  1. Here's my fleet. It's not the most well-rounded fleet, but it was a lot of fun to fly. Name: Rieekan 3xMC75OC Q7 Faction: Rebel Commander: General Rieekan Assault: Opening Salvo Defense: Planetary Ion Cannon Navigation: Solar Corona MC75 Ordnance Cruiser (100) • General Rieekan (30) • Ordnance Experts (4) • Reinforced Blast Doors (5) • External Racks (3) • Assault Concussion Missiles (7) = 149 Points MC75 Ordnance Cruiser (100) • Strategic Adviser (4) • Ordnance Experts (4) • Phylon Q7 Tractor Beams (6) • External Racks (3) • Assault Concussion Missiles (7) = 124 Points MC75 Ordnance Cruiser (100) • Bail Organa (7) • Ordnance Experts (4) • Phylon Q7 Tractor Beams (6) • External Racks (3) • Assault Concussion Missiles (7) = 127 Points Squadrons: = 0 Points Total Points: 400
  2. Here the thread that I use as the basis when I play Task Force games. There's a 2-page PDF cheat sheet. Not much changes from a normal full game.

Taskforce Armada Format! 200 pt 3x3 area

I don't think so. I think overall our games have been pretty well matched. The big change this game was my change from my usual MC75+GR75 to trying MC75+HH. It allowed me to table @ShoutingMan by only killing his ISD. Faction: Rebel Commander: General Rieekan Assault: Opening Salvo Defense: Planetary Ion Cannon Navigation: Solar Corona MC75 Ordnance Cruiser (100) • General Rieekan (30) • Ordnance Experts (4) • Phylon Q7 Tractor Beams (6) • External Racks (3) • Assault Concussion Missiles (7) = 150 Points Hammerhead Torpedo Corvette (36) • Ordnance Experts (4) • Disposable Capacitors (3) • Assault Concussion Missiles (7) = 50 Points Squadrons: = 0 Points Total Points: 200

    How to...Triple Cymoon! (Chapters 1, 2 and 3)

I really love this idea and the write-ups have been great to read, so I decided to try this concept for Rebels. I started with this list. Name: Madine LSC+2xMC75OC Faction: Rebel Commander: General Madine Assault: Opening Salvo Defense: Planetary Ion Cannon Navigation: Solar Corona MC80 Star Cruiser (96) • General Madine (30) • Intel Officer (7) • Caitken and Shollan (6) • Engine Techs (8) • SW-7 Ion Batteries (5) • Spinal Armament (9) = 161 Points MC75 Ordnance Cruiser (100) • Strategic Adviser (4) • Ordnance Experts (4) • External Racks (3) • Assault Concussion Missiles (7) = 118 Points MC75 Ordnance Cruiser (100) • Bail Organa (7) • Ordnance Experts (4) • External Racks (3) • Assault Concussion Missiles (7) = 121 Points Squadrons: = 0 Points Total Points: 400 I originally used Madine because he's been my go-to commander. I love the extra maneuverability, but quickly realized that they could be even more potent with Rieekan. With Rieekan there's less dependence on deployment and activation advantage. After some testing, I decided to drop some points from the MC80 and put them into Phylons to mess with my opponent's speed and maneuverability. So this is the list that I'm currently running. Name: Rieekan LSC+2xMC75OC Q7 Faction: Rebel Commander: General Rieekan Assault: Opening Salvo Defense: Planetary Ion Cannon Navigation: Solar Corona MC80 Star Cruiser (96) • General Rieekan (30) • Engine Techs (8) • SW-7 Ion Batteries (5) • Spinal Armament (9) = 148 Points MC75 Ordnance Cruiser (100) • Strategic Adviser (4) • Ordnance Experts (4) • Phylon Q7 Tractor Beams (6) • External Racks (3) • Assault Concussion Missiles (7) = 124 Points MC75 Ordnance Cruiser (100) • Bail Organa (7) • Ordnance Experts (4) • Phylon Q7 Tractor Beams (6) • External Racks (3) • Assault Concussion Missiles (7) = 127 Points Squadrons: = 0 Points Total Points: 399 My opponent this weekend was playing dual ISDs, Demolisher, and a Gozanti. I was able to make short work of one of his ISDs, with help from Bail. With Opening Salvo, ExRacks, and a CF dial, I was throwing 8 blacks and 2 blues for 1 acc and 12 damage+ACM. Then I slowed his other ISD and Demolisher so that his Demolisher was tripping over the ISD and didn't fire a single shot the whole game. He killed my first MC75, so I just flew it in front of his ISD and left it there to block him in for a round while my other 2 ships came around into firing range. This fleet may not be the most versatile, but it sure is a lot of fun and easy to fly.
  5. That's what I said after the game also. LOL!
  6. @Green Knight I just wanted to say that I'm really enjoying your blog. I've finally had some free time to catch up on it. I love reading about different ideas for fleets and synergies between different ships & upgrades that I hadn't thought about yet. Nice job!

