  1. I would bet that most 77 point rebel lists will be Miranda plus either Biggs or the Stresshog. Scum will probably be PTL Fenn plus something. Imperials are the most open. Maybe 2 Defenders or SFs?
  2. Imperials have the TIE/d title as their double tap. It's worse in some ways and better in others but overall a /D Vessery can probably out damage Corran.
  3. Yeah that is the thing that has always bugged me about the JM5K. I like the asymmetric dial but right turns should have been red and left turns white. It also should only have a red sloop left and no right sloop. As it is the weird dial hardly changes impacts how the ship is flown.
  4. Interesting question. If FFG had a do over on the Jumpmaster expansion would anything stay the same? Maybe Chimps but that's about it. They really screwed the pooch on that one lol
  5. The biggest reason I suggested this is because the Jumpmasters are SO much better than anything in the same price range it will distort the whole faction going forward. If they make a good ship that is priced correctly then it will hardly be used because of the JM5K. I don't have anything against the ship itself or mindlink. In fact I love Mindlink on my G1-A swarm list and would be sad if it got hit.
  6. FFG just needs to say "our bad" and fix the JM5K instead of all these other cards that aren't the problem. Make new pilot cards with a higher point cost or a new dial with the left turns white, left sloop red, right turns red and no right sloop. Make an online order form where you order the new cards/dial and just pay shipping then ban the old ones.
  7. We don't need any more direct damage that bypasses shields thank you very much. Seeing as he was a commander I could see something like letting you spend focus tokens from his ship to modify rolls for damage from your bomb tokens. That would make Clusters and Proxies very deadly for the empire when you land them.
  8. I am actually pretty okay with bombs at the moment but not many people play them in my local meta. If anything needs to be done it should be Advanced Slam gives a stress when used. It's not much of a de-buff but I believe it would be enough. It would be the same for the initial bombing run but it makes getting out more tricky and predictable. Also the counters to K-wings already exist. They HATE Ion with a white hot passion so if K-wings start to dominate the meta people may consider ICT over TLT for once. TIE/D with Ion is really good against K-wings as well. We have the tools to deal with Bomber lists.
  9. Yeah it's priceless to watch the face of someone that didn't know what was coming when you dump 5 pretty much guaranteed hits into something. I dropped Omega Leader in one shot after Wes(adaptability) stripped her TL and it was beautiful.
  10. Played Wedge, Wes and Biggs in 2 games yesterday. I even won both! I love expertise, bb-8, APT Wedge. Expensive as hell but I love it.
  11. Pretty varied really. Everyone around these parts pretty much just flys what they feel like. Last kit tournament was a week ago and only one "meta" list in Fangaroo. We had B-wings, Hwks, /D defenders, Horton and lots of other crazy stuff. We all like to come up with our own lists instead of copying the latest hotness.
  12. I really like both of these suggestions but I think the astromech should be 2 points and "X-wing, E-wing only". Everyone knows that both those ships are way over costed without regen of some kind. This Astro would be great on generics but the named pilots probably still go with unique droids. Any new USEFUL generic Astromechs would be great as the current options are severely lacking.
  13. If the card packs were all pre-set like they are now then I would be all for it. If they were random cards with variable rarities then I would have never bought into the game. I have played many card games over the years and always quit when I decided I was not willing to invest $300+ in a new set. It have already given up on Destiny because of this. One of the many reasons I love this game is I know exactly how much I am going to spend on a new wave.
  14. Oh I forgot to add that Rey crew would be spectacular with Mindlink. So Rebels would have that going for them if they had access to Attanni.
  15. I have a hypothetical question about Mindlink. If Attanni Mindlink was not Scum only would it see much play for the other factions? We were debating this at my local store the other day and I wanted to get some more opinions. I believe Scum is really the only faction that can utilize it to its fullest potential but Empire could also make decent use of it. Rebels just don't have good enough dials to handle the stress sharing so I don't think they could effectively use it other than maybe an A-wing swarm(Jake would be great tho).
  16. 1) You have to be very careful if using a single action ship like Rex as a flanker. He can easily be caught out and killed while the rest of your ships are not in a position to capitalize. 2)I typically go with focus down Biggs unless you have enough ordnance to kill the stresshog in one turn. Dealing 4 damage to the hog while Biggs lives won't really gain you much because the next turn you are going to have to shoot Biggs anyway while the hog double stresses like normal.
  17. I have a few that are loose as well. I typically just take the dial out and bend it slightly out. Fixes it every time.
  18. I believe that Sabine crew is fine as is but I do have issues with SLAM and Advanced Slam. It's much to easy to Slam around the broad all game with no downside other than not shooting a crappy 2 dice turret. Advanced Slam should give you a stress token when used. That way if you want to Slam every turn your options are going to be FAR more limited. If the K-wing had to start every maneuver with a green to clear stress they would have a much more difficult time landing bombs where they need to go plus it makes other stress mechanics a real pain for K-wings.
  19. You said title in your first post not EPT. Either way there are easier fixes for the X-wing than restrictions on pilot skill. They can buff attack power and mobility without overpowering Biggs or they can simply make a title that gives you a free evade at the start of combat if no friendly ships are at range 1 if they wanted to buff its defense. It's not really that hard to work around Biggs if they want to. Since Rogue One was just released on DVDs I'm hoping they drop a Scarif Veterans tie-in sometime soon.

    They do not do previews every week. We can go for a couple of months without any news. There will most likely not be any thing else substantial until a few weeks before wave Xl hits.
  21. What about Hobbie? He shouldn't be locked out of the fixes just because of Biggs! Plus Biggs could take the EPT droid then equip whatever ps6+ fix there was. p.s. I hate the pilot skill limited fix ideas. All the X-wings need help.
  22. A RNG roll would kill Sabine crew and relegate all bombs back to the binder. I do agree with the range limit though.
  23. The PS7 will definitely have one. The PS5 will probably have one as well considering the pack comes with multiple EPTs. I doubt either generic gets one but the inclusion of Intimidation gives me hope the PS3 might since it's better on low PS pilots.
  24. All lowering the point cap would do is make the undercosted ships more valuable. It would only drive players towards those ships not away.
  25. The last one is just insanely powerful and broken. You would never have to worry about being arc dodged or dialing in the wrong maneuver. Firesprays are a little behind the curve but not that much.
