  1. That wasn't a knock on you, it was just me explaining why a 19 point comm. most likely wouldn't happen. Trust me, I'd love to be able to play the epic versions of the SSD in tourney play. As for what I'd want, I'd echo the Duke above me and want some tighter wording on upgrades and objectives.
  2. I'll bite. The SSD-1 was designed around a minimum 20 point commander. Having a 19 point commander would make a 33 hull, 6/5/5/3 shield, 6 defense token ship legal for tournament play. It would be incredibly difficult to burn through that much beef in 6 rounds.
  3. Ah, so the Hyperspace Rings are so the ARCs don't suffer from the B-wing's problem of 'mobile minefield'
  4. Also, the Hardcells aren't the flotillas from the original factions. They'll most likely be able to weather a few hits at medium range, vs. the flotilla's tendency to spontaneously combust when it doesn't have it's scatter available. I think the fleet support being on the cheaper one threw some people for a loop. It's not a GR75 with good dice, it's a Nebulon with a fleet support.

  9. Dang, that Hyperwave Signal Boost is spicy. Activate 3 squads during the ship phase with a squad command, then exhaust during the squad phase and activate 3 new squads.

  12. Imperial Arqs can get to 5 easily with slaved turrets/enhanced armament and a confire dial. Add in an obstructed shot with Romodi commander and you get 6.

  18. Interesting wording on defensive screen, which makes me think that we'll see it on the Hyena bombers, as sort of a 'reverse escort'. Yes, you can attack the Hyena instead of the Tri-fighters, but I'll just force a reroll if I don't like what rolled.
