  1. Doesn't Maul turn off Expertise once activated? So if you re rolled into an eyeball, you are then stressed and expertise cant flip it. Then the shot misses and the stress stays. Also, with the PTL, your action economy would turn off Maul before it could be activated. So you would need to hit without usong Maul's rerolls to remove one stress. Seems like multiple ways of achieving the same level of modification, and none that really stack very well. And all seem to be open to being shutndown via stress which is popular. Not sure what the best answer is, but it seems Maul dosent mesh well with expertise or PTL. Maybe VI is thr best call with him?
  2. I'm very excited for some T-65 improvements. I've run this list a couple times. I used to use BB8 on Wedge before flight assist, but switched when I got the new card. Works well in casual, but the high ps is key for it. So the current PS 11 meta is not kind to it. Worked for me. Wedge is frail, but gets good damage in with M9's help. Then with M9 defensively, Fenn is really tanky. Suites my flying style.
  4. Towards the end of a match it ends being my ps2 scum y with tlt vs a 2 hp whisper with intel agent. May as well call it..... but we decided to play it out. After several quick paced rounds and ive bled most of my hp's. I managed to juke whisper with a k turn that landed on the very edge of the mat. Managed to surprise my opponent enough to deny Whisper a shot that round, and she was decloaked. Her choices were to barrel roll remaining in my arc at range 1 or take tlt fire at range 2. She barrel rolled in, still not haveing arc herself, just barely. We were rather excited at this point, and had apparently been talking loudly as a small crowd of fellow players had massed. I rolled my 3 red dye to get..... 3 eyeballs...... a mass groan and wave of laugher erupted, myself included. The y died 2 rounds later. That was one of my most enjoyable losses to date.

  6. Lol, well poop. There you have it. Re read the card, missed the cancel all results part. Makes sense now. I did have a feeling i was missing something, that was it. Thank you. Any suggestions on a better cannon set up? I would love to make the assualt title work.
  7. Good morning, i haven't tried this list yet, but I'm considering it for a local quarterly tourny coming up. I love the firespray, but have only ever used it in scum lists. I love the gunboats ( x wing alliance fan), so i wanted to put them together. Obviously high PS will be an issue, but was hoping to have enough of an edge over wookies, other gunboats and such to have some fun. The idea is to strip locks and tokens with the jam cannons( and do 3 dice damage) ( put in range with a slam) and hit hard with the firespray. Please let me know what glaring holes i have left and did not notice. Thankyou.   11. I have have a weakness for trying to use underdogs. So i have always tried to use t-65s. Several waves ago i attempted poe/wedge/biggs at a tourny. Every game was close.... but none went well for me. ( was the days of palp aces and manaroo) Since then, i have tried to use them in casual with moderate sucess. This is the list i want to try next with them.   14. I agree with a couple things above. I think the Wookie was designed to replace Biggs as the go to meat shield. Long before the first Biggs nerf, FFG said they could not improve the T65 due to overpowering Biggs. The first nerf didnt work, so they replaced him, and majorly nerfed him. Now, they can perform the most needed buff for the x wing ( and ewing if done through a mech) which is a point reduction and maybe some extra mod access. Now that Biggs is more like a speedbump rather than a wall, it wont break the game to make the chassis cheaper. Just my opinion.
  15. I play 50 point lists all the time. My most enthusiastic and available sparring partner is my 7 year old son. I'm extremely proud of how well he does with such a complex game, but being 7, 50 pts keeps game length managable for his attention span.
