Unless it says 'exhaust' to 'use' then fast abilities can be used (if paid for) multiple times.  You can burn through as many resources as you want pumping skills via hyperawareness.

You don't have to travel to them, the condition is that one of those locations needs to be in the victory display.  So if you accomplished that in Act 1 then you are actually ahead of the curve, not locked out

I was able to demo once at the con.  This is something our demo guy said.  "AH 3e takes good stuff from AH 2e and combines it with good stuff from the LCG to make a completely new experience.  AH 3e doesn't invalidate or replace 2e and it is a whole new way to experience Arkham."  Admittedly I only have about 20 minutes exposure, but the game play mechanics and structure was familiar, fresh and fun.  At first glance I didn't like the hub style board pieces, but after playing with them and seeing how they work I reversed my opinion.  Having the neighborhood hub tile design allows for expansions to 'connect' with the base game instead of being abstract side boards.  There is also a campaign/story as part of the experience, but the demo didn't really have time to get into it.  Based on what little I have played and what I have seen/read, this appears to be a pretty amazing game.

Legacy games are on the rise - which got me thinking how great a legacy Arkham Horror would be!? What would essentially be Third Edition would have loads of potential...
Locations could be permanently destroyed - new locations could be opened/built Undefeated Epic monsters could stalk investigators between sessions Investigators could be permanently killed or driven insane making them un-selectable on future scenarios (they could even come back as elite enemies) with more investigators travelling to arkham via unlockable objectives.  Expansions could add post-game content allowing for future scenarios beyond “core story” Ancient Ones could have a “revenge” variant making them more aggressive if they reappear in a later scenario if they were previously defeated FFG could even lead the genre by removing the biggest complaint about legacy games - stickers! Any components that would be stickers could be used with magnetised tiles - allowing to reset the board at the end of a campaign (im talking thin and flexible magnet material just like some fridge magnets - so boards can still fold up between sessions)
Alot of ground work has been laid in AH:TCG and in the upcoming EH:Masks expansion next year - its all about making the leap into this genre which is about to take off and FFG leading innovation in it.
Also the name “Arkham Legacy” just sends goosebumps all over, no?

I am reading the story now and it actually is well written and thought out.  As someone else mentioned above, the RPG angle of this game is something I am glad that they are exploring/expanding.  For international (non USA) gamers the shipping is stupidly expensive.  There is no getting around that.

The book was pretty well written, and gives quite a bit of background to Jenny as well insight into the town of Arkham. Lots of potential new cards for the game.

A few of us are organizing an 'Iron-man Dunwich' run on Saturday.  The plan is to have groups of 4 investigators complete the entire campaign in one sitting with bathroom/stretch/food breaks allowed.
So far we have three full groups and a 4th group forming.  Would love to have more people join in the fun.  We are discussing details and organizing primarily through the Mythos Busters discord server in the #iconman-dunwich channel.
Let me know if interested and I can send you the details.

Even better, we'll be able to buy the new MoM2E expansion a month early... and we have confirmation of new expansions for both Elder Sign and Eldritch Horror!  I can't wait.

The swag looks awesome and Richard Launius will be there! I'm feeling much better about things now. I definitely feel like the stuff we get makes the higher price tag worth it.

The short answer is we don't know for sure.  Probably won't be fully sorted out until mid to late June but no one really knows for sure.

It is being removed because the corresponding card is no longer in play.  Although the card remove is from the opponent the card being removed is the trigger for the die to be removed.  I think the die does come out.

I posted this over on BGG, but thought I'd start it up here just in case anyone was interested.

As a disclaimer, I do NOT recommend doing this. I am, and I can tell you it is an unnecessary financial dump. However, I'm an avid Arkham collector from the fantasy flight line (took two days just sleeving every single card from the entire original Arkham Horror line.) and I just like the idea of having everything pull and go for this game. Anyway, I'll try to keep this list updated as packs come out.

Currently to build every single scenario without breaking any apart for encounter cards you need:

4 Core sets (already out striking fear and ancient evils, only have 1 set of multiple others)
3 Dunwich Legacy (out of The Beyond)
    1 of every mythos pack

I'm very thankful that the POD scenarios are self contained, because if anything else started pulling from the core, I'd go crazy.

Another option is to proxy cards as needed.  Some of the cards will be in high demand so it is good to have more than 1/2 of them.  Some of the ally cards in the core box for example.  Having only 1 Leo or 1 Beat Cop can really slow things down.
