I have seen this stated repeatedly and it's just pain wrong! 1. Palp works on very ship in your list. 3PO only the one he is riding on. 2. 3PO only guarantees you get 1 evade and only really works with 1 agility ships. Palp guarantees you get 1 evade PLUS whatever you rolled in the first place. 3. Palp works on offense. Lets say for the sake of argument you have 3PO on a 3 agility ship. You call 0 and roll evade, focus, blank. 3PO did nothing. Same scenario with Palp. You end up with evade, evade, focus. See the difference? 3PO is RANDOM while Palp is GUARANTEED.

Since they recently fully opened the barn door on errata why didn't they include Biggs in with the big 4 changes? The developers have long said that Biggs is a real pain to design around so why not change his ability at the same time as the others? I mostly play Rebels and I would be very open to a change. They should change his ability like this "When a friendly ship at range 1 is hit by an attack you may suffer all damage and effects of that attack instead of the defender." This would make Biggs way less valuable protecting the Ghost because you would still have to use the defenders agility value. It would also open up the X-wing for a defensive buff because Biggs no longer uses his defense value and tokens when using his ability. im not calling for more nerfs or bashing the FAQ here. I think what they did this week will be GREAT for the game long term but I am wondering why they didn't go ahead and remove this thorn in their side when they have the chance.

There is an Advanced pilot that is much better at doing that trick than Saboteur. I believe his name is Lt. colzet or something.

You are spot on with your analysis. There is also a small space to the sides of a K-wing that you can be in to make it very difficult for them to bomb you. You have to be just outside range 1 but not to much further than that. oh and the edge of the board is your friend!! They don't like to slam themselves of the edge for obvious reasons.

My local store pre-orders about five times the amount of FFG product that they need knowing they will get allocated down to what they wanted. As others have stated FFG is terrible at predicting how much of something will sell so they never produce enough stock. This is the reason I stopped buying Destiny. With no guarantee you will get what you want from a box you may never get it because FFG didn't produce enough.

Rex really doesn't work well with cloaking device. He wants shoot every round ideally. If you end up cloaking and not shooting you might as well use Zeb because Rex's ability is wasted. I like Rex with Sabine's tie and Hera crew. You can almost always guarantee a shot on something every round.

I couldn't have said it better myself. As someone who primarily plays Rebels I would LOVE to have the option of sticking new Palp on a U-wing to support my squad. He is not as all powerful as before but he is still in the top 5 best crew in the game. With anything that has an evade token he will work almost exactly the same. You will just use Palp and save the evade token for later instead of the other way around.

The winners in the FAQ are the players! They nerfed just about all the auto win lists besides K-wings(they are coming for you next Sabine) so no matter what is across the table from you you will at least have a chance. Maybe not a good chance but if you outplay your opponent you can win. The losers from the FAQ are netlisters in the upcoming tournaments. The meta has been blown up so there is nothing to copy that guarantees success against everything.

I believe it's all about not wanting people to show up to play with an illegal list because of cost increases. You can still show up with the same list after the FAQ and still play but your combos may be broken.

There are these kinds of people in every segment of society unfortunately. I love the X-Wing community because they are friendly awesome people who enjoy Star Wars as much as I do but there are still a few rotten apples.

The real problem with single torp slots is every single torpedo makes you spend the TL to fire. If there were a Homing Missile like torpedo then it would at least be an option but as it is you can't get enough mods without Chimps but X-wings can't afford to take those over the other options. With that said I still love my Advanced Proton Torpedo, Expertise Wedge with BB-8. It's great fun.

I think we got quite enough changes for right now. Sabine, Biggs and TLT may need looked at in the future but I think TLT is the least of the problem in that group. If they do feel like they need to change TLT it should be that you cannot modify your attack dice. That would make it still decent but not nearly as reliable.

Yeah I would have done the same. The nights spent flying fun casual lists are what keeps me coming back. Not every game has not be super competitive meta. I flew 3 X-wings today...and won!

It would actually be 5 extra health including the token on EM. I think the real value will be taking munitions that are useful in some cases but that you would be willing to sacrifice like Ion bombs or SC. I might try to play a few games with this to see how it works.

Does anyone have any updates from Endor? Are they streaming?

That is probably the reason that UK nationals are held in Birmingham and not London. Location is a considerable factor in the prices.

All this talk about the Punisher being the worst Imperial ship got me thinking of a title for it. Here goes... Punisher title. 0 points. once per turn when you are dealt a damage card you may discard a torpedo, missile or bomb upgrade card to discard that damage card. Everyone says you waste points loading ordnance on the Punisher so this lets you use them like IA to discard damage. You would also be able to ditch an ordnance token for this effect. This would make the Token you put on EM do something other than protect EM from Boba Fett crew as well.

No that's WAY to high. Most of the venues that host these events can be rented out for partys/wedding receptions starting around $2,500 a day as long as it is not a peak time. Hosting them during the large events would cost considerably more so I'm not sure what they are thinking other than for publicity.

No texas is central US. About and 18 hour drive from Georgia.

I love the /D title and wish that FFG could just swap the price on it and X/7. Then it would be a very tough choice between the two. If /D gave even a 1 point discount to the cannon being equipped that would make it so solid. I wonder if the price limit on the cannon choice was raised would Mangler /D's be good enough to unseat the X/7's? They would certainly be scary as hell.

I really wish the southeast US got an open! I think they decided against it because Celebration is in FL. That doesn't help if you can't win your way in. I really wanted that damage deck but can't drop $1000 for plane/hotel just for it. 5 opens in the US but not one within 15 hours drive from my area!

When you find a hard counter to parattanni please let the rest of us know. No one seems to possess that magic bullet yet.
