For the Toulouse Regional (South of France, january 7-8), the results I remenber from this Weekend :

Yeap. 8/9 Fenn+Teroch+... (Partybus or Manaroo) list during the event with 0 attani version. Only 1 other player came with a paratanni list : he made it to pass on day 2 but not in the top8.

Can we submit alternative official FFG cards ? I mean, some people submitted Horton Salm with an EPT during the season 1. So, can we add existing pilot with an added EPT or a modified restriction on existing card during this season ?
Like Arvel Crynyd with an EPT slot in a Awing Aces pack or an integrated astromech with the "X-wing or E-wing only." -

-Stolen Identity: Make sure that it is clear that you must indicate which pilot's identity you have stolen during list building (prevent last minute changes to the identity stolen)
-Advanced scrambler: Indicate what happens when someone tries to acquire a TL on your ship while you have a red TL token already. Can they switch the TL? Are they unable to acquire a TL at all?Stolen Identity > Maybe swapping the word "choose" by "associate" could be enough...

Just wondering. On the submission form, what does it mean by "Attach Files used to generate images?" Just need to know 'cause I just used Paint.
He means the file from your strangeEons (or the card editor you use) if the comitee want to ajust the wording or the cost of a card. Strange Eons is avaible >>here<< for free if you need.

After watching the wording on Omega Leader, I will go on :
When an enemy ship that you have locked is defending, at the start of the 'Compare Results' step, you may remove your target lock from that ship to cancel 1 of its [evade] results.It is a really neat ability and I like, though it is, essentially, a crackshot that can be used multiple times a turn, so it is likely to be too strong.
I can reajust the cost at 34pts. Fully stuffed, it's still a 40/45-ish points starfighter with 5hp...

Lately, I putting the text of my Recon Probot in a System Dual Card of my A-type Stiletto. So i may swap it for a different upgrade to avoid a repetition.
I want some feedback to know if a negative costed astromech with a drawback effect could be a reasonable choice (you know, to put the rookie pilot of the T-65 at 20pts ...).

You can add all the missing ships from the FFG Roleplaying games. We know FFG loves to recycle their assets and stuffs so the ships from Edge of Empire, Force & Destiny and Age of Rebellion are strong candidates for futures X-wing miniatures.

The Havoc is in Star Wars Armada so it should be in X wing as well. I simply cant see why not as every single other ship in armada, small ship, is in x wing.
They will put it in Xwing sooner or later, but the real question is more "The scurrg will be a Scum or a Rebel ship ? (or both ^^)"

Does this include the name of a card in the rules text of a custom card? (example: 'You cannot equip "autothrusters"')No, it's only forbidden to copy/past an ability or a card which already exist. You can quote other cards (like on the Myst Hunter Title)
for exemple :
Juno eclipse ability is
"When you reveal your manoeuvre, you may increase or decrease its speed by 1 (to a minimum of 1)."
I cannot put this ability as a firespray-31 modification/title but I can toying with this mechanic and submit a card which say :
"When you reveal a turn manoeuvre, you may increase or decrease its speed up to 2 (in a range between 1 to 3)."
Am I correct Babaganoosh ? I also have a question about this restriction : can we use a condition card which already exist ? (like a Darth Maul pilot who deal "I'll show you the dark side" if he perform an attack who doesn't hit)

You not have to create a scyk ace part. You can submit a 1-ship Ace pack if you want.

The problem with named pilots without EPT is the tuning space you remove from them. Why Emon Azzameen Latts Razzi or Moralo Eval can be "OK." and in the other side Graz or Hobbie are in the "not so good pilot" case ? Because when you put a named pilot without EPT on a YV-666, you only lost 10% of the customization space comparing to his counterpart with an EPT (Bossk). For the special K or the T-65, you lost 25% of that space and generally the ability of the non-EPT pilot doesn't compensate enough (it's often a lack of Versatility). for exemple, compared "Night Beast" to a Black'crack.

i think discarding opponent upgrades as a whole should be avoided. Boba crew caused enough of a stir and the only reason he isnt abused is because scum have a heavily restricted crew slot selection and only 1-2 crew that are actually garbage to put in that slot out of what a dozen? Even still, boba sometimes sneaks in.
I would just change the ability to something else entirely
Sooo... If I swap the discard mechanics for something else, I have already 3 others ways to go. The firsts two get synergy with the chromium coating, and the third is a more control-oriented option. I prefer the last choice but maybe it needs a rewording to be clear.

