I just bought the Onager and am looking forward to using it. The thought process here is that the Onager stays back while the two kittens harass/finish off enemy ships in and around the asteroid field. The raider focuses on fighters and the gozanti provides support.

I would replace Redundant Shields with Electronic Countermeasures or Early Warning System. Redundant Shields relies on you getting shot first in order for it to be useful, so I always go with something that helps when I'm getting shot. Both ECM and EWS will make your ship more tanky.

One thing to consider for your Onager is to change the superweapon. Unless you're trying for the long range shot, the Orbital Bombardment Particle Cannons can be easily countered by your opponent by simply spreading out.

Thank you for the input, I will definitely make a few changes based off of it. I had a feeling overload pulse and Avenger was a combo to good to be true.

Thanks for the input. I like your idea for the Arquitens, it's a potential for eight dice per turn instead of six and I can get the same effect with Montferrat as I can with the Early Warning System. I do think I'm going to leave the Raider the way it is though, it's purpose for being there is anti-squadron and I don't want to be lacking in that aspect of the game.
