  1. I've had fun with the ps2 with rey and tactical jammer, with two fcs b's and two tracer bandits. Two agility with double focus means it can soak a lot of damage.
  2. Finals for mustafar is paratanni vs an imperial list with Quickdraw, Vess, and Saabac. Top 4 lists that lost were a rebel swarm with z's and y's I think, and a palp/marek/fel.
  3. I don't see any streaming setups at Mustafar.
  4. Might be that with the quick turn around into regionals, folks haven't been able to edit the full videos yet.
  5. Austin has a table set up for streaming, not sure what the link is.
  6. Times you can measure range: 1) When one of your ships with the target lock action is performing an action, you can attempt to target lock an enemy ship. You must declare that your ship is attempting to target lock, and who you are attempting to lock on. You can then measure range between the two ships (you can sorta use this to gauge range to other ships, but you're only allowed to plce the range ruler towards the ship you're tring to lock). If the ship you were trying to lock is out of range, then you can perform a target lock on another ship, or perform a different action entirely. 2) When one of your ships is the active ship in the combat phase, it can measure range to all enemy ships in order to determine arc and distance. You can measure from your ship to all enemies before deciding who to attack. Note that if you have two ships at the same PS, you can't measure from both of your ships before deciding which one attacks first. So if you're trying to focus fire with a group of ships, you might want to fire from the furthest ship first, to make sure it can attack your desired target. 3) When an pilot ability or upgrade card has a range trigger (lone wolf, Intel agent, etc) you can check range at the time the upgrade would trigger. The biggest thing to note is that you can't do something like check range (without target locking) and then boost or barrel roll. It's perfectly ok on a ship like super dash or the inquisitor to target lock (or attempt, if they're out of range), then use that info to decide on your boost/barrel roll options.
  7. No, just let your opponent know that it's your first tournament, most folks are pretty chill, even at a regional level event.
  8. Wholeheartedly agree. I ran an A Wing swarm for awhile, and I felt like that was a big problem for me. I would tend to get a block, then not have enough offense to follow through.
  9. Also keep in mind that it's not terribly hard to line up a shot where only Cassian is a valid target.
  10. Slightly more obscurely, a pair of large ships that are worth 49/51 points each only yields 49 points to the enemy when they are half damage. So if two set of brobots go to time, one running 50/50 and one running 49/51, and both are below half health, the player running 49/51 will actually end up with a win outright instead of going to a final salvo.
  11. I don't have a source, but I believe there used to be a 'super'-bye with 200 MoV when you used a bye you won at a lower tier event, but that went away sometime in the last couple seasons. All byes now, regardless of circumstance, are 150 MoV.
  12. If you're looking to keep the same core of that list, (Inquisitor, Vessery, Zeta Leader), I'd consider dropping Backstabber down to an Academy pilot. You can drive him straight into the fray as a blocker, and use the points freed up to give Push the Limit to the Inquisitor. If you're also willing to put Adaptability on Zeta instead of Wired, you can get all three of your aces to PS 8 by swapping Vessery's crackshot for VI, which will work nicely with Vessery's ability. (This also frees up a point to put Autothrusters on the inquisitor)
  13. I played a friend wit a pretty nasty Boba/Kath list. Kath had VI, EU, Dengar, ID. Boba had Adaptability, 4-Lom, Slave 1, Homing missiles, extra munitions, chips, stim, seismics. Lots of intentional bumping and self bumping to keep them getting shots on my ships.
  14. The only time I've ever had a true draw, it was Poe vs. Soontir at the end. Would have been a 3 vs 3 final salvo in this case.
  15. What if there was a wave 9 errata that you can't fire ordnance at an obstructed target?
  16. I don't see anything about regional byes. Winning a regional (US/Canada) gives you guaranteed entry, but I don't think you get to use your bye.
  17. The free action and the stress from PtL occurred simultaneously, so you choose the order they happen. If you chose to receive the stress first, then you couldn't do the free action, so generally you choose the action first If you had a ship with PtL and Experimental Interface, you could trigger PtL for a second action, then trigger EI off that 2nd action as well. Then the stress from PtL and EI would both resolve, and you'd have three actions and two stress.
  18. I think a lot of folks complaining about overpowered Outriders and Falcons with illicit upgrades are missing the fact that the second modification is likely points limited to exclude Engine upgrade. Yeah Dash can give himself a feedback array to cover the donut hole, but most likely at the expense of boost. I don't know that I'm as worried about feedback array SuperDash as I am the regular Boost/BR Dash.
  19. Gene killed me in round 4. He was flying Howl/crack/stealth, wampa/stealth, 4x black/Crack.
  20. Nice to see such a good ability on a mid level PS.
  21. What if you protect the top half? I.E. in a top 8, the top 4 get seeded 1-4. Then 1 gets to choose their opponent from the 4 players ranked 5-8.

    4-LOM builds

I'm interested in seeing if Gonk, EI, and Sensor Jammer is worth a play. Seems like he'd be pretty survivable.
