I just don't see a big enough reason to leave ewoks and jawas out.. the more playable species the better the game. Thats all I'm saying.

Also.. it would be funny/horrifying to see an Ewok and or a jawa sith.. lol
    Add them.. that's my vote.

    Lol, I would go ......
    Ewok diplomat agitator
    (Back story)
He is tired of what the Empire did to thier world and how the rebels got them into the fight. So he is fighting for his Ewok brothers and sisters To make a change for his race and to claim a spot in Senate. (shaman clothing on)
I would try other careers as well .. just this one would be a funny one.
    i can dream.....

We've had a number of other species that only made a single appearance as background characters in the films get a full species write-up, so that's not really a reason to discount including Ewoks and Jawas, both of which have had plenty of Legends fluff printed about them, more so than some of the thus-far published species.
Jawas I see being more likely to show up in an EotE sourcebook, perhaps one dealing with notable worlds of the Outer Rim.
As for Ewoks not being suitable for the FaD line, I'd like to point out the Muun, who apart from a single individual whose only real relevance was as a backstory element to the Rebellion Era's top villain, had no real connection to the Force, yet were included in the Sentinel career sourcebook.  And there is Legends lore of Ewoks having a shamanistic tradition, which to my mind would make them a viable candidate for the Mystic career sourcebook.

Would be awesome if Ewoks were in the Mystic book actually. That's a really nice fit I hadn't thought of.

Ewoks -  I felt that  they were more spiritual and should be in FaD... Becuz they thought c3po was a god (becuz he was floating.) I hope they are in a FaD book .

Ewoks? I think these would be a cool fit in the AoR Engineer book, they are a creative and ingenious little species that would make really fun saboteurs or combat engineers. They would obviously be primitive and being in an AoR book makes the most sense. They are also iconic so I can't see FFG overlooking them.
Jawa? They would fit best in an EotE sector book, possibly focused on Arkanis or perhaps Shadow Ports. The other potential is for an Adventure, likely focused on a gruelling treck through the deserts of Tatooine.
Yodas species? The pure fact that people don't even know the species name is probably reason enough not to have them. Yoda has always carried a certain mystique, his history lost to time and his species unknown. I hope FFG maintains that enigma and don't bring them in. I doubt Disney/LFL would allow it anyway, unless something changes in the Cannon to introduce that species properly.

I would really like to see a "Backgrounds" book that has a bunch of additional character options to mechanically flesh out your character's back ground.

These would basically be similar to talents that you can pick up at character creation, so you might have backgrounds like:

"Veteran of the Clone Wars" that grants you Boost on using or knowing any equipment that was used in the Clone Wars.
"Served a Hutt" which would grant you bonuses when dealing with Hutts, and you speak Huttese.
"Imperial Training" which gives you bonuses on knowing their procedures and codes etc.
"Raised in Space" which gives you a bonus in zero G situations.

Stuff like that. Basically you'd be able to buy bonuses that are similar to your typical racial bonuses for about 10 XP during character creation, or even get some for free and they would all have something to do with how your character grew up or what he used to do. (A good DM can already give you boosts based on your background, but it would be nice to codify it a little)

FFG does see the problem that producing these kinds of compendiums, and their solution was to come up with the "utility decks" accessories to the game. In general, I do not see the justification in buying the critical injury decks or the Specialization decks, mostly because there is so much player generated resources that address this particular need.

That said, I did pick up the "Scum and Villainy" adversary deck (which I think comes close to what you are looking for in a "monster compendium," Bluhfer) and I have gotten plenty of use and mileage out of them and would recommend it and the other adversary decks for their convenience factor.

Welcome to the boards, Bluhfer!  You have unlocked the Achievement: Make the Exact Same Argument that People have Been Making at Least Once a Week for the Past Four Years.

Apologies for the sarcasm, but this argument has been rehashed over and over again.  It's not without merit, but it's unlikely to ever happen.  Editing and printing books is expensive, and few people will be buying them if they already have the content.  You're in luck, though.  Oggdude's Character Creator is amazing.  It's linked somewhere around here, but a simple Google Search ought to find it for you.
