Nah I'm saying you will seemingly spend endless amounts of time and effort to come up with something that you feel proves you're right but to me doesn't prove anything, and for trivial points it's exhausting to watch and I'm checking out on that, I really don't care enough to put any more thought into it.


  2. The alternative ending where the denizens become NPCs and try to reach the plain of peril states they can only cross at the sentinel. Would more support the no boatman, so no river crossing, no river crossing for npcs.

    Additionally your idea on the boatman and reaper is probably wrong. I'd actually say no boatman, so no ride across the river, but that might make too much sense.

    If it was possible for the Reaper to cross between a space the Boatman Denizen card is on and a adjacent space the rules would if said so given that they in turn talked about other sets with other cards as well. But the Reaper does not visit these places nor encounters them the boatman fluff was just a reason why but even if the reason is taken away the Reaper still can move because its a rule in total not a rule keyed to the boatman at the Tavern.

Most epic way to play would be start with everything pre cataclysm, and if/when the last omen is flipped, remove all corner boards, kills all characters but pass down their items and followers to a new character, and reintroduce the corner boards as has been suggested when things like dark denizens are drawn, but never reintroduce the city. If you've got a solid 8-12 hours to finish a game that is lol.


  6. You cannot ditch cursed type followers, you may freely choose them to be discarded if required. It even makes sense thematically. They won't leave you alone and you can't get away from them, but if one has to die and you get to choose which, by all means buddy please kill that gremlin.

Nah they're evolving, it's just the evolution of it if they started over knowing what they know now they could do it much more efficiently, for example how they added cursed followers and items rather than on every card saying you may not ditch this follower, taking up half the card with redundancy. Or how they said defeated enemies from the harbinger deck mist be taken as trophies. If they could do it over they would undoubtedly just start off the core game with cursed items, trinkets, and saying that defeated enemies must be taken as trophies, and how to deal with events rather than writing it on every frigging card.uvatha what makes an event from cataclysm any different from all the other events in the deck?
