I think Armada New ships will be told on May 4

Truth is I had some actual respect for his insights and opinions before he started taking pot shots at people to boost his self-esteem. Having one of my three undergapraduate degrees in psychology, I am acutely aware of his motivations and desire to fit in like many on here. People pile on the voice that doesn't prescribe to their own's clique's norms, vision, and traditions. The traditions he espouses is that FF can do no wrong and anyone unwilling to follow their timeline of production release is not a true Armada player willing to discover all the nuances. I doesn't want nuances. I want new content. I am not attempting to maximize, but instead find fun in deploying neat new ships--and more importantly, new upgrades and admirals. I am frankly sick of seeing the same old same old X-17s, ECM, etc. Those fan boys who shot this view down with hatefully, bullying vengeance don't get the 6 year old kid glove treatment when they post a forum topic about crying over a loss. This double standard you have for your own only exposes your own bias. If he is going to cry about something as silly as lossing a game while cyber bullying others, it needs to be pointed out.

I am not being anything. Some leader who insults people right and left and has a meltdown and you think that doesn't deserve pointing out. The guy flaunts his opinions as truths and strikes his venom on people like a coiled viper. He get away with it because the moderators love fan boys. What he did was childish to the highest level and he gets a free pass because too many others are too afraid of the little clique he is apart of. When one of the clique's leaders does something so juvenile as to warrant a reprimand from the very person he goes to such great lengths to persecute, I find that not only fair and just...but long, long over due. We now know exactly the man you slings the insults at is no fan boys who don't goose step to his tune.

Flotillas - Which faction won wave 3?

Wasn't even close to funny. Worse part is you found a few other fan boys to clap at something that fell so flat as to be laughable. This fan boy stuff is so funny. You sling bad insults and you get claps--talk about bias. True for about 4 months and then they will be flash in the pan sort of stuff only used in causal games, scenarios, and higher point games. These things won't find a way into competitive play for more than a few months. I could be wrong, but the most we will see is one as a rammer to hold a ship in place for a double tap like a temporary tractor beam sacrificing 20 some points for a larger victim. It will be game and wiz kid stuff and everyone will lap it up until the fad is over and they are tired of the silliness of ISD being checked by a flotilla. If you tempor your excitement over these tiny little SKU, you'll won't be as dissappointed when they quickly out live their usefulness. You'll all have to use them because you'll be preordained 3-4 per side since there isn't anything else to buy. Lap it up. Didn't you quit? He must quit smoking every week.

No, I instantly realize the stuff stunk. The reaction was spot on. You fan boys are use to goose stepping you don't understand the forest for the trees. Seriously, flottilas for a year to year and a half. Sorry you can't see the obvious. Sorry you're and Sanpfist etc. are so far behind the curve your judgement is clouded. Slicer Tools man. They're about to be the ultimate fire ship tool. They give you the horrible choice between wasting your fire on a 26 point nuisance or allowing them to badly mangle your carefully constructed command stack. I can't wait for these things to hit the table. FFG has retroactively made the Battle of Endor ten times more awesome by giving GR-75s an actual purpose for being in that battle. Your opinion would be valid if you had waited until the latest articles before forming and articulating your statements. As it's stands, you gave us your hilariously immature reaction well before we knew anything about what these ships would do to the competitive balance of the game. Now you're just trolling and your opinion is worthless.

Of course, when it is done.

Lol. Seriously. There are some of you still holding out that FF hasn't adandoned you. Armada is an orphan on life support. Left on a the front door of a church with a blanket and bottle and nothing else. Deal with the reality. You had a chance to tell FF how you felt, but you and so many other where more concerned about the wraith of the fanboys. one of their ring leaders and most vocal bullies recently couldn't handle loss in regional ps (it is a game dude, seriously) and posted his inability to be good sportsmen instead handle it like grown man. Instead he posting on the main message board in front of everyone to get attention about his insecurities. These fan boys attempt to crush dissent because this game is all they got all the while making fun of those who have different opinions and can read between the lines and know Armada is dying. The forum moderators also allow the fanboys to talk about stuff completely off limits while banning those who make a far lees or mention of politics and other no no's allowed. They get away with whatever in the forums because the moderators are the friends of these guys. You had FF's ear at one particular moment at the wave III release, but your belief in missing SKUs and other false hopes failed to let FF know thier actions were unexceptable. Now you all lost any new ships beside some stupid flotillas for a year to year and a half all because you called for FF's last track record. The writing was in the wall. When will you and the others still hoping for missing SKUs relent and revolt. They will let you down after crossing your fingers you have no recourse.

