For almost five years now - ever since Armada was announced - this forum has been my most-visited website and has always been the first bookmark I set when installing a new phone.
Here's me hoping for a new forum for us to assemble.

BGG looks hideous.

I don't want to rain on anyone's parade and I've posted on BGG and use it as a resource myself, but it's one ugly and difficult to navigate website (especially on mobile). I understand people wanting to organize an exodus to somewhere, but there have got to be better options than BGG. Even the subreddit is much better than BGG.

I gave bgg a look and don’t think it’s the right fit for me.  I’m hoping amg does the right thing and opens up a forum for exactly like this one (and hope that they will participate more in the conversation as well)

I also feel bad for us, the players. 
We have absolutely no idea what AMG intends to do going forward. 
Do they even intend to keep Armada, X-wing and Legion?

So it is end. Thx for all community you get me. My emploee agreement forbid me of use of any social media. Forum was my only window for community. Many of you use FB, discord and other social media, I dont expect anyone will move to new game owner forum.

It's very easy to:
Use software like HTTrack to dl and preserve the entire old FFG forum (or a specific sub-forum). EDIT: DL speed is ATROCIOUS. Set up an independent forum. My big question is: how many would use such a forum?
What would really be awesomesauce: if FFG downloaded the forum db and handed it over. Then we could actually rebuild the forum elsewhere.

not bad everyone. 

In my opinion raid become more important in ready by token use era. Las saturday we run 300p tournament. I played twice vs Dooku. Only thanks to my opponents lack of experience with him and knowleadge how to fight 6 activation list I managed to get to the second place. Both times they focused on dissallowing me to grab some victory tokens (only one turn as I own engineering tokens) and not blocking my main issue wich was navigation. 
If my opponents will focus on stoping me in track by useing Dooku raid to stop navigation they will clear my fleet in turn 4th both times.

I think we should wait to see how Dooku and the increase in token needs plays out before drawing any conclusions... 😉

This is an exception. Please do not be put off by it - the game is great, and generally the releases are of fairly high quality. There is a large amount of time between releases, but that isn't really an issue with the game, nor does the quality of the experience depend on quick releases. You can argue over nuances of balance, but the game as a whole is very nicely balanced with few if any ships, and very few cards, not ever being played.
 
I would highly recommend getting into it if you can.
