I am unsure of his Yellow Objective, but I remember that there was no chance I was going to pick it, and I think fire lanes fits that description since he had a LMC80 and an MC80.   12. Is there a thread where somebody is aggregating the store championship fleet lists like with the regionals data? If there is I can't seem to find it. I grabbed the Milwaukee Board Game Barrister data to contribute.
  13. Except FFG analysed data from worlds and saw that 9/10 of the top 10 lists had Rieekan and Bomber aces put together in pretty much the same builds. They also saw that Rhymer and Demolisher were present in the top Imperial finishers, and that everyone used a lifeboat, so they nerfed those too. It's almost like they used data and facts rather than a single anecdote (unsupported by data) from a single source. As for the Rieekan nerf, if you're looking for sympathy, you're barking up the wrong tree.

  16. My friend runs a Double Victory list with a Quasar, and he has been running Howlrunner and 4 Interceptors, and let me say that those 28 blue dice Alpha strike are nothing to sneeze at. It's very good at chewing through anything (or at least crippling anything) that isn't under the protection of Gallant Haven. So, that said, I think that a lot of "Sloane's Success" can be chalked up to the Quasar alpha strike.
  17. I wouldn't rate her in the top 3 for Imperial generals... which is why I said she isn't THAT good, (meaning she doesn't require a nerf). I'm not stating she doesn't have her uses or is good for those uses, I'm just saying that she isn't good enough to require the nerf that some people are clamoring for.
  18. I would just like to point out that multiple times in this thread I've seen that people have claimed that Sloane is 26 points of beat-stick. Sloane is 24 points, and she's not that good. As multiple people have said, all she does it make it so that squads are a tad more effective in anti-squad battles and have more impact after the squad battle is over. Sloane doesn't auto-win the squad battle, but she enhances the tools imperials have like the Quasar with Flight Controllers and Expanded Hangar Bay to activate 6 squads (with a token) and shoot a ton of blue dice (which by the way are JUST as good with sloane as without against squads) at enemy squads. Sloane isn't overpowered at all. She simply boosts up the considerable alpha strike tools (that are still great without her!) that imperials have. So no, don't nerf her.
  19. I feel like its a matter of preference for the 3/3 front arc... because I find that SW7's are wayyy better than leading shots on the VSD's
  20. I think SW7's are a necessity on the VSD II's. Mainly because if you're going to chuck 3 blue dice at long range, why not get a guaranteed 3 damage? God help you if you get 3 blue accuracys and a blank on a red...
  21. Yeah, its an offensive retrofit on the ISD2. I believe I know what it's effect is already, but of course I do not have the card in hand, I've only been able to work out and fill in what the previews had. Last time I did this for RBD and another card in Wave 5 before they were spoiled to the public and I was right on both of them. I have an educated guess, but thats it EDIT: I also am making my educated guess that it is 5 points.

  23. Just because your meta doesn't spam / use Rieekan doesn't mean the other 99% of metas don't. You cannot claim something is true for everyone else based on your own personal experience.
