  1. Well, I'll definitely be picking one of these bad boys up.  Both the C-ROC and it's Scyk escort look gorgeous, can't wait to find out more about it.  The Light Scyk title is interesting, but will it suffer from the "2 dice vs tank" worry floating around at the moment?

    Still, a 12 point blocker is very useful.


  2. Yoda should NOT be a crew upgrade. Instead he should be a dual condition upgrade card. One side is Do, the other is Do Not.

    The Do side will allow one friendly ship to automatically succeed with best results possible (all crits on red dice, all evades on green dice) for one roll of dice, per turn. Then switch to Do Not.

    Do Not forces the last friendly ship that used 'Do' to blank out on their next roll. Or maybe gain the no attack token at the end of the round.

    Anyway, not crew because OT Yoda didn't hang out on starships.

    what slot then?


  3. Yoda's, "Try not; do or do not" would seem to lend itself to an Emperor-like ability of changing a die face -- you're not trying to roll something, you actually are.

    I think they should have made yoda and the emporer do the same thing but palp influences red dice, yoda green. Makes sense to me, Yoda would never use his powers for attack and the emperor likely not for defense.

    I like this idea


  4. How have they not put Yoda in the game yet?

    Master Yoda: 6 points (Crew)

    -At the start of the activation phase, switch a friendly ships ps value with an enemy ships ps value until the end of the combat phase.


  5. Get him a firespray and a Decimator. Both great ships for beginners because it will help them get shots most turns because of the rear arch and turret. Lots of health on them too so they won't lose a ship early in the game.

    Heavy Laser Cannon - 7pts

     

    Rear Admiral Chiraneau PS (8) - 46pts

    Expose - 4pts

    Ysanne Isard - 4pts

     

    This list is fun as you will be able to toss 4 attack dice with each ship. All the upgrade cards come with these expansions.

    Before I get trolled on I should mention this is not a competitive list. But a fun start for a beginner who only owns the 2 starter Tie FOs and wants a Firespray.

  7. I'm considering buying one of these ships. Has anyone played through both of their campaigns? Which campaign did you enjoy more?

     

    I'm leaning towards Rebel transport because it comes with an x-wing with Tarn and Wes. I've proxied all the upgrade cards already so I'm not too concerned about them. The only thing that will really tip the scales is the enjoyment of their campaigns.
