  1. Answered in latest RR update. [1] reshuffle cards from destroyed ships. [2] if still insufficient, mark existing face-down damage on ships with tokens or whatever, then reshuffle the damage cards. // This does open up a question on what to do if an opponent exposes a damage card on a ship which has had it's cards replaced by tokens. The simple solution: if it happens, replace one token with a card out of the deck and expose that card. If it's Thane, replace them all.
  2. Several questions answered. Big winners: TIE Bombers and Deathrain Punisher. Kad Bane might have something to say, too.
  3. Anyhow, does the Delta nerf put a fork in all of the "Defenders should be under 66 points but two ** limited" discussions? Seems kinda hard to make that case if FFG/AMG think the Defender should be more expensive.
  4. Anyhow, there was a revised passage in the FAQ on this. Takeaway: choosing to attack with a Lock-based missile with only one locked target puts any range or closest valid stuff out the window: the only valid terget is the locked one.
  5. Highlights: Dormitz hard errata to prevent forward-deploy of Large/Medium ships Jam Buff (up to Range 2 in Bullseye) Rhymer works like he always worked (he can attack at Range 0) Automated Targeting Protocol works like they always worked with Attack {Lock} restrictions (closest valid is always going to use weapon first)
  6. Also, Jam Buff. Up to Range 2 in bullseye, which is nice but not that huge.
  7. Hyperspace Proton Rockets, tho. Our new 4A overlords?
  8. Oh hey. 4x 7B Jedi Knights is now HS legal, with 4 points of wiggle room.
  9. Plus Predator for passive rerolls. And here I was thinking FFG was actually making folks make hard choices with Force Users.
  10. Rebels Hyperspace is odd. B-Wings, Y-Wings, A-Wings, and all non-Saw's X-Wings are all flagged as HS legal, not the "Limited or Generic" split that just about every other ship got. Typo? Intentional?
  11. Yeah, but I guess my point is that any ship where the pilots could reasonably be called "aces" has only generic pilots. Didn't Aces get defined a few pages back? Someone should scroll up and check.
  12. Imperials lost every ace. That's interesting.
  13. Say, they just nerfed the TIE Defender. Someone will say "They got buffed!" but no, the Delta was nerfed and that was the only pilot that mattered. Does this put a fork in "Defenders should have be 2 ** Limited and under 66 points?"
  14. With Tracking, but Dormitz got a hard-errata to small-base only. Like he always should have had.
  15. You misspelled Hera Syndulla. Wedge is "Most Improved Pilot In the Galaxy" tho. Because Hera was teaching him.
  16. They could always R5, tho. Maybe that action is too hard to spare, but with Predator and Force for passive mods now... that might be a lot more reasonable. Force points and regular talents being siloed away from each other was one of the GREAT ideas of early 2e. I didn't think baby Anakin should have had it. And now... ungh.
  17. Without locks. They won't be able to actually *SHOOT* the Plasma Torpedoes in most games, since their maneuvers are so predictable. 32 Bravo still keeps them out of Passive Sensors + Plasmas, and maybe 35 for Handmaidens. But I bet even 31 Bravos for 40 point Passive/Plasma doesn't make a splash.
  18. Afterburners is now Initiative scaled. Not sure if anyone mentioned this yet. I0-3: 4 points. I4: 5 points. I5: 6 points. I6: 7 points. Seems fair. I like that it doesn't go below 4 on the lower init pilots. // *edit* Silly TIE/sf squad: 5x Zetas with Passive Sensors, Ion Missiles, Afterburners.
  19. It's a really bad bargain these days. Bonus action on speed 3+ moves is roughly equivalent to a bonus red action like an RZ-1 or TIE/v1. I'd have loved to see the generic drop a point or two, as well as the Handmaiden. They don't have talents, so there isn't a Juke threat, and after the R2 Astro nerf, they aren't a points nightmare, either.
  20. LAAT in the game isn't necessarily the same thing as a LAAT in the list. I bet a lot of early guesses at ETA lists were bringing a LAAT since they figured they needed easy rerolls. Now, Predator is an option, so maybe they bring an extra ETA, or an ARC or whatever. Something that's more of a direct threat, rather than a buff ship.
  21. They made the Target Lock on ETA purple. But then they gave them Predator.
