I picked up my copy today from my FLGS.

Trespasser 989 got a reaction from RoockieBoy in Post-update FO. What are people flying now?
I've been running this in hyperspace:
Holo w/ PT
Lehuse w/ SF Gunner & Markmanship
Omega Squadron Expert w/ Passive Sensors and Ion Missiles
Lt. Rivas
Epsilon Squadron Cadet
Holo, Lehuse, & Rivas are taking fully modded shots most turns. Holo moves last, TL & focuses a target, Rivas gets a TL on the same target, Lehuse uses Rivas' target lock, Passive Sensor SF gets its lock, Rivas reacquires his lock for his attack. Lots of fun, but lots of triggers to remember. Been fairly successful but can't really test it in a tournament setting yet. Comes in at 194 so you normally have a little room to add things or have a decent bid.

Hey, Ryan, thanks! Great, fun game! I kind of expected to see you get picked, to tell you the truth.

Ryan here (RAC/Vader), I really enjoyed Mark and I's game. It was intense game-wise, but I felt both of us were very loose and laid back and the game itself was a lot of fun. I was hoping to get picked to battle again in the finals. It'll be interesting to see how he adapts the list to hyperspace and if it'll still be good. I think resistance will be strong in hyperspace.

X-Wing OP Related: Could we get an approximate schedule for Store and Prime Championship seasons, or at least what months to plan for those in?

It was such a fun and well ran tournament. Thanks to all the Springfieldians that made the trip up!

I wouldn't say it confirms the wings don't move. He was just afraid to put any pressure on it. We have video of the wings moving.

Trespasser 989 got a reaction from Mikael Hasselstein in Drop in and say "Hello!"
I'm about six games in - I absolutely love this game and how it captures the Star Wars spirit. Recently have been playing as rebels, taking out a death star in the last two games. I finally managed to capture and hold Coruscant for a turn. I just bought some clear stands from ETSY, I'm loving how they make the minis look.

I also plan to attempt to paint my minis later this month. We'll see how that goes.

Trespasser 989 got a reaction from Malabor in Store Champs
Same here. I'd like to actually plan out my weekends this summer. At least give us the list of stores running the championships - that info has been known for awhile, just needs to be made public.

Hopefully they'll drop the official list of stores soon - I'd like to plan out my summer.

30 pt Thweek is amazing.
- SV MK II
- Virago
- Autothrusters
- FCS
Go in with a bid and grab the highest pilot skill of the other side. I have most the local Kansas City players cursing Thweek when they see him across from them.

Next time you get major hull breach, read the text. The face up damage cards don't come until the following round.

Trespasser 989 got a reaction from Malabor in My "I'm Fed Up With Everything" List
I took a very similar list to three regionals last season and went something like 14-5 with it, including a top 4.
TIE Bomber: · Tomax Bren (24)
Crack Shot (1)
Extra Munitions (2)
Homing Missiles (5)
Long-Range Scanners (0)
TIE Avanced Prototype: · The Inquisitor (25)
Push The Limit (3)
Proton Rockets (3)
Autothrusters (2)
TIE/v1 (1)
TIE Defender: · Colonel Vessery (35)
Veteran Instincts (1)
TIE/x7 (-2)
Very fun to fly, but can struggle against high PS and bombs. Tomax is a very underrated pilot and would normally draw most of the fire early, leaving the defender and Inquisitor to finish the game. I would normally focus fire with all three ships and most of the time I could eliminate an enemy ship in the first round of firing. Normally in the second turn of firing, I could normally get the Inquisitor to range one to fire proton rockets, which combined with a second round of homing missiles/crackshot from Bren, would remove another ship.

Trespasser 989 got a reaction from Tbetts94 in 2017 Store Championships
Vessery with Juke, X7, MK. II, Ryad with PTL, X7, MK. II, Delta with X7.
I killed 6 JM5K's in 6 games. 2 Dengars, 1 Manaroo, 3 Contracted Scouts. Having the Delta to block allowed my other ships to land and get their actions. Ryad normally has plenty of options with the different K-turns available, but normally I could keep ships from blocking Vessery by planting the Delta in their way.
