I see no reason you couldn't animate it, at which point it becomes a follower and not a trophy, freeing you up to have as many followers as you like.

The eyes are the biggest pita, some of these models have ridiculously small faces

I remove some of the more annoying time waster cards, but nothing from particular expansions.

With a lot of tweaking I think I've achieved as close as possible to stock cards for things like the Mephisto and DE characters and the Ice Queen (the only homebrew thing I use and I consider it semi official since New made it), so much so that you cannot tell by looking at the card backs, you can only tell by holding booth, mine are slightly lighter. Even so, no offense to home brew content, I just don't like it, back in the day I went nuts with it for 2nd edition, and it seems to dilute the fun and make the game feel much less like Talisman and more like some sort of knock off game. Just my feelings on it.

It's basically a predeternined adventure card draw, when you land on a space with a facedown remnant you flip it over, and IF another character is present decide to encounter the space or the character as always. If there are no characters you encounter them as normal.

Home brews are not a suitable substitute for official content.

Yeah it doesn't matter to me really but they aren't fakes I would stake my life on it, apparently they are very common, and unless they are in superb condition they are pretty much worthless. I've found all kinds of wierd stuff online, did you know you can buy pieces of the dock from the original Friday the 13th for like $90 bucks and that they also say some wierd secretion from the tomb that houses the bones of the real Santa Claus as a healing oil? I bought the wood but havent been able to bring myself to buy the secretion lol.

In general I agree that a purist game is best in theory but for whatever reasons our games take FOREVER, I would rather actually finish the game in under 8 hours lol.

When I first read the new chasm I was like wow I can't believe they made it that easy to get rid of bad items and followers. And before it becomes a debate, you CAN discard cursed items and followers, whether you have normal items or not. Nothing in the rules suggests otherwise.

That's why I trim all the garbage out of my decks, no assassins guild, flail, spell book, ekor, scribe, shiver nymph, rune gates, or a lot of other junk in my decks. I got rid of almost everything that wastes turns too. No thanks evil darkness, maze etc, let's keep the game rolling. I think I will leave the black Knight denizen tho, for now at least

It deals with the monotony of space like the chapel, cemetery, village, etc. Memorization is pretty much out of the question, way too many cards, but a lot of them are merely the standard 1-2 bad, 3-4 nuetralish, 5-6 good formula.

Every time the ancient oak gets a growth token, it does not gain a life when it's life value goes up as a result, just like any other time a characters life value increases. The fact that it gains a growth token at the beginning of the game doesn't matter. It does not gain a growth token AND a life despite your burning desire to be right and force it so by mish mashing things in a contorted way. The rules clearly say add as many life tokens are on the card at setup. It's plain as day. I stopped trying to reason with you because half the time I can't follow what you're saying. I am going to digress before I get rude about it, but that's the truth, at times you just go on and on and it doesn't make sense, and you start trying to use rules from the highland about the woodland, why would I even try about something as trivial as one life for one character. Who cares, and thusly I say, Jesus Christ whatever.

That would be pretty awesome but it would still be discarded whether you use it or not, everything the item does still happens, such as if you animate the amulet it still does it's anti-magic magic. You can give a raft life but you can't make it walk with you or stop it from rotting.

How do you make it stop

I hope DE gave it an ongoing bump, as long as they feel it makes as much money as using their resources elsewhere it'll keep going. So let's hope!
