  1. Finally an accurate delivery date.
  2. Anyway we can get a bit more variety on the ship list? I personally plan on giving my group the E-9 Explorer but it's not on the list yet. Great work so far man, keep it up!
  3. Anyone else experiencing delays? My LFGS still hasn't received its shipment of Guns for Hire yet.
  4. Brothers Grim Presents: Star Wars: X-Wing Hangar Bay Event! Yesterday we looked over the rules and format of the tournament, now we can start to look at how these changes will impact player list building. Since each player can have both of their lists be from the same faction, this allows those with limited collections to participate, unlike in previous Hangar Bay formats. The only difference in both lists must be that they do not share any pilots. Let’s see an example. Player Jeremy has a more limited collection than some of his fellow players, and opts to use to the Imperial Faction for both of his Hangar Bay event lists. Jeremy also enjoys running lists that use Emperor Palpatine, the TIE Phantom, the TIE Advanced Prototype, and wants to use them in each list. But how can he do that if he cannot use Omicron Group Pilot, Whisper, and the Inquisitor in both lists? Jeremy's solution is to change up the pilots. Since he cannot run the same pilots in any case, he opts to swap the Inquisitor for Valen Rudor, and Whisper for Echo. With points to spare, he changes the Omicron Group Pilot for Captain Yorr, and even has room for Proton Rockets on Valen Rudor and Intelligence Agent on Echo. Despite having a smaller pool of ships, Jeremy is still able to field two lists that both fit his playstyle. Now that we’ve looked over how someone with fewer ships can field the ships they desire, let’s take a look at some of the things other players can do! Player Bob owns a wider variety of X-Wing ships, and for the Hangar Bay event will have one of his lists be of the Rebel Faction, and the other list be the Scum Faction. Bob loves flying Rebel aces, and builds a list as he normally would. His Rebel list emphasizes abilities and a high Pilot Skill to defeat his opponents, like a true Rebel Ace. But what of his Scum list? We see from the Scum list that Bob has many dirty tricks up his sleeve. Unlike his Rebel list, the Scum ships he chose are all low Pilot Skill, but packed with crew and upgrades that cause mayhem to force his opponent to play by his rules. Whether you’re a loyal Imperial citizen, or two-timing Rebel Scum, the Brothers Grim X-Wing Hangar Bay is sure to provide a test of true skill and enjoyment for pilots of all types. 5. Brothers Grim Presents: Star Wars: X-Wing Hangar Bay Event! What is a Hangar Bay? The Hangar Bay format is a new way to play competitively, introduced by Fantasy Flight Games during the System Open Series tournaments. The Hangar Bay format was used as a side event during those massive events for those who had finished playing in the main event. It allows a player to use two different lists in the same tournament, mixing things up and letting the players have a wider variety of play. How does it work? In order to play in the Hangar Bay event, each player will need to bring two standard squads that follow the 100-point limit. Both of these squads will use the same damage deck and obstacles. For the Brothers Grim event, we will also be using the Squadron Rule: your two squads cannot share any of the same pilots. Hangar Bay format rounds each begin by placing your first squad on your left, and your second squad on your right. After evaluating your opponent’s squads, both of you will secretly select which squad to field for this round by using a maneuver dial. Rotate to a 1-speed maneuver to select your first squad on your left, or a 2-speed maneuver to select your second squad on your right, and then place your maneuver dial facedown. Next, each player reveals their dial simultaneously, and removes their unselected squad from the table. Can both squads be from the same faction? Yes. Do I have to play each list I bring? Yes. Each player must use each of their lists at least once during the event. How many rounds will there be in the event? The number of rounds will be based upon how many players are attending, as per the Basic Structure in the Fantasy Flight Games Tournament Regulations. What FAQ will be in effect? The X-Wing FAQ Version 4.2.1. Pertaining to squadron building, unique pilots and corresponding crew cards. Can I have Kanan as a pilot in one list and have him as a crew in the other? Yes. The limit on pilots does not pertain to crew cards. When and where is the event being held? Saturday July 23rd, 10:00AM Brothers Grim Games 1244 Middle Country Rd Selden, New York 11784 How much is the Entry Fee? $10.00, and includes a pizza lunch. What time does the event start? Sign ups start at 10:00AM, Round 1 begins at 11:00AM. Do I have to bring copies of my lists? Yes, please. This will fast track registration and ensure a quick start time. Thank you for reading about our event! If you'd like to see the Facebook event, click here to see updates or ask questions about the tournament. Concerns or comments? Ask here or message us on Facebook. Stay tuned to this thread for updates, and tomorrow we will be posting here about possible lists each player will be able to bring. See you in the hanger, pilots.

  12. According to certain sources of dubious quality, the XG-1, Rebel Transport, and something involving the StarViper is Wave 10.
  13. Based off of the Prices for the PS2 Cartel Maurader and the PS1 Alpha Squadron (20 and 18 respectively), which the Fang sits between, we can estimate that the generic PS1 Zealous Protector will cost between 18 and 20 points. The next up, PS3 Concord Defender will cost between 20 and 23 points, as the PS5 Black Sun Ace is 23 points and the PS3 Avenger Squadron is 20 points. Then you have the PS5 Concord Veteran, who will cost between 21 points and 25 points, as the Saber Squadron Pilot costs 21 points, and Graz the Hunter is 25 points.
  14. Well if there's anyway I can help, let me know.
