  1. Poe, BB8, com relay, intensity. Poe can stash an evade and flip intensity face up again on turn one. He can hit combat with 1 evade and 2x focus if everything goes right :-)
  2. Haven't tried this yet but I've been thinking of running him with FCS and weapons engineer on a U or a Ghost. 8pts to lock up two ships and setup to hit the second one hard. A ghost with a dorsal turret shooting first then smack the second ship with primary weapons + lock. The bonus is that regardless of results you are always going to have at least one enemy ship locked (often 2) at the end of the round
  3. I gave the list to a friend of mine to fly last night and flew my top Rebel list against it as well a T-70 list I've been tinkering with. He took me apart with it and made a rather interesting change, ditching the Countermeasures for Inertial Dampeners.   4. My speculation is that the dial won't have any speed 4 or 5 maneuvers. I'm guessing lightened frame is designed to make taking engine upgrade a difficult choice.
  5. So here's the finished JM5K. Unfortunately the photos show more contrast between the coats highlight than there is in real life. I'm happy with it but I'll need to get a bit more practice in before I'm in the League of MacrossVF1 et al :-)

  7. Well it didn't take me long to get tired of looking at the rather underwhelming turret on the JM5K. After having a quick hunt through my bits box I found the perfect replacement, a twin 0.50 cal mount from one of Battlefront's 1:100 scale T15 AA half tracks. Sadly, after breaking off the weedy turret it has taken me almost 4 months to fit the replacement. Today I changed that sad state of affairs and mounted the new turret. Time now fro the new paint job
  8. I've been theory crafting and play testing quite a bit since observing the worlds results. One of the things that sticks out about any variation of the traditional Dengaroo build is that you are often relying on Dengar to solo a list. While this strategy works great against lists with 2-3 low hit point aces with low damage output, it falls flat vs tanky bombers, ghosts or higher PS aces with high burst damage output who can dodge arc and output 5 hits on a critical turn. vrs those types of list Dengar by himself can't push through enough damage by himself to knock out or PS kill a K-wing or remove a dangerous ace who maneuvers out of arc. So to deal with these types of list I think it might be better to leave the wife at home and link up with some little friends. So here it is ============== Scyk Em Dengar ------ 99 points Pilots ============== Dengar (51) JumpMaster 5000 (33), Attanni Mindlink (1), Zuckuss (1), Overclocked R4 (1), Punishing One (12), Counter-Measures (3) Tansarii Point Veteran (24) M3-A “Scyk” Interceptor (17), Attanni Mindlink (1), “Heavy Scyk” Interceptor (2), “Mangler” Cannon (4) Tansarii Point Veteran (24) M3-A “Scyk” Interceptor (17), Attanni Mindlink (1), “Heavy Scyk” Interceptor (2), “Mangler” Cannon (4) This list has the advantage that it includes 2x dangerous blockers who can enter the fist turn of combat with a focus and evade (from Dengar through the mind link) This gives the opponent 3 bad targets, two turtled scyks or a Dengar who is likely able to double tap. The dice 9 dice output is also pretty good too allowing you to easily focus down a badly positioned (or blocked) enemy. You could also swap out for a Concord Dawn Ace or Veteran but given that the Scyks have access to evade and have secondary weapon advantages I think for me at least the Scyks seem more attractive.   10. R2-D6 Astro gives you the EPT slot. Personally I go with Targeting astro for stress free K turns :-) Cheers
  11. Yes Arvel should never leave home without his procket. I'm looking forward to HoTR to get snapshot for my low ps rebel pilots :-)
