Possibly some SF swarms paired with Tavson maybe. 1st engagement won’t kill them and they have the rear attack as well. Anything that has increased shooting opportunity is key since you’re likely to deal a damage per shot given the low agility

We don’t, but the lowest Rebel Arc-170 is 50, so it’s a fair assumption that the generics will be priced lower than this, unless the Arc is valued higher in relation to its role in the Republic faction.

Also Fanatical is an offensive modifier, and Malarus works on offense/defense. For 2 points, there’s little else you can put there to get value.

I'll try again now that I actually know what I'm doing. i3 E-Wing - When you defend or perform an attack, if you are not at range 1 of an enemy ship and you have exactly 1 stress token, you may remove one stress token and suffer one [hit]. If you do, you may change all your results to [hits] or [evades].

List #1 gets my vote. Spend time chewing through Lando or spend time getting through Luke/Biggs while Lando flies around.

Does this make Veterean Tail Gunner temping? Shoot in the front, spend the charge, shoot in the back, recover charge? Even though it’s still likely to happen maybe once or twice in a game.

Did they say if purple actions can be performed while stressed or if you can perform a purple action after going through an obstacle?

Sorry, I should have clarified -- it comes in at 169, but any FO I add gives me a really small or no bid, which is tough to swallow when you have a I6 ship and an I5 that wants to move after all the other I5 ships based on repositioning. But maybe I can get away with it. Or you know, become a better flyer without the initiative/bid crutch. 😅

Though my focus would be supporting Kylo, Muse also offers the ability to give QD an evade/TL for the first engagement, and then a focus/evade or evade/BR once she's shieldless. That greatly increases her survivability. But yeah, your advice makes sense. Yet a SupNat Kylo with Adv Optics and that loadout on QD puts me at 174 points with no real way to add a third ship. The only things I could really drop from either ship is Optics from Kylo or the shield upgrade on QD. If I do one other the other, I could squeeze Null as a third ship, or maybe a Zeta Squadron Survivor with FCS (but no gunner). I'm pretty attached to both of those upgrades so I'm not convinced it's better than my current or the proposed list with Muse.

I’m not as worried as much about damage output as I am action efficiency and supporting Kylo/QD so I think Muse fits better with what I’m trying to accomplish in this setup.

It has its advantages. Three agility, access to evade, and also potentially the third ship on the priority list. PA may be the better value, especially in combination of Muse’s ability to remove a stress from a friendly ship.

I think Norra is the better ship overall but most X-Wing pilots are pretty good. That being said, context is pretty important here. The choice between these two comes down to their specific role in your list and what gap they’re filling. -

I think this is a poor comparison. There are rules for bumping/overlapping. There are not rules yet for when a remote attaches to a ship. -

If the upgrade wasn't designed to "stick," why didn't they clarify that when the ship they attached to repositions/executes a maneuver, they stay put? I'm not assuming anything, one way or the other, until they provide clarity. -
I’m Ok with the 21st/22nd. There’s a Hyperspace trial next weekend and I’d rather not see the new factions burst into this event without having time to digest the new cards. Though I’m sure there are other big events scheduled right around the release as well.

I want to see more of their plans with Hyperspace. Will they just keep adding the new stuff to it? Are they going to switch around the legal ships for the original three factions? Switch out upgrades? I know not everyone is sold on the play format, and that’s ok, but personally I like the idea of limited options that can be updated periodically.

I'm genuinely not seeing the point you're trying to get across here. Do we have the data to prove that they're under-costed in Hyperspace? Two different point values for two different play variants would be confusing AF and I'm glad it's not designed that way. It sounds like you're frustrated that Hyperspace is a thing. It's not going away, so (if that's not the case, my apologies for the assumption). Personally, I enjoy the list-building challenge of Hyperspace. I have a feeling future versions of Hyperspace will swap out to different/more ships but it'll always have fewer options than Extended. It's an interesting approach to switch up the competitive nature of the game.

So yeah probably means 15th or 22nd launch date. Maybe we get points on the 13th with the gameplay.
