  1. Fickle, I like your idea. I think that it could be a "T-65B" title. So I made this:
    T-65B X-wing
Rebel Alliance only. X-wing only. Title.
At the start of Combat phase, if there is an enemy ship inside your firing arc at Range 1-3, you may assign an evade token to your ship.
    Cost: 0

    T-65C-A2 X-wing
Rebel Alliance only. X-wing only. Title.
You may treat your 3-speed [straight] manuver as a green maneuver. When you reveal [koigran] manuver, you may increase or decrease your speed by one.
    Cost: 0

These titles are compatability with HotAC and could give the X-wing a kick.

While S-foils are the obvious target for a card representation (I've gone there too), and we've seen Poe close them in a fight, and we have the U-Wing's pivot wing card (hey, shouldn't the Lambda shuttle get one of those too? - same principle), I really don't think that's the way to go.  When in combat, X-Wings lock their S-foils open and leave them there.  With fairly standard attacks, the X-Wing needs to be shooting a lot and any boosts or barrel rolls really need to facilitate that.  Giving yourself a weapons disabled token without a bomb or some other way of dealing damage is just hurting yourself I think.

What might not have been explored enough (though this could apply to all ships, generally - and S-foils should apply to B-Wings as well, btw) is energy transfer.  Something like Miranda Doni's ability maybe as a condition card (unless I'm mistaken about how they work - haven't read much on them yet).  You'd choose lasers->shields, shields->lasers, lasers->engines, shields->engines, engines->shields, engines->lasers at the beginning of the combat phase or after executing a maneuver and reduce the one stat by one and increase the other by one (attack, shields, agility) for the round.

And for the record, lasers on the wingtips are a really bad idea.  Y-wing and TIE Fighter (and similar ship) laser placement is ideal.  B-Wing laser placement is one of the worst along with Arc-170.

Lasers on wingtips can work, they aren't parallel to each other so that all of the lasers meet at one point.

I made a minor change to your wording as "instead of 1" is redundant with "up to 2 different" mainly to free up space as that's a lot of text to squeeze on one card. And you'll notice that I used the full waterfall image, because I'm awesome.

  4. This is what I was thinking:

    goo.gl/71xHdl
    Alliance Veteran
Rebel Alliance only. X-wing only. Title.
If you do not have the <elite> icon, your upgrade bar gains the <elite> icon or you may equip up to 2 different Modification upgrades (instead of 1). At least 1 of your Modification upgrades must cost 0 squad points.
You cannot equip this card if your pilot skill value is "2" or lower.

    goo.gl/ejEupi
    Alliance Ace
Rebel Alliance only. X-wing only. Title.
If you have <elite> icon, you may equip up to 2 different Modification upgrades (instead of 1). At least 1 of your Modification upgrades must cost 0 squad points.
You cannot equip this card if your pilot skill value is "4" or lower.

The links are the art for the card.

    Changing gears, just slightly.

Let's look at total numbers of different pilot cards, by ship, for the Rebels and Imps (I don't care about Scum for right now).

TIE/ln: 13. Iconic. Cool. Most prolific fighter of either side.

TIE/in: 10. Also iconic and cool. Should be 2nd most common TIE, to my mind.

T-65 X-wing: 10. I'd say we could use *at least* 2 more pilots. Could be same or more than TIE/ln, just because it's the good guys

TIE/ad: 8. A bit much, should be most rare TIE.

    TIE/sa: 7. Cool. I like it.

TIE/D: 7. Also looks very cool. This is supposed to be rare, too. Likely less rare than the TIE/ad, though.

B-wing: 6. Seems good. Should be the most rare Rebel fighter.

A-wing: 6. 3rd most common Rebel, but still rare. Could argue for 1-2 more pilots.

Y-wing: 4. Unacceptably low. The most common Rebel fighter (by numbers used). Should have a crew option without losing turret (BTL-S3). Half of Y-wings used should be this model. We need at least 4 more pilots here, probably.

Z-95: 4. Probably fine. Outdated model, only used by the desperate or old-timers. Could make a case for seeing Han in one...

    Assault Gunboat: 0. Wanted desperately!

N-1 Naboo Starfighter: 0. Needed desperately!

Listen kid, the T-65 was last years model.  Either pony up for a new and shiny T-70 or go to Tochi Station to pick up some power converters for your out-of-date T-65.  Either way, you're flying an X-Wing.

I already have 2. But they don't feel the same.

What is the difference between Aturi Cluster X-wings and Regular X-wings?

In the Rebel Alliance, the X-wings are given modifications and their pilots recieve training and gain experience all the time. That is what makes the Aturi Cluster X-wing special. You get to treat it as if your in the Rebellion allowed to have mechanics do what ever you want with your ship like the movies.

  7. I've heard people say that they think that the X-wing is the best ship to use in HotAC because of its high versatility. So...make an X-wing fix that makes the X-wing more like it is in Aturi Cluster. I was thinking of an upgrade that gives you the choice to either an Elite Pilot Talent if you don't have one or an additional Modification. That should probably say that you cannot equip the card if your pilot skill is 2 or less.

Also to balance it out for the non-uniques, you could make a "stock model" upgrade that says you cannot equip Modifications and give it a cost of -1 so you could either field 4 Rookie Pilots with Proton Torpedoes and a 1 pt Astromech at 100 pts or 5 Rookie Pilots without upgrades at 100 pts. That upgrade would not have a pilot skill restriction.

Any thoughts? If anyone likes this can they make cards for me?

  8. Darth Vader carried the movie for me. I hoped we would see just a little bit of Darth Vader and that he would show us why he is so feared. Both of those hopes were met.

The rest of the film was ... alright, I guess? No, it was good, but I wasn't sitting there with a stupid grin on my face for the whole movie like I was when I saw The Force Awakens. Now, I do think TFA had more problems than Rogue One. Indeed, I can say that Rogue One is the better Star Wars movie. But I just had more fun watching TFA.

If Darth Vader hadn't had his two scenes in this movie, I would have ranked this move worse than Revenge of the Sith and maybe even worse than Attack of the Clones. Maybe my opinion will change when I see it again.

EDIT: On another note, I wondered the whole movie whether the kyber crystal around Jyn's neck would somehow become the one used in Luke's RotJ lightsaber. We usually expect a green crystal for a green blade, but I'm not sure that is canon at the moment, so I thought that might be a possibility. But the way the movie ended, that's not the case. (And yes, I know in the old canon Luke built a synthetic lightsaber crystal in Obi-Wan's hut.)

Nothing gets worse the Attack of the Clones.
