I think the keywords there are "unauthorized" and "incorrect" (mostly).

I recently picked up a bundle with Dark Forces all the way up to JKII. For some reason, I went straight to JK (skipped Dark Forces even though that was the main reason I bought the pack as I never played the original), but Dark Forces 2 just brought back a lot of memories, that first level that dropped you straight into "star wars mode", the cheesy CGI which I loved and hoped they had kept it when moving to Jedi Knight 2...Getting that lightsaber (even though it looks oddly disproportional to your character, but maybe it's just me.) I felt all fuzzy inside when reading this...Brilliant!

For some reason, that TIE looks oddly familiar... Was it in the old Star Wars Rebellion game or something? Looks really familiar... Still interesting... The new "wing" looks like something out of Wipeout, though.

Wow, it is a neat little tool to try out squads and just get a feel for it...For some reason, both me and the AI isn't being allowed to carry out attacks, even in cases where we can clearly see it's in range...but anyway, it's something else!

Warboar Spring Kit - TAPdancing with Vader
bahourmat replied to Pity's topic in X-Wing Battle Reports
Fellow Warboar regular here! Great report and your list seems really fun to fly with, actually... I just missed the Spring Tournament but will be taking part in the Regional, as my first tournament experience (I've only started playing recently), so definitely going to be an interesting experience. I have no illusions as to how it'll pan out, especially since I'm thinking of sticking to my Interceptor Aces list (or alternatively a Vader/Inquisitor/Omega Leader, depending on how much practice I can get until the 21st. It does seem like Jumpmasters are pretty much everywhere now (especially taking into account the "local" meta), and I can't say I've been that much succesful against them in the few games I had until now.. Oh well. Might be we see each other in the Regional. -
Hi there, This is my second post, after registering with the forum (have been lurking in the shadows for some time now I'm still a relatively new player (about 1-2 months of more or less regular playing at the local store) but I figured it would be worth to jump into organized play as soon as I had the chance, mainly for the additional experience and the chance to pick at at the brains of more experienced players. After missing the local game store tournament, I've gone ahead and registered for a Regionals, coming on the 21st May. As I've mainly played with Imperials and, more specifically, have a soft spot for Interceptors, I've stubbornly kept a couple of interceptor-only lists and although they are quite unforgiving, I've kept at it and am (I think...) finally getting a bit better at flying them. This is what I wanted to try out: Soontir Fel - Push the Limit, Royal Guard TIE, Autothrusters, Stealth Device (35pts) Carnor Jax - Push the Limit, Royal Guard TIE, Autothrusters, Stealth Device (34pts) Turr Phenir - Veteran Instincts, Royal Guard TIE, Autothrusters, Stealth Device (31 pts) Total Points: 100 My idea would be to try and keep Turr and Carnor as a squad of their own to try and inflict some damage, while keeping Soontir running flank and zipping in and out as the needs required it. I guess I'll be bound to face a wide variety of lists and what I'm most dreading is to go up against the current "whales" (like Ghost or the Decimators) and just being drawn into "attrition" skirmishes where Interceptors are bound to get, eventually, beaten. I basically wanted to get some feedback and/or advice on this particular list. Although I've now got a fairly good basic collection that I can piece together a variety of different lists from, I don't think a tournament would be the best place to experiment with new stuff, so I think I'm gonna stick with this and try to fly as much as possible these next two weeks. Anyway, feel free to chip in and offer your two cents.
