  1. oh ok. The plan were stolen because Vader was old and too slow to get to them. hehehe nice one. man, there is a guy, in his basement, that created something crazy wow. People everywhere are saying how amazing this work is. And it is. And ''you'' don't like it, because it is not how it should be based on what you have in your own head, so you felt that you could express a negative opinion on someone else work. Anyway, this exchange has taken up way too much of our mutual time.
  2. The plan were stolen because of Vader vanity and narcissism, not because of his inability to walk fast and bulldozer everything.
  3. - Use <<glue>> on your obstacles - and the ones of your opponent. Bring the glue and share it. - Use 3 hands to move your ships : ie: always ask your opponent to hold something, always try to avoid as much as possible risking to inadvertently move something. - when you roll dices, POINT the success and call them out loud. Do not touch your dices before your opponent sees them. never. And roll the dice FAR from the ships. - Don't play clock. never, ever, never never ever. Don't be this guy that after 3 rounds, decided to play the clock and go for the Final Salvo... DONT DO THAT.
  4. You realized that this happen like, ten days after Vader breached into the Rebel ship, massacred everyone, and just let the Tantive IV escaped.... Vader is not a old man. This <<alt- scene>> is super cool and is EXACTLY what it should has been. The movie scene is an insult to the Jedi-ability.

My match-up were: 1- Loss vs Poe-Bastian-Lulo-Talli 2- Won vs Guri-Han-Old T 3- Won vs Inferno Crack Tie Swarm 4- Won vs UU Dutch Wedge 5- Won vs Fel, Rhymer, Jonus SAver In cut: Won vs 4 Arc Loss to 4 Xwing (swarm tactic) I found Torrent to be overcosted at the moment. Can't get anything out of them that worth 25pts. I flew for several game only Ani+Obi. Was getting an 30-35% of success. So I was able to win with just 2 Jedis. Adding an ARC, was an excellent thing for me. Cannon power + ARC beef gives me what I needed to ensure the 2 Jedis can do their magic! I tried it with different VTorrent configuration and I was never able to get something good out of it.
  7. Top 4 in a HS in my area with that list. Beat during the swiss both the Event Final winner and the fourth player of the Demi-Finale. Lose because I became too aggressive with a poor Obiwan that went in 1 round from 3hulls + 2 shields, to dead after receiving 7 success attack dices vs all blank green... (hate greenies).. not happy Obi.. On the first Cut round, went VS 4 ARCs. Lost my Anakin during the second engagement (well blocked!). Ended up winning despite the numerous blocks of my opponent. People basing their strategy on blocking their opponent tend to forget one very important thing... They are saving the "blocked" ship from an attack - and I am still getting my mod from the FORCE Jedi Aces are made for patient players.... I love them.   8. Sense could be of interest. I'll look into it. SDevice: well. I feel that it save me 1-2 rounds of damage. Would Shield Upgrade a better choice? Maybe. But with the xtra dice + Brilliant Evasion, these guys are tough to scratch paint off them.

I had never played 2 Aces list. My first game on Vassal, on point after a typical 1:15 hour game, it could have been around 132 to 100 Second game, with a former Regional champion, on time, after a 1:15 hour game, it could have been a win for me. His Vader flew from first engagement round to last round on 1 hull left... Third game: Again the same player. Win 200-0 after not even 30 minutes. This list is crazy fun. And I am getting better and better at how to place obstacles, deploy, bait. I'll keep playing it and it might be my list for the next HS in our area.
  10. on all my games with Obiwan (I'll say approx 12, 8 Vassal + 5 IRL), I used his ability less than 5 times and maybe 1 time on an ally. Tried it yesterday, on Vassal, against an Extended list, 2 Arc(Norra Garven) + Dutch + Leia on Api-5. Did not get the result I wanted, the Torrent remains too fragile to act a a frontal line. Having said that, after 20 rounds his Garven was down, Dutch 2hp, Norra 2hp and AP 1hp. Obiwan was down in his hull, no more regen, but I could have shoot down 1 other ship to win by point. Was a great game. But Obiwan can do magic. I have been practicing the Engaging - Disengaging tactic and it pays well. My strategy is to go back to 2 Arc + Torrent + General Kenobi

  12. I like this topic a lot. v2.0 see the game moving from an average of 2-3 ships list to 4 almost being the minimal. It's not Local-Meta, its a fact. And with factions like the CIS, a player can field 5-6 ships that can all re-position, etc. It takes time. In a casual setting, we don't care. In a more competitive environment, this may become problematic and we can easily see players <<playing the clock>> with list of several ships. Maybe still too early to say if this is really an issue, but for sure, it is something to look after. I will be a TO in a next HS trial. I will definitely pay attention to this situation and inform the players that it is their responsibility to maintain a proper pace while playing the game.