Nope, just quite buying anything new. I still play with the old stuff until it gets boring. Likely a year from now. Most people in my area have moved onto other things which is true of the majority of regions I've polled. But hey, I let you be the first to know lady.

I could be wrong, but the most we will see is one as a rammer to hold a ship in place for a double tap like a temporary tractor beam sacrificing 20 some points for a larger victim. It will be gamee, wiz kid stuff turning even more people off to the game and everyone will lap it up until the fad is over. They'll some tired of the silliness of ISD being checked by a flotilla and the other gimpy stuff the flotiia will do. You only have 400 points afterall--a point everyone seems to miss. You all having difficulty squeezing in a fleet at 400 points. There just is no place for this things long term. They will be one offs and FF will sell tons of them because there is nothing else to buy for year(s). If you tempor your excitement over these tiny little SKUs, you'll won't be as dissappointed when they quickly out live their usefulness. You'll all have to use them because you'll be preordained to preordering 3-4 per side since there isn't anything else to buy. Lap it up.

    Rethinking Advanced Projectors

Most people on here believe redundant shields is a very bad card for the points. I agree. There just aren't that many turns.

Flotillas. . . You are welcome!

Exit the stage. Always the preferred method of dealing with those who oppose one's view or aim. The FF moderators have taught you well. Anyway, I am sure I will be shut down by FF flight tomorrow for my critic so goodbye if that is the case. Three strikes you're out for the non-fan boys who have to follow different goal posts. Good night...and good luck.

Flotillas. . . You are welcome!

As the research will show, most are not. That is the point. FF relies too much on fan boy feedback to gauge their success. The causual players are leaving en mass. But hey, don't let that temper your excitement. Play on p,Ayer All you need is one other player and your good...until they drop the line that is. Too be honest, I doubt they would drop the line because that would cause the fan boys to revolt. Instead they will continue to feed you crumbs. Hopefully they will be better than the Wiz kid sort of stuff like flotillas blocking in the future, but you never know with them. Even one or two guys on a design team can keep hitting pay dirt. You never know. One of the points of our article focuses on the responsibility of companies to customers. It is unlikely this is a particular one off situation. What happens when the fan base realizes there are no missing SKUs and a two ship release becomes the norm. Well, we have polling on what people say they will do. Obviously, saying and doing are two seperate things. FF says they don't discriminate, yet they threaten to ban people with 2 warning posts who are critical of them and let certain fan boys make political comments which are supposedly completely off limit. As we see from the recent snapfist's comments, there is a double standard. We have plenty of examples of this repeated behavior across forums. What happens when companies project one sort of path via silence through production history then abuptly change and what they do. How do causual gamers react to uncertainty in the marketplace? Markets hate uncertainty. Unfortunately, the fan boys forgot they need the non-forum, casual Armada players to keep their game going. Oh they'll pretend they'll be happy if FF doesn't produce another Armada SKU, but how many of you believe that. I believe for some that is true. They cite chess, but how many play that anymore? I was a 1750 at one time and haven't played a game in years since the modern board game revolution. I am glad you are excited...at least until that tiny SKU blocks your ISD for the first time and you get double or triple tapped. Sigh. Look you can enjoy the game or exit stage left. No big deal, right? Some of us are kind of excited by this, y'know? So enjoy our celebrating. Take a breath. It's all good. Promise.

Flotillas. . . You are welcome!

They will look cool when you figure out how to stagger 4 on one platform. That would be a flotilla. The side by side U is an asthestic mistake IMHO. If I was still buying into the game, I would at least trick it out in some staggered 4 tiered fashion. Hope to see someone with the vision to do that.

    Rethinking Advanced Projectors

It is nice when using both ECMs and AP on a tricked out MC80 Assualt Crusier where you place it last and away from the ship(s) with X-17s. I like it on MC30s sometimes as well but that is it. I do wish the X-17s costs a bit more, but Ceste la Vie.