The only thing i might suggest changing is the Chromium coating. You are relying on having a focus token at the end of a combat phase, and then you have to have a TL on you. I would suggest making it automatic, and maybe changing it to cost 2 points.
So, maybe this:
At the end of the combat phase, you may remove one enemy target lock from your ship.
I'm not a big fan of automatic mechanics. Maybe I will adjust the price of somes pilots and put the title for free instead.
Aniken isn't going to like all those slave cards.
A chance that's just a jawa think restricted to starship (and maybe droids) ^^

Noted for Nubia Ace. I initially want to reverse the scavenger crane but yeah, i hadn't thinking of killing the Dash donuts ^^
Maybe limited the discard on ordonance slot (bomb/torp/missile) : triple uboat or deadeye bomber have regulary an extramunition and you only discard an ammo token in that's case (like boba Fett).
Another solution could be to trigger the discard on the death of the ship (restricted the probability to trigger & your opponement already made use of his card).
If you're struggling to come up with a unique pilot, just make a generic instead and have 2 generics and two uniques. Nubia Ace is named and dotted; so that pilot is unique.
Is this large or small base? That makes a big difference when it comes to the 1-turn

I also get a visual design problem : what is the real shape of the ship ?
I used J-type Skiff as placeholder but I don't know the real shape of the A-type. Is it a slime version of the J-type skiff ? Is it a shorter H-type yatch (aka the shiny space dart) ?

I’m thinking of submitting my A-type Stiletto for the second season of the Custom Card League.

Initially appeared in the sourcebook Suns of Fortune for the RPG Edge of the Empire, the Stiletto is clearly a descendant of the elder N-1 starfighter. I design it as a rebel version of the TIE Advanced. With a 2/3/4/1 stats line, the same action bar as his imperial counterpart and both system and missile upgrade slot, the Nubian starfighter distinguishes from the TIE/x1 by a better dial : the speed 3 S-Loop replace the hard turn and it gains more greens.
I have minor struggle with some elements of the expansion :
The first one is with the dial. I hesitate to put a more restrictive dial for the ship with only a hard green turn at speed 1 and put the speed 4 straight in white.
The second is the choice of the named pilot. I don’t know any nubian pilot (excepted Jinkins, but he feats better in the Havoc) so I put the pre-generated sullustan rebel pilot from Age of Rebellion and a wealthy princess saved by Solo as part of my named pilots. So anybody had some better filler name other than “Nubia Ace/Leader” ?
One of my other problems is with the “stolen identity” EPT :“Choose a Scum Small Ship Unique Pilot card. Replace your pilot's ability by the one of the choosen pilot.” (rebel small ship only)
I originally priced it at 3pts. But, with the fact that’s any named pilot remove is ability, i found it a little bite overcosted. Putting the ability of Fenn Rau, Talonbane Cobra or Torkil Mux on a mid-PS rebel small ship is amazing but don’t change the fact that’s your at PS5~6 and you can be dodged be many aces. If you but an ability on a high-PS Ace, you spend the 3 points for the card, but you also spend your EPT slot and the extra points of your ability AND you’re loose this ability. For example, if you put the stolen identity on Wedge in the T-65, you pay 32pts for a PS9 Talonbane, old Teroch or Fenn rau in a Xwing without any EPT slot. So maybe i can put Stolen identity at 2pts instead.

I think G3-D9 is fine, but undercosted by 1pt or lack a counter-effect like many other scummy upgrade (maybe put the "action:" trigger, "add a evade token. Then roll a dice, on a eye, receive a stress token" to keep the cost at 1pt).
And for S19, i'm not convinced. I see what you design : an astromech to reduce the effect of tractor beam tokens, Bumper ships and Rigged cargo chute. But what i thinking when i read the card is "free focus when a made mistake (or when i don't care)". That's a little bite odd to take advantage from your own misplays. The initial idea to mitigate the bad effect of being push in an obstacle is cool but i don't like your solutionSlaveofChrist reacted to this -

