  1. It’s true, tho I had fun, not so sure about my opponent. Tho after the initial what just happened game, we reset he changed his approach and it was a much closer game
  2. So I put this list on the table tonight and went 2-0 with it. Bloody **** its a fun list to fly!
  3. With the decloak you can do a 2 forward then move 3 strait into an afterburners then 3 bank then add the barrel roll on top. We call that the Ricky Bobby
  4. This was the list for reference: (68) Poe Dameron [T-70 X-wing] (2) R4 Astromech (0) Integrated S-foils (1) Heroic Points: 71 (40) Kazuda Xiono [Fireball] (4) R5 Astromech (1) Heroic Points: 45 (42) Blue Squadron Rookie [T-70 X-wing] (0) Integrated S-foils Points: 42 (42) Blue Squadron Rookie [T-70 X-wing] (0) Integrated S-foils Points: 42 Total points: 200 I had the R5 Astro and turn 1 slammed and flipped the damage to remove the token to get some early shots on the flank but that first card was direct hit. Against an all I2 list meant no extra dice for me. For next time i will take the first turn to remove the damage. Im more curious if it would be better to drop the R5 for the title instead and maybe an R4.
  5. Put kaz on the table for the first time last night. Feels good to slam again. His ability didn’t trigger at all that game. Had Poe kaz and 2 blue rookies against a 6 ship munitions spam. All opposing ships were i2 and the card I received at set up was flipped into a direct hit. So kaz never got the bonus of his extra dice, but he had the entire swarm chasing him around the board before he went down. As for kaz Is the title a auto include or not?
  6. Ricky freaking bobby (40) Kazuda Xiono [Fireball] (4) Cloaking Device (6) Afterburners (3) Advanced SLAM (1) Heroic Points: 54 Total points: 54 how fast can you go in a single turn
  7. So I finally put the Poe 3 blues on the table, it’s interesting. I ran the extended version with the 3 BB Astromechs and I must say those make blocking real easy. Had multiple turns of Using 1 blue to block while the remaining blues and Poe would dish solid damage. Having Poe be able to force the opponent to spend tokens on defence makes the blues a bit more survivable.
  8. Fair enough. Honestly haven’t put Rey on the table yet, so not really sure what the best way to fly it is. I’m sure there’s some degenerate things in extended, but for most of the time my local scene is pretty casual, tho we on occasion have the Toronto system open winner come Out for events
  9. So I’ve been staring hard at the 4X lists. Mainly torn between these 2: (68) Poe Dameron [T-70 X-wing] (2) R4 Astromech (0) Integrated S-foils (1) Heroic Points: 71 (42) Blue Squadron Rookie [T-70 X-wing] (1) BB Astromech (0) Integrated S-foils Points: 43 (42) Blue Squadron Rookie [T-70 X-wing] (1) BB Astromech (0) Integrated S-foils Points: 43 (42) Blue Squadron Rookie [T-70 X-wing] (1) BB Astromech (0) Integrated S-foils Points: 43 Total points: 200 and 4X (55) Nien Nunb [T-70 X-wing] (0) Integrated S-foils (3) Elusive (5) Pattern Analyzer (2) Black One Points: 65 (44) Red Squadron Expert [T-70 X-wing] (0) Integrated S-foils (1) Heroic Points: 45 (44) Red Squadron Expert [T-70 X-wing] (0) Integrated S-foils (1) Heroic Points: 45 (44) Red Squadron Expert [T-70 X-wing] (0) Integrated S-foils (1) Heroic Points: 45 Total points: 200
  10. After reading this thread I’ve finally bit the bullet and packed up Rey for my next game night. Will report back on the inevitable thrashing since I’ve not put a large base turret on the table yet. Also merry Christmas!
  11. I’m curious about the R2 on snap. Was it super helpful? Or would those 4 points be better served as a bid?
  12. Been building some fun things with E-wings. (52) Knave Squadron Escort [E-wing] (2) Fire-Control System Points: 54 (52) Knave Squadron Escort [E-wing] (2) Fire-Control System Points: 54 (52) Knave Squadron Escort [E-wing] (2) Fire-Control System Points: 54 (36) Jake Farrell [RZ-1 A-wing] Points: 36 Total points: 198 or can fit both named pilots as well. (66) Corran Horn [E-wing] (6) R2 Astromech (2) Fire-Control System (1) Crack Shot Points: 75 (61) Gavin Darklighter [E-wing] (6) R2 Astromech (2) Fire-Control System (1) Crack Shot Points: 70 (52) Knave Squadron Escort [E-wing] (2) Fire-Control System Points: 54 Total points: 199