    Thrawn I guess I'll start

Yup, I had no problem with it. It all made sense and seemed logical and legal to me....even though I lost the match. LOL

    Feedback on Ackbar fleet

I thought about GT, but with throwing so many reds, I decided I should really have some way of making them count.

    Feedback on Ackbar fleet

Yeah, I was thinking of doing that. I originally had Shara, but dropped her to make room for IO.
  10. I was playing around with some ideas I had after Wave 7 and was looking for feedback on this fleet. The idea is to make sure that the MC80 goes last so it has the best chance to proc Defiance. I was also torn between ECM and AP, but ECM seemed like a better choice to always ensure that the brace is available. On the AFMKII I was back and forth on IO and Lando, but felt that IO would be better to lock down or strip a brace. And I'm not sure how useful DCaps will be, but for 3 points it seemed worth it. Faction: Rebel Commander: Admiral Ackbar Assault: Advanced Gunnery Defense: Hyperspace Assault Navigation: Dangerous Territory MC80 Assault Cruiser (114) • Admiral Ackbar (38) • Strategic Adviser (4) • Engine Techs (8) • Early Warning System (7) • Electronic Countermeasures (7) • Leading Shots (4) • XI7 Turbolasers (6) • Defiance (5) = 193 Points Assault Frigate Mk2 B (72) • Intel Officer (7) • Caitken and Shollan (6) • Disposable Capacitors (3) • Electronic Countermeasures (7) • XI7 Turbolasers (6) = 101 Points GR-75 Medium Transports (18) • Leia Organa (3) • Comms Net (2) = 23 Points GR-75 Medium Transports (18) • Toryn Farr (7) • Bright Hope (2) = 27 Points Squadrons: • 4 x A-wing Squadron (44) = 44 Points Total Points: 388
  11. Yes, that drives me crazy also.
  12. For me it is dependent on the fleet that I'm building. There are times when I know the upgrade that I want and would like to view the list alphabetically and there are other times when I'm trying to find something to fit within a points constraint and would like to view by cost. I know that's probably not very helpful, but it would be nice if the sort was user-configurable on the fly. If it needs to be static, then I would vote for alphabetically. With regards to squads, for the most part I like to see them sorted alphabetically by type with generics and aces per type grouped together, e.g. A-Wing, Green Squad, Shara, Tycho, etc. I also just noticed this morning that Ryan Kingston's builder now lets you filter squads by ability.
  13. @Drasnighta Thanks. That's what I thought, but wanted to double check. :-)
  14. Since Ahsoka says "During the activation...", is it legal to use Raymus+Ahsoka to get 2 tokens on the Raymus ship? For example: Ship 1 with Raymus has a Nav dial, which becomes a dial+token because of Raymus. Then exhaust Ahsoka on ship 2 to exchange Ship 1's nav token to a CF token. Then turn nav dial into a token on Ship 1 for a total of nav & CF tokens. This seems like it should be illegal, but according to everything I could find, it is legal, so I just wanted to check.

    2 EWS tokens

@Muelmuel I'm at work now, but I'm almost positive that I also received 2 tokens and 1 card in my Profundity pack because I remember thinking that it was unusual when I opened it.
