  1. I was at the Milwaukee regionals as well. I'm not a fan of how it turned out
  2. Once I do however, I get a single turn of bombing before their Squadrons come in and tear mine apart, leaving me with no fighter cover for their massive blob.
  3. Appreciate the quick replies! What would you guys do against a Rieekan Zombie Blob? Speaking specifically of the comp below: Rieekan + Gallant Haven Wexley Skywalker Wedge Gold Squadron Y-Wing Jan Orrs Dagger Squadron + another 2 squads I can't remember. I've been trying for the last couple of days to come up with some sort of answer to this and its just beyond my reckoning without dedicating my entire fighter screen to destroying it. My Rhymer ball would just get flattened by Firepower of that magnitude.
  4. Hey Guys, My favorite Armada buddy and I have been debating back and forth on whether a (smaller) Rhymer Ball is better than taking a dedicated Anti-Squadron screen. To compare, I have a Rhymer Ball consisting of: Dengar Lambda Shuttle Strom Jonus Rhymer Steele Mithel His Anti-Squadron Screen consists of: Mithel Fel 2 Tie Advanceds Lambda Shuttle He then uses Relay + Chirneau to be able to have Mithel Shotgun multiple times, while letting Fel dole out free damage. It seems pretty effective at cutting through squadron hull, including the aforementioned Rhymer Ball when head to head. I guess I'm asking, which would you rather have? Perhaps elaborate as to why as well.
  5. Not literally told him. I just told him that I thought his list was very frustrating to play against. Those words exactly. And unfortunately, it was CC so I couldn't have leading shots and X17's together like I would usually run.
  6. He has made the argument that this refers to ships that have a Commander equipped and their single upgrade hence the word "upgrades." I unfortunately don't see any hard wording that over-rides the one upgrade card limit. Maybe I'm just not reading this right?

  8. I have someone in my CC group that is claiming that the one upgrade limit applies to the entire campaign because there is no specific sentence that undoes this limitation in the book. Is he wrong, or how is it supposed to be played? Has this been submitted as an FAQ already?

The problem I have is then that forces me to take a Rhymer ball, which necessarily isn't that bad, but if I were doing an all-purpose list, I might not have taken a Rhymer Ball, which then leaves me high and dry when he pulls out this cancer. Best part is that it wasn't even TRC's, just 5 red dice with Ackbar with Gunnery Teams, since it was Corellian Conflict, which is enough to just pour it on. However, in general his list does the TRC's and Ackbar and 4 of them. I told him how cancer his list was and his only reply was "meh, then just blow up the ships." As if it was just that easy...

  13. The problem was he sat at Speed 4 the entire game and just out activated me with 5 activations to 4. And it was the first battle so I didnt have X17's or Leading Shots. Unfortunately, Demolisher Title was taken by someone else on the empire side, and I did not have the bombers to pull off a Rhymer Ball. I just couldn't keep him in my front arc at all. --------------------- Thanks for all the advice though, in my non-Corellian Conflict games I will keep all this in mind, because this guy plays this cancer as his only list, usually its just 4 with TRC's, Ackbar and Gunnery Teams
  14. Hey all! I recently played a Corellian Conflict style game where my opponent ran 5 MC30's with Ackbar and just flew sideways the entire game. I had dust fields in the game so I was able to mitigate his shooting for 3 turns, but even in the other 3 turns, his 5 MC30's just chucked buckets of dice at me and I watched my ISD-C2 go up in smoke. This lone ship lost almost lost me the game if not for the free mission points. I unfortunately did not have the squadrons to chase down his MC30's either, as I had taken a blob that was more focused on clearing and destroying enemy squadron blobs rather than outright bombing. My question is this: Does anyone have a reliable method of dealing with 5 MC30's that chuck out 5 red dice every turn and gunnery teams? No matter how clever my positioning was with the Dust Fields, I just couldn't stop the massive pool of dice coming at me. What can I do?
  15. I know that it's wayy late, but I wanted to share my experience with popping Flotilla's like this. A raider with Expanded Launchers and Sensor Team has a very reliable percentage to pop a flotilla every time it gets to shoot. (Barring a flub of the 4 black dice). I run this with Screed to very good effect.
  16. Nothing else offline really. All the new squadrons and objectives will be on BattleScribe by tomorrow. Please don't forget to add in Dual Turbolaser Turrets as a modification and Flechette Torpedoes, since those are missing. Same with Rapid Launch Bays! Thank you, the work you do is very much appreciated!

Nevetz, I've noticed that when equipping Minister Tua and a Defensive Retrofit to a ship then saving the list, when you re-load the list later, the defensive retrofit disappears, or frequently when you look at your dashboard, the retrofit cost in the fleet is gone as well. I don't think it's saving on certain ships, like the ISD-1 for example. Just thought I'd let you know about that bug. Love the builder.
  18. I can think to do do something about this, will let you know in this thread as always. Anyway, new squadrons are up and running. Have fun building your fighter wings! Any word on the new Titles and stuff that was spoiled online? Like the Light Cruiser Titles and the upgrade cards like Flechette Launchers and stuff? On the way I assume?
  19. If I have a ship that has fighter coordination team and issues squadron, let's say I choose to move a squadron onto the station, i would heal a damage from the squadron. What happens if I choose to use the fighter coordination team to move the squadron a second time and land on the station again? Do I get to heal a second damage from the squadron?
