  1. Good luck to all participants! Though I've arrived a little late to participate (in truth, I haven't looked at Vassal for 6 months), I will be spectating as many games as possible. Keep me entertained please
  2. I'd also not mind quicker responses to Rules questions. The few questions I have asked usually aren't replied to very quickly.
  3. You get used to it eventually. The problem I had was having to relearn all the keyboard shortcuts every time a new update got released, which was very frequently when I used to use it.
  4. I recall you using that list in a Vassal Tournament a while ago, and I watched a replay of you flying it. An interesting list to watch at any rate. Going back to CR90s, I always preferred As as I felt (when I flew it) that the B version was on its last legs by the time it got into range. That said, I loved using them with SW-7s alongside my MC30s, and the B version is a cheaper alternative if you require a support ship, or a flagship that chunters along at the back while your glass cannons throw themselves at the enemy forces (a lot of my MC30 lists used the CR90B to do just that).
  5. I just realised something is now possible that I've been longing to see in the game for ages. Kallus + TRC! Arquitens Command Cruiser + Kallus + Flight Coordination Team + TRC Now, when the Arquitens is attacking a unique squadron, Kallus can add a red die and then set it to double hit with TRC. FCT could possibly be used to pin enemy squadrons close to the Arquitens. Edit: My mistake - FCT
  6. I shall try this list out as soon as I can. Arquitens were part of a recent wave right? And is Vassal still alive for me to test some of the new waves? What do people recommend I buy to add to my collection? I have: Starter set, ISD pack, MC80 pack, 2x Gladiator pack, AF pack, Mc30 pack, Neb-B pack, Cr90 pack, Imperial Squadrons pack, 2x R and V. I could do with another Mc30, the VSD pack and of course the Rebel Squadron pack ( never been available when I've visited my local Armada supplier), But what about the more recent waves?
  7. So you're saying the Interdictor is a little, hard-to-handle? Sounds like my kind of ship Ooo I'm interested. Entertain me please. Just to clarify I meant "state" as in "condition" rather than a State in the US.
  8. It's been over 6 months since I gave up Armada, since it was taking up the majority of my time. Now, with a bit more free time available I feel the hunger to play this game again How has the game changed over the past few months? I left this game just as the Liberty and Indicator had been announced as Wave 4 (?). How many waves have there been since then? I noticed a campaign box set on the homepage, and am interested to know how this works etc. Whatever has happened to this game, it's nice to be back!

The Interdictor would slow enemy ships for the VSDs to feed off and using the Scrambler + Interdictor it can act as a defense for both or itself and another.

  12. I would like to try using Mauler, the coordination team and Chiraneau in a combo. For example, use a gladiator or a Interdictor with the coord team to move Mauler into engagement with a few escorts, causing the enemy squads to suffer damage. Then activate a carrier with chiraneau and boosted comms to allow Mauler to move again. It would weaken closely packed balls of squads (like Rhymer balls which float at medium range of the enemy ship.

  14. I want to try having H9 Turbolasers and Quad Turbo cannons on the Battle Cruiser. 2 accuracy every attack...and add Gunnery team. No mc30s wil dare enter my front arc...
