  1. That makes sense. Otherwise be in line with other "attack" abilities it would have to apply to both attacks. Then it's a little too good with TLT if you're spending a shield token. And thematically she's adjusting the power output a bumping up a missile doesn't make sense.
  2. Anyone know of upcoming local tournaments or events in the metro Detroit area this March/April? I'm currently in-between leagues and hoping to find a night or weekend where I can get in a few games. I'm not too far from Garden City (Pandemonium), Livonia (R.I.W.), Wixom (Flat Land Games), Ypsilanti, or Plymouth.
  3. I just introduced 2 friends to the Heroes of the Aturi Cluster campaign. They've never played the full game before. One immediately asked how much the core set costs, saying "that's the most fun I've ever had while getting my a** kicked".
  4. Plus, Ryad and Omega Leader really like to have 'free' target locks so they can use their actions for other things.
  5. That's a nice combo, though for some reason it still feels limiting to me - mainly if you want the double-bump (2 evades --> 2 dice).
  6. 4LOM and Zuckuss can be fun, especially with FCS and the Mist Hunter title. Look on YouTube also, there was recently a regional event won by a list with 3 Gand Findsmen.

The problem I see is that you're stealing evade tokens from ships that really need them to survive (Inquisitor) or have to lose an action (via red maneuver which may not be optimal - Bren) to get that evade. I'd rather throw in a couple Epsilon Squadron pilots with Comm Relay and some sort of support ship to feed TL/focus to Omega Ace. Maybe even an Omega Squadron flown in formation with Draw Their Fire to help OA stay alive a bit longer, as he'll be a huge target.
  8. Vessery can make good use of the TL generated by FCS.
  9. Set up as far away as possible and force him to split up going through the asteroids (you should take those rather than debris so he doesn't just fly over them). Focus down one and he loses a big part of his list's firepower. "Turtle up" with multiple defense tokens (if possible) if you see a ship being targeted.
  10. I would add "against another valid target within range 1 of the defender" or something similar. More punch, not too crazy as an alpha strike as both on one, and you don't get to double down on mods (focus, guidance chips, etc.).
  11. Imperials have lots of green dice, Evades, and Comm Relay on some ships. Unless they did a one-off (like Miranda), regeneration would be super powerful. Imagine it on Vader, or Ryad.
  12. I've been wanting to slot in 2 Omega Squadron Specialists (SF) with Snap Shot and FCS to get locks before the first turn of firing, but haven't settled on the rest of the list.
  13. Does anyone know how quickly this fills up? I'll be out of town with limited Internet until the 9th of November.
  14. Rage + Baffle seems to be more popular. However, I've run her with just Title + GCS + Sensor Cluster + EPT of your choice, alongside Backdraft and Inquisitor. Wasn't perhaps Tier 1 but it felt solid.
  15. I'll miss this... out of town the next couple weekends (but vacation is nice too). SEE Michigan seems pretty quiet right now.
  16. TIE/Adv version synergizes perfectly with his pilot ability and Advanced Targeting Computer - and with more points to use somewhere else. I've pulled 3 crits in one round against a Large ship and it was totally worth it. He can draw fire, but has that nice Evade in his Action Bar.

  18. The Punisher and K-wing have similar problems. You don't get enough value out of the points you have to put into them. If you load them up with ordnance, they die before firing all of it. If you go light on ordnance, them you may as well field a Bomber or Y-wing for fewer points. That said, I ran Redline regularly before Guidance Chips were released. He was/is... okay to mediocre and you can run him in casual to semi-competetive play. He'll get murdered by so many things though: U-boats, Aces, TLTs, swarms, etc. He's good at piling some damage onto one ship (preferably large with low agility) then basically dying. And I still like him.
  19. TIE Shuttle with Fleet Officer and/or Systems Officer will show up. Makes Jonus even better support. I could see Tactician there too as well as Intelligence Agent.
  20. I want to run Jonus with Fleet Officer + Wired (and maybe another TBD crew) alongside some combination of Defender and Bomber.
  21. I may try to get there, but it's a very busy time of year (between two big vacations).
