Welcome to x-wing. It is a wonderful game. If you want to enhance your experience i recommend buying acrylic templates. It just feels so much better. Once i got them i regretted waiting so long. And i can never go back now. Also i recommend either buying accrylic tokens or painting the ugly brown sides of all the tokens with bright sharpie paint pens. Finally, if you can find them online, the battlefield in a box 3d asteroids just make the game even more amazing. Happy piloting!

Rey is my favorite pilot in the game. I agree with your assesment that Han isnt necessarily the funnest pilot to fly against. I think Rey is a little more fun to play against because her arc matters and the 3 bank is a little predictable. Also to reinforce what others have said, there are a lot of fun upgrades and fun t70 pilots in the pack.

I made a 4x6 table. Its perfect for xwing because when u put 2 mats on it you have 6 inches left on each of the sides for cards.

When has dash ever been bad?

Each dice has a 2/8 chance of rolling a focus result. So if you roll 4 green dice the expected outcome is 1 focus result.

Tlts are lame. So are pwts. Nerf them to range 1-2

This is excellent! I do think that the ps 10 bump should only be for activation phase, not combat phase.

Not a fan? Personally I loved it. As a fan of x-wing miniatures, that epic battle above Scarriff had me jumpin in my seat. Also, I found it refreshing to see storm troopers hit their mark. Also, that final scene with Vader and then Leia, was absolutely goosebumps inducing.

I agree. Its impossible to price perfectly because cards are caught in the middle of two numbers. I also think there are ships that are caught in the middle of 2 attack numbers (2 attack is too low, 3 is too high) but thats a whole other can of worms.

Thanks gents, it was a blast, it lasted about 3 hours. The rebels & scum just barely got 2 cargo containers to the Tantive. It felt pretty balanced, and the desired outcome was achieved (1 to 2 containers secured). It was really exciting at the end, it felt like the rebels/scum had won because they captured 2 containers, but when Jyn was not revealed it was the Imps that were victors! Ill give it another go soon and see if any tweaks are needed. I'd be happy to hear suggestions.

I should give Babaganoosh a shoutout for this mission as it borrowed several ideas from his excellent mission. Can't remember the name of the mission but it has rebels and scum stealing a package from the imperials and at some point the scum turn on the rebels.
