  1. More or less, yes. Though they can take any missile for the job. Good thing about the list is that it's variable, I suppose. Also a problem. I'm thinking of taking cheaper missiles and dropping the tracers, maybe drop one of the other upgrades on the Inquisitor to upgrade them all to Barons, and at least then they shoot before Scouts. Something like this: https://geordanr.github.io/xwing/?f=Galactic%20Empire&d=v4!s!163:170,17:27:25:;165:170,14:27:25:;165:170,14:27:25:;166:14:27:25:&sn=Unnamed%20Squadron Yep, may work well. However, powerful alpha-strike lists like Triple U-Boat would have a real shot at killing you PS 2 before it gets to shot back. Alternatively, I've got this on my mind: https://geordanr.github.io/xwing/?f=Galactic%20Empire&d=v4!s!165:140,13:27:25:;165:140,13:27:25:;165:140,13:27:25:;165:140,13:27:25:&sn=Unnamed%20Squadron
  2. I love the idea of this list but am afraid of those PS 2's surviving long enough to unleash their payload.

Interesting. I'm thinking of something similar. I've always loved the dmg output of FCS B's and I've seen Green Squad Pilot with Crackshot in action and despite their 2 red dice, they can put some dmg through. Green Squadron Pilot (A-Wing) (20) Crack Shot + Adaptability + A-Wing Test Pilot + Chardaan Refit + Autothrusters Green Squadron Pilot (A-Wing) (20) Crack Shot + Adaptability + A-Wing Test Pilot + Chardaan Refit + Autothrusters Blue Squadron Pilot (B-Wing) (24) Fire-Control System Blue Squadron Pilot (B-Wing) (24) Fire-Control System Bandit Squadron Pilot (Z-95) (12)

Practice flying in formation and keeping all guns pointed at the enemy. You don't want to split your squad.
  5. I like the idea of PTL on Corran. I have experience with both Adv. Sensors and FCS on B Wings and although it's true that Adv. Sensors work great, I couldn't imagine flying B's without FCS as they really improve the dmg output of the B's. Thanks for your feedback!
  6. Yep but I prefer not to play Stresshog as I don't find them fun. Thx for the feedback though.
  7. I figure ionized targets = less pew pew aimed at Corran. It also allows for easy bumpage with my B's, denying actions. Dropping EU on Corran for some reason scares me. Thanks for the feedback.
  8. Hey all, Been theorycafting a little bit today and came up with quite a few builds I'm going to test. I'd like to share this one with you: Corran Horn (35) VI (1) EU (4) FCS (2) R2-D2 (4) Blue Squadron Pilot (22) FCS (2) Ion Cannon (3) Blue Squadron Pilot (22) FCS (2) Ion Cannon (3) The idea is to have the B's ionizing the priority target so that Corran can easily flank and then set himself up for a double tap at Range 1 next round. What do you guys think?
  9. I too am trying to make something work out of an all X-Wing squad. Going to a SC in a few hours with the following: Poe Dameron (31) Veteran Instinct (1) R5-P9 (3) Autothrusters (2) ''Red Ace'' (29) Comm Relay (3) R2-D2 (4) Autothrusters (2) Blue Squadron Novice (24) R2 Astromech (1) Integrated Astromech (0) Total : 100 Will let you guys know how it went.
  10. Hey everyone, Suppose I'm expecting - 25% of lists fielding TLTs - 20% of lists with Fel - 20% of lists with Poe which of those lists would be setting me up at a disadvantage? 1) Corran / Dash 2) Corran (VI, EU) / Poe (VI, R2D2, IA / Blue Squadron Pilot (FCS) 3) BBBBZ 4) Poe / Red Ace / "T-70" Thanks!
  11. Is this correct or has been errata'd ? You reveal a green maneuver. BB triggers and you take a barrel roll. PTL says after you perform an action you may perform a second action and take a stress. You go ahead and do that after the barrel roll. Then you complete the previously revealed maneuver, thus clearing the stress. THEN you take your action after completing the maneuver as normal (remember, nothing has said you may take no further actions). Thx!
  12. You guys are making a strong case. I'm all for the ''fly what you'll have fun flying'' saying but I know myself and if I'm going out there with a sub-par squad, I won't have fun. I'll probably keep Coran but go with something along those lines: https://geordanr.github.io/xwing/?f=Rebel%20Alliance&d=v4!s!75:18,36,-1,3:-1:3:;43:36,-1,-1,-1:-1:-1:;43:36,-1,-1,-1:-1:-1:&sn=Unnamed%20Squadron Coran Horn (35) + PTL (3) + EU (4) + FCS (2) + R2-D2 (4) Dagger Squadron Pilot (22) + FCS (2) Dagger Squadron Pilot (22) + FCS (2) Will fly Coran as a flanker and keep the B's in tight formation.
  13. Hey everyone, Still fairly new here. I did a first SC last week with BBBZ and did fairly well. However, managing that list through 5 rounds gave me a massive headache over the course of the day. As I'm heading into another SC this weekend, I thought I'd go something completely different and hopefully easier on the brain power that will be needed through the day. https://geordanr.github.io/xwing/?f=Rebel%20Alliance&d=v4!s!95:57,23,-1,38:14:-1:;75:27,36,-1,3:-1:3:&sn=Unnamed%20Squadron Dash Rendar (36) + Predator (3) + Outrider (5) + HLC (7) + Recon Specialist (3) = (54) Corran Horn (35) + VI (1) + EU (4) + FCS (2) + R2-D2 (4) = (46) I'm mainly looking for tips on how to approach my matches. Opening strategy, asteroid placement, flying, target prioritization, etc... Don't be shy!
  14. I took this list to a Store Championship last Sunday: Ten Numb + Veteran Instinct + Mangler Cannon + Advanced Sensors Blue Squadron Pilot + FCS Blue Squadron Pilot + FCS Bandit Squadron Pilot 99 pts. Even if it was my first event and I went in there with about 5 games total under my belt, I ended up 9th out of 42. It was easy to fly and Ten at 10 PS and advanced sensors meant he could arc dodge very well and counter Fel effectively with uncancellable crits.
