  1. We’re glad that our videos can create that level of excitement. Next uploads will be Tuesday and Friday.
  2. Act II begins with an attack over Atollon. Strategy Session: First Battle:
  3. I for one am jealous as this sounds like a lot of fun. Perhaps add some Battle Reports?
  4. @Triangular You're welcome? 😃 It was not our intent to sow discord on the forums. Again both John and I had a good discussion before playing and we decided to play it the way we did. I personally believe that the objective should have the exogorths placed off of two different asteroid field obstacles. That would keep with the thematic approach anyways.
  5. where did you get those stands? They look like 12 position stands great for other games such as Full Thrust and Battlestar Galactica Starship Battles...
  6. So I am going to agree that the rules as intended likely means that an exogorth cannot be placed off another exogorth. Rules as written does seem to allow this as an exogorth is an obstacle. However, we (John and I) did talk about this prior to filming our episode and discussed it at length. As we both agreed it was allowable under Rules as Written, therefore we played in that fashion. I would recommend discussing this with any opponent before the start of the game though. I can see this causing issues. I am glad to see this being discussed though. It would be nice for some clarification in the next FAQ one way or the other.
  7. player678037, we are not done with the campaign, at least not yet. With the release of Wave 8, we simply decided to get those videos out first. The second act of our campaign will be released next week (Feb 21st - 28th). It is too early to tell if we will be releasing the next video for the RitR campaign on March 7th... Although it is rather lopsided with the Rebels keeping the Empire at bay, we will be completing it through the final climatic battle. Perhaps the next time we run through the campaign, I will fare better. We will be running the campaign again, with opposite forces (John as Imperials and me as the Rebellion). Thank you for your continued interest and support of our channel, we're glad that you are enjoying our campaign videos!
  8. We try out the new wave 8 ships. John plays Agate on a Starhawk, while Ken tries out an Onager commanded by Screed. We had technical difficulty with our first try at episode 8 and had to redo it.
  9. On Resource Points: As you have bases on both Corellia and the Saberhing Asteroid Field; you would gain 50 points (25 per base) plus their combined resource value of 36 (20 for Corellia and 16 for Saberhing). This would add 86 points to the Empire's pool, and would be split between your two fleets (43 each). Your Romodi force could build a new base on Polanis for 15 points. Once you have decided on bases; you can repair and refit your fleets. In the case of Romodi, you will gain 30 "refit" points plus 10 more from the two repair yards (5 each). You could unscar one of your Arquitens and a Gozanti Cruiser (spending 2 resource points in addition to your "refit" points). This would leave you with 41 points to add upgrades. Perhaps you could get a few squadrons as a fighter screen. Regarding tournament rules under the introduction section of the tournament regulations - "Tournaments are played using the rules provided in the most recent Star Wars: Armada Rules Reference and FAQ, "... "Additional rules for playing games in a tournament are detailed in this document." The only place in which flotillas are limited to two is in the tournament rules.
  10. @Draconis80 - As an example, here is a 500 point Sloane list that I removed upgrades for to get it to a starting fleet for Corellian Conflict. Items with a * are not in the initial 400 point build. You will start at 400 with 107 points of squadrons. Imperial II (120) • Admiral Sloane (24) * • Gunnery Team (7) * • Electronic Countermeasures (7) • Leading Shots (4) • XI7 Turbolasers (6) • Avenger (5) = 173 Points Quasar Fire I (54) • Captain Brunson (5) • Flight Controllers (6) * • Boosted Comms (4) • Expanded Hangar Bay (5) = 74 Points Gozanti Cruisers (23) • Comms Net (2) * • Reserve Hangar Deck (3) = 28 Points Gozanti Cruisers (23) • Slicer Tools (7) * • Reserve Hangar Deck (3) = 33 Points Gozanti Cruisers (23) • Bomber Command Center (8) • Suppressor (4) * = 35 Points Squadrons: • Howlrunner (16) * • Ciena Ree (17) • Soontir Fel (18) * • TIE Advanced Squadron (12) * • Maarek Stele (21) * • Colonel Jendon (20) * • Dengar (20) * • 3 x TIE Interceptor Squadron (33) = 157 Points Total Points: 500 Note that you have 3 Gozanti cruisers - The limit of 2 is specific to tournament play. You could swap out a Gladiator I for two or three of the Gozantis.
  11. Enjoy the campaign. It is a lot of fun for two players - just make sure you go back and switch sides for good measure. Let us know how it goes, we would love to hear about your experiences.
  12. We try out the new Wave 8 ships. John plays Raddus and the Starhawk, while Ken tries out an Onager commanded by Moff Tarkin.
  13. Last episode of January. John brings a list inspired by Kirill Leyko (Dual MC80 Liberty) against Ken’s Thrawn fleet.
  14. Tonight in ION Radio, John brings a dual MC80 Libery list inspired by Kirill Leuko against a Thrawn fleet Ken will be evolving over the next few episodes
  15. Cpt ObVis, my understanding is that you can play all three pivotal battles as Conquest. This is how we are playing in the campaigns I am involved in.
  16. Corellian Conflict has ships that can be destroyed. The key is to secure Repair Yards systems. If you can destroy Rebel ships, you may wind up winning quickly. To that end consider an ISD fleet with an Interdictor for some heavy hitting and prevention of Rebel escape. I found that building a fleet to 500 points and working backwards to sub 400 made it easier to figure out where you want to go. Sloane may be a good option vs the opposing Sato fleet.
  17. Smokedgouda, in the campaign we are running we have concluded something similar. We are in fact NOT removing the condition intentionally for the reasons you list. Another thought we had was that conditions could be a forced removal (assuming you have the tokens to remove it). I like the idea of gaining multiple conditions though. If you do add multiple conditions I would be very curious to see how that works for your group.
  18. This week, on ION Radio. John brings Y-wings and Dodonna and Ken tries a new tactic with Leia.
  19. I believe this Friday’s video will include at least 2 MC30s.
  20. @GenCurtisLemay, in our store game, I have one of my generals that is flying 2 MC30s. If we had decided for me to play Rebels for this video campaign, one fleet was 3 MC30s.
  21. @Triangular, don't be too sad. Poor dice rolling, aggressive tactics and John pulling a "Thrawn" on me are all contributing to my losses. Having said that, we play quite a few games outside of what we film, and I tend to do significantly better. There was a battle in which I brought 8 or 9 Z-95 Squadrons and won an 8-3 victory shutting down his normal fighter shenanigans. We also each quarterbacked a pivotal battle at our FLGS (I was Rebels and John Imperials) and it was very close until the final round. There was a point that I almost decided to turn all my ships and outrun them for the rest of the game to score a victory. In our campaign the score after Act I is 6-4 Imperials. I worked the bugs out of the strategy and even thought we lost the Pivotal battle, we gained rewards, the Empire gained a diplomat and 1 campaign point. If absolutely nothing else, I am improving my overall gameplay and would do things quite different when we do this again. Thank you for the kind thoughts... wait for the Onager. >:-)
