  1. I don't have any expectations for the announcement. If the game died after the next cycle I'd still be happy as I find most of the quests to have high replayability. Also there are plenty of player cards that I haven't had a chance to use yet. Nothing is stopping me from pairing online with real friends, I just find it less fun than hanging out in person. I have nothing against a digital version if it comes out - it's just not going to be for me.
  2. Eh, I hope it isn't a digital version. I definitely won't be investing the time and money into a digital version when I've already purchased everything physically. Also, playing with physical cards with real friends is much more appealing to me than pairing up with people I don't know online.
  3. Ohhh - I thought the paragraph in question was supposedly at the end of the Wilds of Rhovanion article. Thanks.
  4. Am I blind or did they edit the article before I had a chance to read it? I see no mention of this paragraph you copied. I hope theirs still another announcement tomorrow.
  5. Ah...yes The translation said 'once per part' and I wasn't thinking. Unless it actually is phase in order to bring him back with Fortune or Fate.
  6. According to google translate: The threat cost of <HERO NAME> is reduced by 1 for each Hobbit hero you control discard <HERO NAME> to decrease your threat level by 7 limit once per phase
  7. I believe so. We attempted The Tower of Cirith Ungol last night and starting with those Wraiths was brutal. We didn't even come close to completing the quest after a half dozen attempts or so.
  8. I would love to participate in one if anyone knows of one going on in Michigan. The store on the map posted in the OP for Grand Rapids, MI (GrandLAN) has been closed for a while now, so that is out of date.
  9. No to all of those. Once a character is played as an attachment, it's considered an attachment.
  10. I've had the most fun going through the saga deluxe expansions with one other player. It's been a great time, and I can't wait to just start it all over once it's done with different decks. I would definitely recommend the saga boxes. That's not to say the regular cycles and adventure pack scenarios aren't fun - I just like the experience that the saga delivers.
  11. Thanks for this thread, I like when someone compiles a spoiler list. It really helps before they get added to the DB sites.
  12. This is one of the best things they could have done for the launch of this game. I'm very happy to see this.
  13. This is one of the funniest topics I've seen because the complaint is so ridiculous and stupid. Pack your bags, boys! We can't afford to buy part of the first cycle on day 1, so we're not playing at all! I looked at my budget and $120+ on a card game was a-ok, but an expedited release of the first cycle is going to break the bank even though it's optional. Too bad, I was really looking forward to playing this game!