With as much Crew slots, i will murder to see a pilot with an effect like : " Other friendly ship at range 1-2 may performs action from any of your equipped Upgrade card with the "Action:" header. "
I like the gilded Lily mechanic ; but maybe it need a trigger like "at each start of activation phase". It can be nasty with a Uwing, Arc170, Falcon (both old & new), Hwk-290, ... but, for the moment i'm a little confused : when the friendly ship get out of my range 1-2, did I keep a copy of his title ? Until which trigger ? Forever ? And if the friendly ship die, did I keep a copy of is title or is it like the IG-2000 ?
Booster Terrik (crew)... Just him with Latts Razzi ... Maybe you should playtest that synergy with maybe somes Zhead-95 with Concussion missile & Guidance chips
Yah pilots can keep the same ability in a new ship, but crew versions of pilot characters always have different (though sometimes related) abilities.
And it's not quite word for word, as he pointed out when I said the same thing earlier, wedge only counts the targets primary arc, not aux/mobile/speical arcs
. in that's case, why not allow the "wedge effect" at your mate when you see the enemy in your firing arc at a limited range ? like Ethan who transform 1hit into critic for the rest of his squad.
Okay, that is a hard limit, I was wondering about that. Still feels wrong for large ship expansions, but whatever, it's your contest. All I know is if it's a choice between entering and verisimilitude, you couldn't pay me to take the first over the second.

I get that you probably don't want to deal with that many new interactions per entry, but if you want expansions, let us make expansions, not contractions.Restrictions always challenges the creativity.
Maybe you could take advantage of dual side cards to reduce the number cards (like flipping the "pulsar skate" into the "merisse hope" after the trigger). -
This is my first entry for the Season 2 of the Custom Card league and, yes, … It’s another Ewing


My first thoughts on this ship are : he’s overcosted ; he need a generic pilot w/ EPT ; the dial need a little update.

Like @Razgriz25thinf, I put the 30pts EPT generic Pilot with a Pilot skill of 5. Firing before Manaroo or a Black moon Squadron is a nice think. With this, my Freitek title bring some maneuvrability in the same vein of the new Falcon Title.
Next to that, i made the choice of reducing the ship base cost by putting a tech slot instead of the traditional astromech. One of the major problem of improving the Ewing is to overhaul the ship without unleashing Corran “the beast” Horn. That’s why i choose to put the reduction cost as an alternative of the regen droids slot.
With a 3pts reduction and the obligation of taking a tech upgrade, You can take a comm relay as it was free or just bring a “Hyperwave com scanner” or a “primed thrusters” and benefit from a 2pts reduction.
Speaking of this, for the price of the naked pilot, you can put a primed thruster and a fire control sensor system on your ship to stay focus on your target with a sweet B-roll after your Koiogran or your new Talon-Roll (On tie s/f, FCS+PT is already a cool combination).

3 news named pilots with a price ratio lower than Ethan & Corran. The first pilot, is a PS6 who mimic the Tie/x7 mechanic on his own way. With Juke+FCS+BB8+Freitek Prototype, it could be a real pain for your opponement at 38pts. To play a cheap Jordan Karls, you could also take Autopilot Override, the free tech who let you benefit from the 3pts gains with the sealed R7-astromech. So , with VI+ Sealed R7-Astro / Autopilot + Collision Detector + Freitek Prototype Jordan Karls become a cheap 30pts Ace at PS8.

The second named pilot is Kasan Moor. I choose to design a pilot who can bring some support via the abuse of a fire control system. In a classic Regen-Ace build (VI+FCS+R2-D2), Kasan can still help his mate when he regenerate his shield away from the fight.
With the addition of the Recon Probot, Kasan can transform the initial combat phase of his mates into a deadly strike.
Initially designed as a Headhunter pilot, i put my Jaden Korr in the rebel escort ship to bring some interesting option. The first idea of the design is a little bite like “choose and pay the pilot ability you want” who let many way from an efficient wired + Push the limit to a cheap Crackshot + Veteran Instincts. You could also benefit from the stress of a pre-serial R7 to put a punchy Jedi Ace with Crackshot + Wired + Pre-serial R7 Astro + FCS + Mon calamari Enhanced interface + Freitek prototype (40pts).

To conclude I also bring an alternative named pilot with a tricky ability at the same price of the Blackmoon squadron pilot and an R8 astromech who can help many generic rebels pilots.

I still think 4+ cards is pretty heavy. Like I mention, you can make a totally original list with only a couple or a single new upgrade.
And I doubt you would have to police it at all. Just say doing something like that is illegal and it simply wont happen. But I could abide by the 4 card minimum limit I'm sure if you decide to go with that. Maybe meet in the middle at 3?
i share the same thought, 3 seem a good compromise.
For example, Someone who bring a list with Wedge+Luke with both a new astromech (from a E/Xwing "fix" expension) and a Uwing with a custom crew (from a YT-1210 rebel pack). I think it's a nice and original use of the custom cards with only 3 cards from the Custom expansion. Look the cleverness of the crackswarm list from the wave 7-8 : 6 ships w/ EPT from the wave 1 and only one 1pt card from the last wave.
