  1. But did Enterprise really set that high a bar for character complexity?
  2. I’ve been looking forward to this since they first announced it sometime a year or so ago. I didn’t see Alan Tudyk in the footage though...he is a must for this series for me.
  3. He’s been asked about it before, and has consistently said that he’s not inclined to do so. It began as a project to help teach himself to code, so the early foundational code is sloppy and full of shortcuts and happy accidents.. He’s concerned that adding more cooks to the kitchen, who don’t know how he did some of that early stuff could break the backbone of how the software works.
  4. And it still doesn’t change the terms of both contracts involved.
  5. Asmodee is already in Europe, and that hasn’t changed the terms of the contracts, so...I hope you’re not holding your breath.
  6. But seriously...Walmart’s site is really vague about what products are actually sold by Walmart, and what’s listed on their marketplace (similar to the Amazon marketplace)...3rd parties with online space through Walmart.
  7. I’ve heard that speculation tossed around. Also speculation that they’ll bring Slave II into canon and give that to Mando.
  8. Not to mention, when the D20 Radio guys contacted Edge right after the Edge announcement was made, Edge asked them to “give us the year.” And that would have been right before/at the beginning of the near-global shutdown. With that, I haven’t been expecting to hear anything until sometime after the first of the year.
  9. I'm transcribing and converting the three Cluster chapters from GG6 (the overview of the Cluster, the planets with sheets and accompanying larger write-ups, and the NPCs). From there, I'll see how it looks before squeezing in anything else.
  10. There’s a “donate” button on the main page of mySWRPG.com. Fortunately, WEG did the heavy lifting. I’m just converting format and stats where appropriate.
  11. No worries. I've started work, but it's on hold while I work on compiling the holiday-themed adventure I ran for my group last year into a document to post. But, to give you a preview of what's in store for the Minos Cluster....
  12. The “official” location has been in doubt since the final season of Clone Wars aired, and Anaxes was included in the Outer Rim Sieges. Now, before you hastily whip out your “ackshewally” on me, remember that Wookiepedia is a fan-maintained resource, so when you see it saying things like “considered part of the Outer Rim Sieges despite its location in the Core Worlds,” keep in mind that those words come from fans attempting to reconcile what they see as a contradiction. There’s nothing confirming its current canon location from LFL either way (that I can find, anyway), other than...well...Anaxes being part of the Outer Rim Sieges.
  13. It immediately put my wife and I in the mind of Jayne Cobb’s, “I was aiming for his head.” 🤣 (This is not a bad thing.)
  14. In point of fact, most of us here said it was certainly possible, but not backed up by the BTS reason the line was included, nor LFL’s official stance at the time.
  15. Politicians also parse things carefully to their benefit while remaining technically true. If the prevailing Mandalorian philosophy of the time wouldn’t have accepted Jango (or Din) as “Mandalorian,” why lie when the truth, devoid of context, will do? 😁 Full disclosure, I really like the “certain point of view” compromise mainly because it allows room for interpretation. Lucas’ insistence that Jango not being Mandalorian can exist right alongside others’ belief that he was. It doesn’t invalidate any possible contradictions that came before, when they can just as easily be chalked up to perspective. It allows both the narrative and any fans who are particularly fond of one view or the other to have that view be correct. If Favreau and company’s decisions are meant to do this intentionally, I think it’s a brilliant way to do it. If it’s not intentional, it’s a happy accident, and they should take credit for doing it on purpose. 😁
  16. At the risk of reopening the same can of worms that’s been spilled many times before, I’m taking the behind-the-scenes explanation given for including Almec’s line, as well as LFL’s official stance between then and now into account. Almec may have lied; may have been condescending towards Jango; may have been truthful according to the official Mandalorian perspective at the time (wouldn’t be the first time a society dismissed a certain subset). Of course, I’ve always agreed that the way it was done allowed wiggle room for the “LFL official” status to change. While it appears it may now have indeed changed (which is fine), I think the information we’ve gotten still allows for wiggle room for both to be true from those Certain Points of View.
  17. I like the compromise that Alex from Star Wars Explained put forth in his review of the episode: We already know that the Children of the Watch are considered a fringe extremist group of zealots. Perhaps “general” Mandalorian society doesn’t see foundlings and other such “adopted” Mandalorians as Mandalorians. So, both statuses are true...from a certain point of view. (TM)
  18. If they’re altering his height, they’re fudging it. “Fudging” is merely a casual slang term for altering/disguising. I’d ask if semantics are the hill you’re prepared to die on, in order to cling to a point that’s been disproven, but...well...we’ve danced this dance before, just to different tunes. Sure. Although I gotta admit...one of the first things I noticed was that Boba Fett was 5 inches shorter than the last time we saw him chronologically in TESB and RotJ. 🤣😜
  19. It’s the difference between lead and supporting characters. Or, to put it in RPG terms, Mando is a PC, while the other Mandalorians we’ve seen are minion groups with a few rivals tossed in, and maybe a nemesis (the Armorer).
  20. Now you’re just splitting hairs. (How uncharacteristic. /endSarcasm) Who said that all techniques to fudge performers’ heights are “camera tricks?” You’re the first person to use such a term here.
