Yes to all of the above with a sideorder of Naboo N-1 starfighters
I like the Gungan's organic aesthetic too; Gungan Catapults and kaadu riders would be great to see.

Just thought I'd post here; the TX-130 Saber Tank for the Republic looks like it doesn't currently have a unit cost listed

    Hey, it's a DLT-BBQ
I wouldn't be surprised to see Jedi like Kanan or Ezra show up in Legion (they were fighting for the Rebel Alliance, after all).
And who knows, if Fallen Order does well we might see Cal Kestis too

Good news! The 500-pt format has been slightly updated. I received a lot of feedback that while the original "Fog of War" idea was good in intent, it often led to very gamey, unsatisfying situations. So I've simply scaled it back to a Limited Vis-style range/LOS limit of range 3 for each unit during the first turn.
If you're playing the format and enjoying it, please continue to let me know! And if you have critiques or feedback, I'd love to hear that too. Many thanks to those who have already chimed in via email, on Facebook, in the discord, and in the comments of my blog and the FFG forums!

Same here; the escape pod looks great.
I'm still trying to decide on the downed AT-ST. It looks cool, and I like narrative scenarios, but the cost, as always, is where it gets tricky.
The bunker is where it gets complicated for me, and probably for a lot of other players.
The piece by ffg looks cool, but is expensive and needs a lot of time spent painting. I already have an Imperial bunker-type terrain piece from a third-party terrain manufacturer that also looks cool, doesn't cost as much, and basically comes pre-painted (and also the roof opens up, just like I've heard the ffg one does). The only thing I'd be missing is the scenario cards, and I'm not sure that I can justify spending $100+ on that. I'd imagine there are a few other players who've been able to construct their own Imperial Bunkers from third party sources, so they'd be in a similar boat.

Maybe when they do Stormtrooper sprues that'll be an option? At the moment I'm waiting for sprue before I get more stormtroopers or Rebel troopers for *fingers crossed* more customisation.

Dooku may have something like 'Makashi Mastery' that gives him the opportunity to Deflect in melee. And he'll have some kind of force lightning attack.

In that case the B1's don't have cover. That's because the Fire Support unit is only adding dice to the original attack pool, in which you checked line of sight from the BARC speeder (you only are instructed to check line of sight from the Fire Support unit's minis to see if they can add a die or not).

I mean, they do make a rule book; it’s a free pdf that gets routine updates.
And, for the sake of the player base having a shared understanding of what units are and what they do, the cards are superior to rulebooks that not every player might even have.
Cards do exactly the job of a GW rulebook with the added benefit of not requiring you to purchase an entire rulebook to verify what your opponent’s units allegedly do.

Honestly, I think that FFG has given us (consumers) a star wars game for nearly everyone.  X-wing for fighter pilots (nearly perfected with the fan made aturi cluster, in my opinion), armada for the admiral wannabes.   The RPG’s for those that fully want to tell their own stories, Imperial assault to have a more character driven skirmish style game and Legion to have full out tactical head to head with your army that suits your play, all in a simple and concise rule set that approximates combat.

I'd thought about this, and I've been wondering whether FFG might give each faction a generic battlefield commander (clones would get Clone Commanders, Imperials would get Stormtrooper Commanders and so on).

The source material supports Vader's habit of popping out of nowhere pretty well
New Vader will be fun to pair with Officer, Krennic or Palp.
JK Luke looks cool; not sure he'll want Saber Throw tho' as it doesn't pair well with Charge.

Since Shoretroopers have that lovely training upgrade, is it worth trying to put hunter or endurance on?
Would Comms Tech + Uplink be worthwhile, or a points sink?

Since they're all over the place on the other thread, here they are in one place:
RELEASE DATE: "Late third quarter." RELEASE INFO: There will not be a Heavy unit for each faction released within the same window of time as we got the AT-ST and T-47, but they said heavies for each faction will be on the way. Surge tokens are not actions. They are only given out by other abilities (command cards, upgrades, etc.). You may use Surge tokens on attack, defense, and while using Guardian. Scale is not an action. Alex said it is always on, and thus applies whenever Grievous moves. Grievous's pistol armament: Melee - Range 2: 2 Black 2 White. Critical 1, Pierce 1, Versatile. (12 points). Versatile means the weapon can be added to a melee dice pool, or can be used to shoot at a target at range, while you are engaged with another unit in melee. (Arsenal 2, Greivous could melee 1 unit and shoot at another with the pistol; or add the pistol to his melee dice pool) Ion affects droids. They will lose 1 action per Ion token. Suppression does not affect droids same as it does non-droid units. They will not lose actions and do not gain cover. Droids can become panicked due to Suppression tokens, however. Aggressive Tactics gives out Surge tokens when a unit is issued an order. 10 points/maximum of 4 surges given out. Hope (Force; Light Side Only) (3 points) You gain Inspire 1. Disengage means you may exit a melee/engagement with only a normal move (standard move, any move, was unclear, but I think it just means you can freely move out as if the opposing unit was not there). Fire Support can be used even if a unit would panic during its activation. A sneaky way to get around panicking. When using fire support, everything (cover, LOS to minis, surge) is determined by the parent unit, the one performing the actual attack. If the parent unit has surge to hit/crit, then the entire pool has surge to hit/crit. Wheeled is a free action at the start of activation only.  Phase I Clone Trooper Heavy Upgrade, DC-15: Range 1-4. 2 Red, Critical 1. (30 points). Phase I Clone Trooper Heavy Upgrade, Z-6: Range 1-3. 6 White. (25 points). B-1 Battle Droids Heavy Upgrade, E-SC: Range 1-3. 3 Black. (18 points). B-1 Battle Droids Heavy Upgrade, E60-R (Rocket Launcher): Range 2-4: 1 Red, 2 Black, Impact 2. (Exhausts; 20 points).

Range 4 might also be important for the BARC to keep it alive. Even if it only attacks with its missile launcher to give Surge to hit on a full Z6 Squad with fire support, we are still talking about an average of more than 7 hits before any aim tokens come into play. A clone attack pool with fire support can very eayly reach averages of more than 10 or 11 hits.

You can easily do this on turn 1 actually, so no exposure on the previous turn. You do, though, expose them for turn 1, but if the alpha strike does enough damage it may be a decent trade.

Equip veterans with Recon Intel and the MK IIs with Uplink. It’s expensive and might not work against a savvy opponent, but potentially a devastating alpha strike.

I would not go as far to call it an autoinclude because the gear slot is quite competetive, but it is certainly a very good option.
