If they add White Walkers, they'd have to add Grumkins and Snarks and all the other monsters your wet nurse warned you about ?.

KamaKrazyWarBoy got a reaction from Juan4aigle in new - rules questions
As far as my understanding goes:
    1) On the last page of the rules clarification, it states that while barbarians are in a city-state, it cannot be attacked (page 15).
    2) Landing on and killing the barbarian ends that units' turn so it cannot continue moving. Though if you have additional caravans they may complete their movements.
    3) Yes, as long as there are no opponents' cities or control tokens/barbarians on that space.
    4) You do lose the natural resource token, but it can be taken control of again on a later turn.
Granted, I've only played a couple of times so far so I may be wrong, but those are the conclusions my group came to and it seemed to work out pretty well for us.

Pounce is a placement within 3 spaces. When placed, one of the new spaces the figure occupies must be within 3 spaces of any of the spaces it occupied. This gives the Nexu an effective range of 4.
Difficult terrain and figures do not affect Counting Spaces, and thus not Pounce. Counting Spaces also does not require line of sight, it can go around corners. However, Counting Spaces cannot not go through blocking terrain (solid red), but can through impassable terrain (dotted red.)
Counting Spaces can use diagonals unlike normal large-figure movement, so Pounce can sometimes take the Nexu further than 6mp would.
(Also, Pounce can have the Nexu be placed partially on top of blocking terrain, as long as the target space for Pounce is a non-blocking space.)

I don't think defying the Jedi council made Qui-Gon or Obi-Wan any less of a candidate for an ideal Jedi, quite the contrary it may make them even better Jedi. That's tantamount to saying that if you disagree with Congress you're a bad American, which is obviously wrong. Also if Yoda isn't an ideal Jedi, who is? When 900 years old I reach, look as good, I will not.

Har! I would be interested to learn how such a silly weapon worked out! Like a Darth Maul double bladed weapon with one end as a vibroblade and the other end a lightsaber? Or would the lightsaber come out the same end as the vibrosword, and make a light spear of sorts? If it feels wrong its because it sounds absolutely ridiculous.

KamaKrazyWarBoy got a reaction from bradknowles in Getting the characters drunk
Even Andre the Giant got drunk, and he had a brawn rating of at least 6! Though after the first 100 beers or so, his presence dropped from 6 to 4 temporarily. I can easily see how being drunk would make a normal PC take setback dice or even have their Intellect or Cunning reduced accordingly. I echo others sentiment, that getting drunk isn't even worth rolling for, considering that if that's their choice, its going to happen. Rolling for the specific effect would be a great narrative twist though I think, one which I will have to try out. Thanks for the idea, Prost!

It's only railroading if the players feel railroaded It's more of an "emotional truth" that has little directly to do with the GM's intentions or preparations, and everything to do with how the session plays out in actuality.

If your GM gave you a chance to be awesome, and allowed you make the decisions about how to play your PC, then he did his job. The rest is just window dressing.
