions should help trigger that. Empire Squad (76) Rear Admiral Chiraneau [VT-49 Decimator] (9) Seventh Sister (7) Minister Tua (3) Intimidation Points: 95 (41) Major Vynder [Alpha-class Star Wing] (0) Os-1 Arsenal Loadout (3) Advanced SLAM (2) Fire-Control System (9) Plasma Torpedoes Points: 55 (47) Captain Feroph [TIE Reaper] (3) Intimidation Points: 50 Total points: 200

It's a good thought and could certainly work out OK. Though there are some interesting things you can do by coordinating a boost+focus to Jake before he moves. Or coordinate a Barrel Roll, where he then does a red boost to give Cassian a focus and then clears the stress with a blue maneuver.

I got one game in with this yesterday, and ended up only using Dedicated a couple of times. To be fair, I could have used it in another instance or two, but the first two times I used it, the reroll turned out blank. So I ended up taking a strain for nothing. I think it's something that may require more than two ships with it to be super effective. It's a tough call to make after one game, but I'll probably go back to Mace/Wollfe and the two 104ths for the time being.

OG Rebel Beef with Jake subbed for Wedge still seems super good: New Rebel Beef (51) Braylen Stramm [A/SF-01 B-wing] Points: 51 (48) Ten Numb [A/SF-01 B-wing] Points: 48 (36) Jake Farrell [RZ-1 A-wing] (2) Predator Points: 38 (51) Cassian Andor [UT-60D U-wing] (6) Leia Organa (6) Tactical Officer Points: 63 Total points: 200
