Thanks, that was my interpretation as well -

How does Kraken interacts with Salvo? Can I use his(?) ability during a salvo attack and then (or before) again during the activation of the ship that salvo-ed? Because the text said "Once per activation". The enemy ship is during its activation, but when it is my ships turn it is already a different activation. Does my question make sense? -
Yeah, I got an extra belbullab... Also, in one of my CIS squad pack, all of the Squadron cardboard plates have the holes slightly to the side. (ie its not in exactly in the middle) Something I haven't experienced before. But other than that, I am very satisfied with my squad packs and CIS starter.

Kinda same with me! She is unbelievably flexible

Oh really? Then apologies, I think Im just a noob then

I prefer Vassal, because there are a few things that aren't present in tts. It feels like more complete and thoughtful for me. For example you can easily measure things in vassal because you can check the distance bands for everything, including obstacles and tokens. You cannot do that in tts. You can easily measure LoS, in tts you need to use the range ruler, which is not that easy in a virtual table. Yes vassal is harder to learn, but I think it is more rewarding. There are few things that is better in tts still, for example movement is a bit simpler and more intuitive. And the the virtual table really looks like an armada game, which is not true for vassal.

Thanks!

Hi! My question is simple: if I put Endeavor in Raddus' pocket, does it get to gain her contain?

Do you guys think MS-1 ion cannons will rise given the exhaustion mechanic became more apparent with the reworked cards? I kinda hope it will.
-
I'd prefer 11th, cuz that's the estimated delivery of CW here in Hungary at our retailer But I understand if you guys want to start earlier and will join in any case if I can!

I have to disagree. Raid tokens are highly annoying and they do achieve something. Namely, they disrupt the oppontent's plan. They can prevent command dials to be executed which can be very useful. Not devastating, but game changing under the right circumstances.
-
In, a bit dependent on the exact date/time
-
Maybe they rivised the "printed" part because the new evade functionality. They said Salvo was primarily devastating against small ships.

Republic ship article #2: Ready For Battle.

I love that configuration. Hope they indeed change EL -
Maybe a bit too white-ish. But otherwise looks awesome. I'm more concerned about the size of the munificent and the Hardcell compared to each other.

What weird thing do YOU want in armada 1.5?
sasska replied to phoenix7000's topic in Star Wars: Armada
Actually a well upgraded SSD is not to be underestimated. My friend usually runs it with h9+quad turbolaser cannons plus more offensive stuff. It kills small ships with that 2 guaranteed accuracy pretty fast. And it is a threat to other ships as well, like the mc80 Lib won't brace. That assault frigate won't be able to use all kind of nice Def tokens. Are you going to brace or redirect with your MC75? It is mean, I honestly hate it. Of course it is killable / cripple-able but not an easy work. -

If we are talking about a new are i'd opt for Old Republic and Sith Empire. Because it is a great and very different era imo compared to either GCW or CW. Point changes / some rework to several upgrade cards that are never/rarely used (Cluster bombs, redundant shields for example) Rework of flak to make it more realistic (what kind of non sense is the Squadron OR Ship target from the same hull zone?! i know, i know balance... but not really realistic imo... you won't fire your biggest guns at some stupid starfighters, except if you are Yamato from the movie Yamato) -
With Ackbar and the fish twins it is a pretty menacing combat ship. Add in slaved turrets and an Intel officer for more punch. 6 rerollable red dice is no joke. But agree without this it is not a very great pure combat ship.
-
Combine it with Dooku, so the commands of the opponent will disappear in the endless space Fleet Support on a combat ship indeed sounds very fun
-
Agree. Let's wait to see what else we got. Maybe it will have its use on the muni. Heck, the card itself depicts a muni, so it must be of some use.
-
I really hoped the Star frigate version will have something resembling the prow cannons. (other than 2r/2b dice). But i guess this is fine, can't wait to see what upgrades it has!
-
What if we combine X-wing with Armada? 🤔 Every time a squad would attack you play a game of x-wing. then you'd probably quit the game because a game would take a week to finish

I think a Hardcell is a big improvement compared to flottilas as well. Will be very interesting and opens up a whole lot of options it feels.

Green Squadron A-Wing VS. Generic A-Wing
sasska replied to Basile1902's topic in Star Wars: Armada Fleet Builds
Actually I really like green squadron. If you enjoy playing mixed role squads in medium/small fighter coverage I think you can include it. Sometimes it is really useful to have a Blitz bomber of some sort.
