I like them short and sweet. 4 rounds cut to top 4. I think anything more gets a little crazy for store champs. Primes should be the ones you need some endurance for.

With Adepticon getting cancelled, it looks like we may have a group coming from Kansas City.

I'm curious if we'll even get a list like we used to. I haven't seen much in the way of local stores promoting a SC. I know one got a kit eventually after being sent a wrong kit.

Ryan here (RAC/Vader), I really enjoyed Mark and I's game. It was intense game-wise, but I felt both of us were very loose and laid back and the game itself was a lot of fun. I was hoping to get picked to battle again in the finals. It'll be interesting to see how he adapts the list to hyperspace and if it'll still be good. I think resistance will be strong in hyperspace.

X-Wing OP Related: Could we get an approximate schedule for Store and Prime Championship seasons, or at least what months to plan for those in?

Impervium on Soulless One is a must. Most games I've got it to trigger twice, well worth the points cost. Grievous makes a great flanker, my main thing with him is to just play him slower and don't over commit. Use his linked actions only when you can guarantee a flanking, range one shot with rerolls because stress is harder to get rid of and makes you very predictable.

Like Palp would be fine at a lower cost. But at 14 points is way too much for such a situational card. Can he be game changing in the right situation? Sure. But you don’t pay 14 points for a card that may be useful in 1/3 of your matches rather than spend those points on an upgrade for each of your aces that is useful every game.
I've used him to great effect on Maul. Bumps Maul to 4 Force - a nice key to triggering Maul's double attack more often and having force left to mod your shots. Also have taken stressed ships out of the fight by giving them another stress, or hindering an advanced sensors Guri from moving prior to revealing her dial.

I'm in the same boat. Just got an email from my FLGS that those items are delayed, hopeful for Friday delivery.

FFG published PDF's with costs a couple weeks ago.

I'm about six games in - I absolutely love this game and how it captures the Star Wars spirit. Recently have been playing as rebels, taking out a death star in the last two games. I finally managed to capture and hold Coruscant for a turn. I just bought some clear stands from ETSY, I'm loving how they make the minis look.

I also plan to attempt to paint my minis later this month. We'll see how that goes.Mikael Hasselstein reacted to this -

Just now, Icelom said:It's up to stores to order kits from the distributors, I don't the ffg actually knows all the stores that will have one.
They put out the list every year:

You think by now they could at least have listed the stores that are having championships. Reveal the prizes later if distribution is an issue.

Doesn't exist yet.

Hopefully they'll drop the official list of stores soon - I'd like to plan out my summer.

Same here. I'd like to actually plan out my weekends this summer. At least give us the list of stores running the championships - that info has been known for awhile, just needs to be made public.
-
We've had one local store announce they are getting a kit and have scheduled a SC, but most of the other stores have been relatively silent.
-
I wish they would at least release what stores are doing store championships, so we can start planning.

I've noticed at the could regionals I went to, scum lists were not very prevalent. I did manage to make top 16 in both Omaha and Tulsa with a 4 ship scum list.

Post-update FO. What are people flying now?

I've been running this in hyperspace:
Holo w/ PT
Lehuse w/ SF Gunner & Markmanship
Omega Squadron Expert w/ Passive Sensors and Ion Missiles
Lt. Rivas
Epsilon Squadron Cadet
Holo, Lehuse, & Rivas are taking fully modded shots most turns. Holo moves last, TL & focuses a target, Rivas gets a TL on the same target, Lehuse uses Rivas' target lock, Passive Sensor SF gets its lock, Rivas reacquires his lock for his attack. Lots of fun, but lots of triggers to remember. Been fairly successful but can't really test it in a tournament setting yet. Comes in at 194 so you normally have a little room to add things or have a decent bid.
