  1. Hi Andrew, second question: What is going on with the Upcoming page? I really like checking that out to know when to expect stuff at my LGS. Lately a lot of the products (Arkham Horror LCG in particular) seem to be way off. Can we get some more TLC for that page please? Thanks!
  2. Hi Andrew! Couple questions: 1) Avid Arkham LCG player here. Loved the Gencon announcement for Marvel Champions. Seeing the player cards and scenario cards separated seemed like a great idea and a game changer. Any chance we could get that kind of split up for Arkham? 2) As an LCG player I would love to see a draft (cube) based product. I know the market is niche but if you guys released a product that was meant for cubing I think it would alleviate a lot of the problems other LCGs ran into. Have you guys ever thought of this? And if not is it something you'd be willing to explore? 3) Most of the competitive card games you guys make don't really get designed with 2v2 in mind. Would love to see some 2v2 support in future games. Any thoughts on the challenges in designing around competitive 2v2?
  3. https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/news/2018/6/8/state-of-the-lcg/ I mean, I've played almost every LCG... I'm starting to get sick of them getting killed off. I think FFG needs to focus on their IPs moving forward. Backing a 3rd party fueled LCG seems like a hazard now. Also more frequent rotations and limited card pools should really become a thing. I know X-Wing 2.0 is launching using a digital aspect to control ship prices. Would be nice for some first party apps that define the card pools / have deck builders with formats. I've played a lot of digital card games and it's great having pools of cards that change more frequently and incorporate older cards more often. I'd love to see them institute this with some of the LCGs co-op and competitive. It could really keep things interesting.
  4. Netrunner was probably eating into Magic's pie and they jacked the price of the license up. Or honestly Destiny could be doing it and this is their way to fight back.
  5. https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/news/2018/6/8/jacking-out/ Wow, don't even know what to say... I did not expect this...
  6. So I've been following LCGs pretty obsessively since the first Netrunner Core Set and Arkham since day 1. The trend I have noticed is that when a product moves from one status to another everything in the same cycle moves as well (meaning when the deluxe moves from on the boat to shipping the first pack moves to on the boat, the second one moves to at the printer, etc). I have also noticed with Arkham that the print on demand stuff is haphazard and has no real schedule. Novels have been shipped out the day they were announced, missions have come out months after they were supposed to, Labyrinths of Lunacy was announced almost a year ago and we still don't have it. So I would say no safe assumption can be made about Return to the Night of the Zealot or Labyrinths of Lunacy. They could release tomorrow or next year for all we know. As for the next deluxe... The first pack "went to the printers" 3/19. Arkham stuff usually moves on Thursdays and when it doesn't it usually follows schedule as though it moved on the following Thursday. If the deluxe went "on the boat" that Thursday (3/22) I suspect it will come off the boat 5 weeks later on 4/26, and be shipping for two weeks. That realistically puts us at probably 5/10 release date for the deluxe. This is all speculation on my part of course, and I understand that the statuses don't actually mean anything behind the curtain, but they do tend to work like clockwork in most cases. This is just weird cause FFG is still keeping us in the dark by not showing the status of our 2 most highly anticipated products. It's probably a sign that they aren't confident of a release date themselves yet on any of it.
  7. Awesome, thanks! It would be great if FFG offered a service where we could print fan made scenarios or have tools to create them. That way they can control the revenue stream, lol.
  8. Perfect, so they will have a problem if I print them on professional cards for personal use? That's kind of a shame.
  9. Does anyone know how FFG feels about fan made content? I want to make a campaign I'm working on open to the public when it's done but I'm scared of all the fan made content sites getting taken down at some point in time if they think it's making them lose money. Should I be worried? There are player cards and a campaign.
