  1. Long delay to your reply. I apologize for that. I am in Boise, ID along with Boba Rick. I agree with your assertion that tournament data is not a completely reliable way to prove the health of a game as the majority of people who purchase ships dont ever set foot at a casual game night or tournament. for that I will provide the data that I can attest to. Locally we have 7 LGS. Until recently 5 of them kept X-wing in stock. It’s now down to 3 but the other 2 no longer carry any FFG product so I will assume that comes down to the change to a single distributor. The 3 that still stock x-wing have trouble keeping their product in stock and I personally see people come in and buy product who I have never seen at our weekly game nights nor any other time.
  2. Edit: on mobile didn’t format right.
  3. We over doubled the number of participants from last years CAC where I am and every Friday night we fill every available table with ships until they kick us out. So the game is alive and well here.
  4. Chris and Martin Kratt, of Zoboomafoo and Wild Kratts fame, both pronounce it Hee-la. Martin is a zoologist so I feel he is a credible source. Also in Idaho, where I am from, I've only ever heard it pronounced Hee-la.
  5. Blue Squadron Pathfinder x4 -Wookie Commandos -Tactical Jammer -Collision Detector -Title
  6. U-wing is the ship I love to fly. When the ship first came out I won several smaller tournaments with a biggs, keyan, cassian list and with 4 pathfinders w/ fcs.
  7. I assume that this line of reasoning can apply to other attacks that cancel results after they hit such as ion cannon?
  8. The 16-17 regional in Boise had 35 players. Unfortunately for the Idaho region, it doesn't get a whole lot of foot traffic in the way of hobby gamers. Boba Rick is a local though, he's fun to play.
  9. We finished our Store Championship at ABU Games her in Boise, ID. Had 14 players attend with 7 Rebel lists, 5 Scum and 2 Imperials. The winner flew: Quickdraw - Adaptability, FCS, LWF, PA Darth Vader - Adaptability, TIE/X1, ATC Col. Vessery - Juke, Tie/X7 Second place flew: Miranda Doni - TLT, EM, Seismic Torpedo, Sabine Wren, Bomblet Generator, Proton Bombs Captain Nym - Expertise, TLT, EM, Cluster Mines, Cluster Mines, Havoc title, Minefield Mapper, R4-E1 Overall everyone had a good time, the second placed player was the only one with TLTs and the only auzituck in play was a Kashyyyk Defender. http://lists.starwarsclubhouse.com/get_tourney_details?tourney_id=3288
  10. I considered Hux after posting the list and think he would fit better than Kylo for sure. I think that would make the bombers more flexible in being able to reposition and still get off their rockets. With Hux providing a focus at least one of them will have a focus to get their rockets off because of Fanatical Devotion even if they 5k that turn.
  11. TIE Bomber: Scimitar Squadron Pilot (16) Unguided Rockets (2) Lightweight Frame (2) TIE Bomber: Scimitar Squadron Pilot (16) Unguided Rockets (2) Lightweight Frame (2) TIE Bomber: Scimitar Squadron Pilot (16) Unguided Rockets (2) Lightweight Frame (2) Upsilon-class Shuttle: · Major Stridan (32) Fire Control System (2) · Kylo Ren (3) Operations Specialist (3) -- TOTAL ------- 100p. -- What if you modified the list a bit to include Major Stridan with an Operations Specialist? I threw FCS and Kylo on because there were still 5 points and I figured, why not?
  12. I have had a lot of success flying cassian with biggs and an arc-170. The most recent time I flew it i has this list: Cassian Andor - Draw Their Fire, FCS, Jan Ors, Inspiring Recruit, Title, Shield Upgrade Thane Kyrell - Plasma Torps, R3-A2, Baze Malbus, Title Biggs Darklighter - R2-D2, IA It's a lot of fun to fly and that shield upgrade really adds a lot to the U-Wing. I have had a lot more consistent results since putting it on there.
  13. How would Inspiring Recruit (once per turn when a friendly ship at range 1-2 removes a stress token it may remove 1 additional stress token) work with Epsilon Leader (at the beginning of the combat phase you may remove 1 stress token from each friendly ship at range 1)? Would you be able to remove up to 2 stress from all ships in range 1 of him? Or would you only be able to remove 2 stress from 1 ship amd 1 from the rest of them?

  15. http://xwing-builder.co.uk/view/524624/youngster-rage-crack# I have had a lot of positive experience with this swarm. Right when wave 8 came out i flew it with 4 blacks with crack shot and no stealth device on Youngster and 2 point initiative bid but he was targeted almost exclusively after the initial alpha strike and then I lost my re rolls so I dropped one black squadron pilot, put stealth device on Youngster and threw in Wampa. Epsilon Leader really helps to solve the double stress from Rage; at least until they are no longer flying in formation.
