Ahsoka with Wingman and Kyle will be fun until they change the FAQ. She will be a stress relieving action granting TIE of awesomeness. I would almost bet that the next FAQ will change the wording on Kyles card to say this instead of your. Because technically the way they wrote the card when you remove a stress from ANY ship you can assign a focus to ANY ship because they are all yours! They should just let him work like that and be the rebel answer to Palp.

I think this is an interesting question because of the wording in the first part. When it says "may" that usually means it's optional but does not seem so later in the paragraph. I think I agree that it's not optional but needs to be cleared up. The reason I asked is with stress mule breylan you always want to miss the first attack. More dice equals harder to miss.
-
When attacking with a primary weapon at range 1 do you have to roll the additional die or can you choose not to? I know this seems like a stupid question but there are times you may want to intentionally miss on an attack.

Well, Rey only has 3 actions with a boost, so PTL doesn't give you tons, especially when you get the focus for free. It's a difficult decision.
I'll be sticking to VI, but if she was PS9 it would be PTL for me, but then I wouldn't bother with Kanan as crew. Her ability negates much of the need for a TL.
I'm really tempted to give her Navigator. Set a one bank and when it comes time to move do a 1 bank, 2 bank, 3 bank, or 3 S-Loop.
Another great idea. Kanan is bolted on. I think it's a tough choice for the other. I like Finn, just for the five dice primary to punch through palp aces, and the extra defence is actually really nice. But gunner works, as does Kyle and Navigator.
Tough choices.
This is where Ahsoka comes in. Put Kannan on her with the title, mod and VI then make sure to stay within range 2 of where Rey moves. Frees up a crew slot for Finn or 3po

I can tell you from experience that Rey without Biggs to protect her early is a no go. If she gets focused on early she drops like a rock. 1v1 she is tough to kill but you have to get her to that point. At first I was excited about Rey but have found her and Finns in arc abilities basically just get the Falcon killed.

Did anyone else notice that Hot Shot Co-Pilot is somewhat countered by the first few tech upgrades? With Weapons Guidance and Sensor Cluster you at least have something to use your focus token on. Maybe FFG is trying to rescue these upgrades from the trash pile. It's more likely they secretly hate R5-P9 on Poe and want you to use BB-8 but just a thought.

MetaCannon cost 4
3 attack range 1-3
If your target is a U-boat, x7 defender, Fel or palp shuttle roll as many extra attack dice as you can find.
I couldn't resist once I saw the name in gabes link

Until you perform a maneuver speed 3 or less assign a speed token to your ship. As long as you have a speed token you may add 1 (evade) to your defence rolls. (1 or 2 pts)
Idk
That would definitely have to be TIE Fighter only. Put that on defender and you are NEVER hitting him! Lol

Also FWIW I think he is a useful astromech but I think it's weird he has no benefit to his own ship while attacking. It would have been cool if they just made it so you could lock any friendly ship including yourself. That way you have one re-roll without spending the lock.
-
When you have a target lock on a ship are you not "locked" on to them? Thus you are a locked ship and attacking. I know the way most read the card and think it's probably what is intended but I think it's stupid that you can't use it to directly benefit the ship that M9-G8 is on when attacking. Also in the rule book under the target lock action it has in bold the blue token as being locked. I am simply pointing out that it is in my opinion a poorly worded card if going by the core rule book.
-
So M9-G8 says when a ship you have locked is attacking you may re-roll one attack die. Does that just mean the ship with your matching red target lock token or can you re-roll one of your own attack dice as well? Technically according to the rule book the ship with the blue target lock token is the one "Locking". I don't like the wording of the card if it's just the Red lock token because it seems to me like it should say "When a ship with a Red target lock token matching this ships token attacks you may force the owner to re-roll one die"

R3 is a waste of time. No matter what you pair him with you basically give yourself-1atk. His bonus is not at all worth it. Maybe if he let you keep the evade token after the round if not spent. As is he just takes up a valuable slot.

Will Black Market Slicers narrow squad variety at Worlds more than Jumps?

I lost Soontir to Asajj and Z with BMST when my friend went 3 for 3 on the rolls. When the dice are hot BMST can turn a game. Not many other 1point upgrades will do that for you.
