  1. I recently got into Descent, and cannot for the life of me find a copy of Shadow of Nerekhall in any of the game stores in Toronto (if anyone's missing The Chains That Rust, a store in Toronto has about 100 copies at $39 each), so I hope the re-stocking continues. Having enjoyed Descent, and the Road to Legend app (more campaigns, please!), I've started taking a look at Runebound, which I think I will also be purchasing soon. Terrinoth is a great place, and I look forward to exploring all of it's corners across different games. It's even got me tempted to check out the Realms of Terrinoth Sourcebook, even though I've never played that kind of RPG, I'd just want to read it.
  2. I'd just like to thank Sadgit for all of the wonderful resources he's created for everyone. That's a lot of work and dedication, and on top of that, it's all professional looking! Amazing stuff. Thank you!
  3. It's hard enough getting all of the expansions for the 2nd Edition; all of the board game shops in Toronto seem perpetually sold-out of Shadows of Nerekhall. 2nd Edition stuff is still selling well, it seems (the expansions, hero and monster collections and lieutenant packs always in the reprint list on FFG's site). I'd just like more campaigns available on the Road to Legend app, and some more expansions or monster packs. Still, I probably would eventually break down and buy a 3rd Edition if they did put one out.
  4. Thanks to Biggs for all of his awesome articles and posts! They have been a great resource for a new player like myself.
  5. 401 Games near Yonge & College has a few Armada events per month. As much as I'd like to play, I don't think I'd go out to an in-store event. Hairy Tarantula also has some Armada game nights, and both store participate in the organized play via FFG.
  6. I have the same issue on the left side of the base. A tad disappointing considering how good the overall quality of everything else and it's the only ship with this issue.
  7. I'm glad I saw this, as I was thinking of getting another core, but I think I'll get the individual Wave I expansion versions of the ships included in the core set, if only to get the upgrade cards not included in the core. If you have the extra core, but just want the cards, I did see some e-Bay auctions for upgrade cards. Set a search alert, and you might find what you need.
  8. I've just purchased the game recently, and I would have liked to have seen a nice tutorial video about it. Although, I have to admit that I did enjoy reading the manual for the game. Everything FFG does is pretty high quality. There are some random ones on YouTube, but an FFG-made one would be great, and still useful, I think.
