  2. Ello is overcosted even by T-70 standards. Nien is the same PS with an equally good ability and is cheaper. Once the fabled X-wing fix comes in a lot of these pilots might make a comeback though.
  3. I forgot to mention but it's a good possibility that it is the first Rebel only EPT. As for the rest I am 95% sure it is correct. It for sure has the discard clause.
  4. That they do but they only have around 5 faction restricted crew that are useable and most of those are only useful in niche circumstances. Rebels would gladly trade 10+ crew for one Dengar or Errata'ed Palpatine.
  5. Hopefully whatever they give to Rebels will come with 3-4 really good crew so we can make use of all the crew carrying ships we just got. Seriously FFG why give us all these rebel crew slots with nothing good to put in them?
  6. I think there is enough of this card visible to determine most of what it does. I'm pretty positive it reads something like this. Unique. Small ship only "When a friendly ship at range ?(probably 1) is hit by an attack, you may discard this card to suffer any uncanceled damage instead of the defender." Can't see the point cost. If this is what it does how many points do you think it's worth and what do you think about it?
  7. I think the best way to make all these new Rebel crew carriers viable is to give the Rebels some new crew that don't suck! About 75% of Rebel crew are either incredibly niche or flat out worse versions of other unused cards. Rebels do not have a single crew that gives reliable actions/dice mods. Rey and Ezra are the closest they have. Rey just banks actions so she can be countered by very aggressive play and Ezra requires you to be stressed(something that is really bad considering the crappy dials on most Rebel ships.)
  8. I am really looking forward to seeing the dial and pilot abilities. If the dial is at least decent(like the arc dial) then it has potential. Jyn and Jan with EI will be a great help to the durability of all your ships thanks to the huge arc. There are plenty of offensive boosting EPTs you can slap on to help on that end. I also wouldn't be surprised if at least one of the unique pilots ability give you offensive rerolls. Wookies are straight up fighters you know.
  9. I agree that the mechanics creep has effected the dials of new verses older ships. I believe that is the primary reason the new waves make up the majority of the meta. To see if a ship is meta viable all you have to do is see if the dial is good enough to run PTL or not. If a ship has few greens and no green hard turns it is probably not playable currently.

  11. Jyn Erso, Jan Ors and EI. Use that huge arc to pass focus evade to anyone that needs it and still get your reinforce action. I am loving the possibilities of this little ship.
  12. It's true there is not many valuable droids at 2 points other than R5-K6 and BB-8 but that says more about the crap droids they have put out than the power of those 2. It's a shame that the Astromech slot is either regen or something to throw away with AI. They could make the iconic Rebel fighters so much better with just a few really good non-unique Astromechs.
  13. Now this is a fantastic idea! Cuts down on the effectiveness without making it completely useless for low PS ships. Make this happen FFG!
  14. There are a boat load of upgrades for ordnance carriers in this wave and we have not seen even half of them. Cruise missiles look like they are Atk:TL and not spend the TL plus extra atk for maneuver speed. Bomblet generator is a complete unknown other than being unique. The system appears to do something with bombs during deployment but not sure what or how. There is also the Mod in the Scurrg pack to consider. It seems like a great many of these upgrades could be used to good effect on the Punisher.
  15. We all know that price changes are probably not going to happen. What change other than that could bring TLT down to the other turrets? I think the TL requirement would be good. Yes generic TLT spam would be dead but is that really a bad thing?

  17. I also hope there is an X/Y aces pack coming in the near future. I love X-wings and play them regularly but not in tournaments because they start you in a huge hole. I know scum have not received any aces packs other than Most Wanted(really the scum starter) but all of the scum ships are more recent releases so I don't feel they really need them. Yeah the Star Viper and Kihraxz need some help but they are still better than X-wings in my opinion.
  18. When I first read Synced Turret I missed the Attack:Target lock requirement and I thought it would be a decent TLT alternative. With the target lock requirement I see very few cases where it wouldn't be better to just buy TLT instead. However all this got me thinking about what can be done with TLT to make room for other turret upgrades and it hit me that the Attack:Target lock header would be a perfect errata for TLT. FFG seems to care about upgrades that push ships out of the meta and TLT certainly qualifies. So what does everyone think about this? I know calling for more errata after the recent FAQ seems off but TLT is one of the few cards that push whole categories of ships out because they can't stand up to the consistent damage output.

  20. Depending on important factors like dials and pilot abilities I could see myself getting 2 of each.
  21. Crew would make the most sense and be the easiest to implement but I do NOT see them getting a regen droid. I believe if the Devs could have a do over than R2-D2 would not be the same so I doubt they will make the same mistake with an imperial droid crew.
  22. Good catch! I didn't even think about that. I liked the synced turret before I noticed the TL requirement but not so much afterward. The ability to bypass Biggs would be very good in certain situations tho
  23. I recently started playing 2 Gand findsmen with Sarco Tugboat and Ka'ato Z-95 all with mindlink. Ka'ato has tracers chimps and crane. The rest is season to taste. It's super fun and you get so many free actions the Gands can evade every turn. Also everyone is PS 5 so you have a lot of movement flexibility.
  24. This wave looks so interesting! I can't wait for the actual announcement tomorrow. How can they not expect these things to be all over the web? You would think they would have the article cued up to drop when the presentation concluded.
  25. I don't think Biggs is overpowered but he is a huge design speed bump for the Rebel faction. When they design ANYTHING that can go on an X-wing they have to consider what it does to Biggs. That is the main reason I brought up this topic.
