I like it a LOT. You can pull both pretty much almost to the board edge, making it a trek to get to them. I've had people run their ISD off the board trying to catch them. The fact that they heal second player while not first player is quite good. I've created packets of rocks people have to run over to get to the station, but then block them there with the dictor or quasar sitting ontop of both stations for double heals. Its a fun objective.
And yea, Salvage run is a million times better than SP in my list, and I'm bummed I submitted the wrong one ūüėē

I would have chosen station assault and tried to strafe down the stations from long range.

    Not really surprised.

The fact of the matter is, most places don't give refunds in general. Especially for event attendance. It's a good way to get screwed if you do. (A cusery look at the terms on his webpage suggests this is the case with him "All sales are final, returns are not accepted"). I can see where this individual spoke with you, made a deal for a full refund trying to be generous, then probably got a handful more requests when the bad weather hit and realized it would be too big a loss to fully refund everything, so he offed 50%. Which was really more than he had to do.

Here's the thing, if he offered you full, and you didn't press him for it, especially considering the circumstances, you've basically entered an agreement to accept 50%. If you didn't inform him that there would be consequences for a change in the deal, especially since he didn't have to do anything, then yeah, it's a pretty **** move.

Imagine running his business for a moment.

A bunch of people buy tickets to an event, which the policy of your company is "no returns". Money in the bank. You use that money to pay bills, invest in products ect ect.. Then one guy says he can't make it. No biggie, bills are paid and you can afford it, better to be cool with the guy then to potentially piss him off, so you give the guy a 100% back deal. You're busy the next couple of days and come back to find out a bunch of folks had to cancel because of the weather, but you still made some money from the event. You really don't wanna take bad press for the weather, and a little can go a long way with gamers, so you offer 50% to everyone. It cleans you out, but you figure most will be back anyways, now the guy you offered 100% calls back and you figure lumping him in with the rest makes sense. If you gave this one guy 100% and only 50% to the others, they could think it was unfair and leave a bunch of bad press, so you discuss altering the deal. The person doesn't press the 100% deal, and doesn't tell you he plans to leave reviews for the change, and you figure it's done. Only to find out he gave you bad press anyways. Even though technically you didn't have to give him ****.

I don't know. As someone who runs a business any customer who discussed something with me, never let me know that they were displeased with the outcome then instead of taking it up with me to get it fixed tried to publicly ruin my reputation -ESPECIALLY if I was doing him a favor- would hella earn a black mark in my book.

Saying it's fine but leaving a bad review is a **** move. Be up front with businesses, if he'd have known you were that bothered, he'd probably have tried to make it right. Most of us (especially small businesses) do.

You are quite close to a list that I had a bit of success with for a while. If you strip down some of the upgrades you are able to add in two Comms goz’s, bringing you up to 6 activations, which can really help force things into your guns. It’s actually quite happy to take second player and camp objectives. I found that people were usually only able to take out one of the Vics by the time they got tabled by sheer volume of dice, and since they are so lean it doesn’t hurt your score much. SFO is great for swapping from nav to CF once in position. Here’s my list for reference
    Garbage Fleet (400/400)

I have to imagine Indianapolis wil have relatively low attendance as a result of the storm.
Southern California is on lunch ahead of the 3rd and final round. @MandalorianMoose looking strong with two 10-1 murders including an impressive reversing of what probably should have been a table by myself.

Last week it was VSD + Dominator, this week it might be Interdictor + Rhymer.  Somebody stop the ride,  I'm getting dizzy.

MandalorianMoose reacted to Grumbleduke in Mapping out how the SSD Moves
I was bored today and curious, so I loaded up Vassal and tried to work out all the possible moves for the SSD (assuming it moves from the front of the rear base).
I came up with 21 possible moves. 3 naturally (Speed 0-2), 3 either side with a Navigate Dial (so one click), 2 more each side with Moff Jerjerrod (a second click at the first joint), and another 4 each side with Moff Jerjerrod and a Navigate Dial (so ||, | or |, |).
Even without Moff Jerjerrod the ship can move surprisingly far, both forwards and sideways. With Jerry... oh my.

    Key:
Blue - natural moves, Green - Navigate Dial (or with Moff Jerjerrod), Red - with Moff Jerjerrod, Yellow - with Moff Jerjerrod and a Navigate Dial. Full album with most of the moves individually here.
Let me know if I've missed any or overlooked something.

If that's the case then why buy ad space in a magazine? Or reprint existing stuff? If the game loses money why spend more on promotion and restocking? They'd slash prices to make room for other games and stop producing organized play kits if Armada was really in trouble.

@MandalorianMoose and I are scheduled to get our game in on Monday night. I was pushing hard for a game with him last night while he was in a codeine/robotussan induced fugue state to get over something (flu?) but he was smart enough to defer to when his double computer monitors coalesced back into a single screen.
