Hi @SkyJedi - Is there a current issue with the genesysemporium.com and Chrome? It hangs at at loading bar when logging in and doesn't continue further? MS Edge is working fine though.

They recommend that at Hard difficulty. With that said you could always cast transform into something that can fly or summon a Creature that can carry you.
But I would say augment at Hard difficulty would allow flight
Perfect! Missed it as it was under the spell description and not on Pg 215 where I was looking.

How would you do a fly spell in Terrinoth? .ie a spell that would allow a player to fly?

The only think I could suggest, which I use in my games currently, is to post images and maps in Discord. Something like this map. But we totally want to make a map feature in there eventually. I think we have NPC integration, and GM notes next in line.
Any level of Patreon support can get access to the Game Table!Great! I have just supported the Patreon, linked my accounts and now I can see the Game Table. I will have a play and test 🙂

Also, I would love to help test the Game Table. What levels of Patreon get access to the Game Table?

I do love this. I am currently assessing whether I use RPG Sessions or Roll20 to continue my AoR campaign in these crazy times.
The plus for me for Roll20 is the map and player token integration, also being able to share images, journals etc. @Joress any suggestions on being able to something similar alongside RPG Sessions, or part of?

FFS! Let it go you muppets!
Can we please just talk about the game and what we love about Star Wars?!? Stop with this vitriol! It has been going for years and it is tiresome, and honestly not healthy for you. There are countless threads about Kennedy etc. Let's not make this another one.
Be that strong person and hold back on any further comments. Don't feel you need to rebut on any comments already said. Bring the thread back on topic.

The very first game of my AoR campaign started with them all being captured Rebels working in a mine.
During the mining they broke through to a "natural" tunnel, which was actually made by a giant worm type creature, very recently...The creature emerged from the tunnel and attacked! The Stromtrooper guards fired at the worm, who then turn its attention to the aggressors. The PCs decided to attack the troopers with their mining tools, picking up the blasters from the dropped troopers, and then attacking the worm themselves. They then escaped through the worm's tunnel which lead to...
Stay tuned for the next thrilling adventure! 😉

Without giving too much away, this is actually happening "off screen" during one of the major movie battles. The mass combat rolls won't be needed as we know that outcome. This is more about getting the PCs involved in the battle without affecting the movie plot too much.
The Squadron rules sounds a goer!

I am looking at running a large space battle in my AoR campaign and am wondering if i should use the Squad(Squadron) rules or Mass Combat. I am leaning towards squadron as it involves the PCs more.
Here is how the sides will line up...
Rebel PCs:
- Custom Corvette (much like a CR90, but a little better)
- YT-2400
- B-Wing
Rebel NPCs:
- Nebulon B Frigate
- 18 x X-Wings
- 6 x Y-Wings
Imperials:
- Interdictor-class Star Destroyer
- 24 x TIE fighters
- Gladiator Class Corvette
- 24 x TIE fighters
Firstly, does this look like a good match up? There are a stack more TIEs, but they will all be minions so not as tough as the Rebels.
Secondly, would the Squadron rules work well here? I haven't used them before, but have done mass combat when I ran Friends Like These. It seems less personal for the PCs, which is why i am leaning on having them control Squadrons.

It looks like S&S shipping to Australia is delayed and I won't get it in time for this weekend's game.
Does anyone feel like sharing the stats for the Bongo sub?

There may well be something along Huey in SW legends, but if you look a canon then I don't think you will find much. Look at the scenes for Yavin IV and Hoth. If there are any such transports then they will be seen there.
The U-Wing would be the closest thing?

This, and I also keep in mind that Star Wars is Science Fantasy Fiction and I don't let physics get in the way of a good story.
I will stick with my initial thoughts below:

I take it there are no aquatic vessels, esp of the submarine variety? Working on my game set for the 7th of March and my book arrives 6th March...

The most excellent @GM Hooly has pointed out to me that there is the Amphibious Modification from Special Modifications. This states:
"Most starships speeders, and other vehicles not specifically designed for it are unfit for usage underwater Starships are typically not hydrodynamic. and hulls designed for zero gravity and atmospheric use can suffer damage from deep-sea pressure. However. with the addition of turbines. modifications to the engines. and reinforcement of the structure. almost any vehicle can be made seaworthy. This attachment can be applied to any vehicle or starship that can enter an atmosphere."
So the question remains, are there any rules stating what happens when you do take an unmodified ship underwater?
Perhaps added to the above all maneuvers are upgraded once? That gives a chance to add damage and strain from the pressure.
-
I am doing a necro on this thread as there doesn't seem to be a lot of info on underwater adventures. Do any books spell it out, other than:
On 1/30/2014 at 2:48 AM, Joker Two said:"The Deepwater Docks" sidebar, Suns of Fortune p.33:
"An enterprising smuggler must rig his ship to withstand the crushing ocean depths and install underwater propulsion devices on the outer hull."
Here is something I put together, based in parts from some info Christopher Hunt has here
Starships underwater without appropriate modifications:
-
Handling drops -2

Speed drops -2 (min 1)
-
Weapon Range reduced by 1. Add Inaccurate 2
-
Max Defense drops -1 . This represents the shields bolstering the ships hull to withstand the pressures of being underwater
I don't want to make it impossible for an unmodified ship to go underwater, as it will be an integral part of my next game, and the player may not have time or resources to find an underwater vessel.

So why put Naboo and a Modular Encounter in there? The encounter is specially a Gungan scenario

I own the F&D CRB, and that is it. Not everyone owns every book.
Thanks for the confirmation. I will track down NoP.

Am I right in saying that the only place Gungans appear is Nexus of Power?
I am surprise they aren't in Rise of the Separatists given the battle of Naboo and all. It would have been good to see some NPCs there.
PS - please refrain from any anti-Gungan rhetoric. It has all been said already, and doesn't need repeating

This is assumptive at best. Unless you have source showing that they are using freelancers. The last Forge podcast had Sam Gregor-Stewart and Keith Kappel in it and they were talking like there are no freelancers working on any products. If they aren't involved then I dare say no one is.

Which small Imperial cruiser?
in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG
Posted · Edited by Andreievitch
What would be the smallest Imperial cruiser that could carry an Imperial Drop Ship (as seen in The Mandalorian) or a TIE Reaper, and also some TIEs (min 2 or so)?
Could an Arquitens-class carry a Reaper and some TIEs? Even if it is only 2?
