  1. This those points limits raddus isn't that good a choice, it is still only 1 or 2 ships, go for admirals that scale well. Or you could try getting Konstantine to work with all the victories and interdictors in the world...
  2. Never tell me the odds... Without stating your underlying assumptions.
  3. Arriving Thursday around at the expo Friday.
  4. It's a fair point it depends on if he's played with bail but he does give an extra threat.
  5. What he said, i might go EWS over ECM on the 75 but that is a trivky choice. Your other option is bail on the 75.
  6. The exception being the de Havilland Mosquito, which has film all to itself in 633 squadron. Speaking of which the TIE/rb actually reminds me of the Mosquito FB Mk XVIII which had a 6 pound (57 mm) anti tank cannon fitted. Designed to target U-boats it was highly effective, so this isn't as stupid a concept as it might seem. It also looks like the gun mount could rotate, which would be very sensible as it helps with a ground attack role.
  7. Ah back in the day... You can do it, and a demo Glad II with ruthless strategist is surprisingly effective if you have some high hull squads to throw in. But honestly you will have the gozanti anyway in an MSU so you might as well give them a job to do.
  8. After 4 rounds with 72 players 5 people could have perfect 10-1 records. 5 rounds in a day is hard but entirely achievable. I can understand why they don't want to do it over 3 days to increase participation, but I did like the extra games last year.
  9. They aren't very common but they can be a lot of fun when you build them right, you do have to nav till the end of time mind. As for raddus, with engine techs a large base they could make for an interesting delivery system. Why do you think the death Star shot it first?..
  10. I'd try and find the 2 points for the boarding engineers on Garel's Honour, it's a one trick pony but they make the trick a lot more deadly to anything with 4 hull...
  11. Unless you dodge out the way. ;-) As the person who beat it, the list is well put togther. While I had a superior squadron ball, engaging under all that flak is a fools errand. Rather I chipped at the flanking transport trying to apply pressure, as gink committing to the fight would pull the squads from the mc80. In the end it came down to a good manoeuvre or two and some luck.
  12. Brandon came all the way from Canada to get revenge for worlds... Liberty a (381/400) ================== MC80 Star Cruiser (96 + 56) + General Dodonna (20) + Intel Officer (7) + Veteran Gunners (5) + SW-7 Ion Batteries (5) + Engine Techs (8) + XI7 Turbolasers (6) + XX-9 Turbolasers (5) Hammerhead Torpedo Corvette (36 + 9) + Boarding Engineers (2) + External Racks (3) + Garel's Honor (4) GR-75 Medium Transports (18 + 2) + Comms Net (2) Jan Ors (19) GR-75 Medium Transports (18) GR-75 Medium Transports (18) GR-75 Medium Transports (18) Shara Bey (17) 2 x VCX-100 Freighter (15) 4 x A-wing Squadron (11)
  13. Thank you very much, I definitely owe you a drink. Are you bringing all the b-wings?
  14. On the off chance does anyone have a spare vcx card I could borrow? I've left mine at home...
  15. Oh how it comes flooding back, staggering back to my hotel room in a daze. I expect we are going to see 40 to 45 people, it really depends on what they want to do, there is a lot of flexibility in the actual structure of events, as quite a few don't follow the layout in the regulations.
