On a somewhat of a tangent I love 5e, its my favorite system to run, I've gotten all of the non-setting books (except this last one).

Following a brief panic, I’ve come to the strange realization that... I’m kinda done with Star Wars- for now at least. I still think it’s unconscionable that this resource is going to just disappear, but I don’t really need it anymore.
In 1977, I was a five year old boy, and the original Star Wars trilogy played a huge role in my childhood. In 2015, I had a five year old son of my own, to experience The Force Awakens with, and revisit the other offerings of the franchise. I picked up an FFG beginner set, and started role playing with him, while he played with his action figures. This forum helped me tremendously in learning the system.
Most recently, my son has taken an interest in Dungeons & Dragons, a game I haven’t played since 2nd edition. I tried to turn him to Genesys, because I love the narrative dice, but he is too interested in the lore. He is ten now, and I have never seen him so interested in reading, as he is with these game books. Familiarizing myself with the phb and dmg, 5e surprisingly seems pretty decent.
The truth is, TLJ and RoS kind of flopped with us. Watchable, certainly, but we have not watched and rewatched them the way we have the other movies. The Disney Plus shows are something to look forward to, but I think we’re finished with childhood movies and action figures.
I suppose it will be hex grids and miniatures for us, for the foreseeable future, so it looks like I will be revisiting another franchise from my youth. I have a new set of rules to learn, so my gaming time will be better spent elsewhere.
As for these PBPs I’m running here, I do not want to just abruptly quit, but the end is in sight. We will be building to a climax in these next five weeks, and drawing to a conclusion, which should coincide (more or less) with the last days of this forum. I understand that knowing the game is ending might effect engagement, but I hope you will all stick with it to the end.

Yes. That about sums it up.

So looking through it, it looks like we found some rebels with a giant crab thing, helped them with it, after it did some damage, then the Death Trooper commander blew up all the rebels before leaving. Does that sum it up, or did I miss something?

Go ahead and recover 2 Strain.
You can also pass a Boost to Hawk, if he wants to make the check.  With his field experience in Medicine, that skill could be used. @Barbaross41

Nope, no idea. Not really sure what the advantage could be used for in this case either.

Den had not screamed since his first year of the stormtrooper academy, so he probably would have been dismayed with the ear piercing shriek he emits when the creature lends on his helmet. Flailing wildly with his fists he tries to bash the creature to death. "No no no! Absolutely not!" he roars, shuddering as he looks up at the horrible little beast reaches the ceiling. 
At the shout from the doctor Den turns to shout at them, still in the shrill tone he seems to have developed. "Stop it? Stop it? Oh what a wonderful idea! I can see how you earnt your doctorate, here I was thinking we could keep it as a pet!" He's still shouting obscenities at the doctor when the grenade goes off, but it is enough to make him focus on the creature. 
As he feels the burning coursing down from his neck he slaps a hand to the point before pulling it away to see if there was any blood. "Oh, and now I seem to be getting eaten from the inside, wonderful!" The trooper is practically trembling with adrenaline and fury and fear. 
Raising his rifle, Den snaps at Evon "don't touch me! Nothing touches me again after that!" Shoving his way past the other troopers Den fires three shots from the disruptor, his aim still true. "Stupid flesh eating, acid spitting crab spider!"

So where is Briar relative to everything, and what can she see? I would assume that she would be towards the back of the group?

Den stiffens up again as he hears the inquisitor loom behind him. You'd think by now he'd have learnt to check behind him for superiors when he talked, certainly after last time. He turns to face the inquisitor, clutching the weapon to his chest as he listens. "Erm, good to know, sir, inquisitor, sir". As he strides ahead, Den remembers to breath and falls in behind as the breach is made. Den half raises his rifle as he steps behind their leader, ready to shoot anything that moved, or didn't.

As Ral and Den talk the Inquisitor speaks up from behind them. “I know the illegality of that weapon. But I don’t mind it’s use.” He sais looming over the Stormtrooper. “I’m not some Prim and proper imperial officer, Sometimes Excessive force is necessary especially against Jedi. Stormtrooper, you will carry this heavy weapon as the gunner already carries the Rotary cannon.” He says gesturing to the Sargent.
Drogos then made his way to the ladder seeing that the Agent had collected what she could to continue their advance down into the rebel Base. Looking down the lift Shaft the Inquisitor noticed a shoddily put together floor  it seems the Rebels had lost their tools, or had done a rushed job on the rest of the base.
 
Cutting through took mere moments, once finished Drogos stepped through.

Den takes back the rifle, slapping a hand onto the pilots shoulder with a firm grip. "True, true" he says in a low voice. "But what you have to remember is, what good is that giant gun when it's all the way up there, and mine is right here?" Den lets that hang in the air for a moment before bursting into a rueful chuckle. Slapping Ral on the shoulder Den moves ahead, shouldering the weapon as he prepares for whatever they found.

"Huh? Oh...yeah.. I guess. 'Sides, you're probably more qualified using it if need be," Ral stammers. It's not quite clear if he knows exactly what he is handing over. If the Inquisitor asks, he can just explain the he gave it to the more experienced marksman. He unslings the weapon and as he hands it over, he says "Just so you know mine on the Phantom is bigger."

Seeing the inquisitor pick up the disruptor, Den suddenly goes very still. He'd been using the weapon during the battle, but it's easy to keep it under the radar in the heat of combat. Still, the weapons were illegal, and he didn't know enough about the inquisitor to tell if he would take issue with its use. Violent issue. 
Den sidles beside Ral, a half step behind and speaks in a low voice. "I don't know who owns that gun, but do you want me to hold onto it for you? You know, keep it safe so you don't have to carry it". Den was good at shooting, he was not good at subtly propositioning an imperial officer for illegal weaponry. 

"No problem.  Thanks, Doc." Ral licks his lips as he feels the sensation of the concoction coursing through him. "Meilooruns? When did I eat meilooruns?"

Okay! A lot of the systems running are medical in nature, and appear to be tapping a lot of energy and resources from the clinic proper, in the resort above, and siphoning them down below. Farther below than just a couple levels, too, as Briar might already suspect from previously gathered intelligence. You may “bank” the Triumph if you wish.
Just to keep  @Shlambate happy, the 3 Threat cause a migraine. Take 1 Strain and add 1 Setback to Briar’s next check.

Yes, go ahead and apply your talents (really, just go ahead and use them unless I specify not to).

Upon receiving the inquisitor's communication Briar, checks with the Stormtroopers to make sure before replying "The 2nd floor is secure inquisitor, I'm on my way." She finishes as she checks to make certain that everything is secure in the computer system, before heading back to the elevator, and down to the 3rd floor.

So does that take 3 of the advantage or all of it?
