I think players look at Kylo crew like this. He is not at all fun to play with or against and he doesn't give enough of a competitive edge to make people ignore the fact that he sucks the fun out of a game. I for one am glad because I hate that **** condition.

Looking at the wrong dial absolutely should not result in a game loss. Mistakes can be made. There does have to be some kind of punishment however. I can think of plenty of ways to discourage people from doing this on purpose but I am personally not a fan of getting to change an opponents dial. I don't like being in a situation where I feel like a **** for flying their ship off the board but would be stupid not to. So here are a few simple solutions. The offended player gets to deal one face up damage card to a ship of his choice. Offended player gets to look at all unrevealed opponents dials then choose a new maneuver on his dial. There probably does need to be set guidelines on what to do in that situation though.

Yeah I am very glad we have an awesome community or we wouldn't get to see any of these games. I guess FFG OP figures why do it themselves when they can get people to do it for them for free. FFG I hope you read these forums because the lack of streaming at your large events is just ridiculous. We are interested in seeing this great game played as much as possible. No Celebration stream? System opens being streamed out of pocket by your customers? Please help grow your game by letting us see great players complete.

I feel the same way. If you want to play thematic with no era mixing then more power to you but don't restrict everyone else to that.

I'm fine with whatever ships they pull from the Cone Wars era but we do not need new factions. If they introduced two new factions then every wave would have to have at minimum 5 ships. It's best to divide them between the current factions. As long as they don't make a **** Jar Jar crew card or a Midiclorian count EPT!

I would love to see a Hwk only mod that drops the turret slot in exchange for a big discount and maybe another crew. Lightly Armed Transport -5 points. Hwk only. Your upgrade bar loses the (turret) and gains an additional (crew). This upgrade may only be equipped to unique pilots.

I really hope as they start to run out of ships to release they will just revisit some of the older ships instead. Most would rather see a new X-wing, Y-wing, TIE fighter, TIE interceptor and Z-95 expansions than increasingly obscure new ships.

I would have loved for X-wing to have different dice like in Armada but that ship has long past sailed. The dice system we have is not bad just to limited by the low numbers. With higher numbers each ship could feel a little different.

This is spot on. There is a guy in my area that just doesn't get it. He keeps ignoring dice mods then whines when he rolls hit,focus,focus,focus. He then rage quits after the first round of combat because he "can't win with these dice"

I wish I could like this comment a hundred more times. Once the first FLGS here closed I went from playing a couple nights a week to once a month. I know I would MUCH rather pay a little more to play a LOT more.

I have found the Ion to be greatly effective even against large bases. Hit the large based ship with one ion shot then they become very conservative with their maneuvers. They will not go anywhere near range 2 of any board edge for fear of that second Ion making them fly off.

I have been running /D ion Vessery with backdraft(same build except CS instead of expertise) and TS Sabaac. I love that list and had forgotten how powerful that ion cannon can be! Backdraft is the ideal spotter for Vess.

Since I was without a store for 6+ months I am much more mindful of where my hobby money goes. I even try to buy something every time I go even if it is small like a pack of sleeves.

Exactly what I was thinking. I think empire will probably have the best variety because they have so many good options at the 25-35 point level.

I buy all my ships from the FLGS so it has not affected me at all. Got to keep the place to play open and profitable. Our previous game store closed party because everyone bought online.
