I'm not calling the OP a troll... Rather that his post came off a bit egotistical. The way I read it is 'With zero experience actually playing the game I've decided this faction is unbalanced.' Which is something I find hard to believe most anyone could actually manage. Are we reading the same post? "I haven't played the game yet, but this is what I see. These are my assumptions. Is any of this correct?" A troll would say something like, "I really want to get into this game, but it seems so heavily tilted in Rebel favor. I mean, just look at all the tournaments being won by Rebels...." its a really clever troll. but i know its a troll, from having done many trolls in my day.

I don't think there's a single person here who thinks the X-Wing needs a major fix. What it needs to be point for point as good if not a bit better than the B-Wing. Lore however is the worse possible way to balance something, and the mear fact that you think it is speaks volumes about how poorly you understand what balance is or how it works. So, again, you're saying the X-Wing needs to be better than the B-Wing... Yet then proceed to lecture me about balancing. Hey, I'll be the first to admit I'm no "MathWinger." But, once again, it seems you are trying to ignore the 'game balance vs. lore balance' issue (which is something FFG obviously must struggle with) by having your precious X-Wings be much more desirable to play than the B-Wings. Sorry to nitpick. b wing gets a whole new niche with chimps. its more maneuverable than an x wing by a lot, and now its gonna have double super torps on top of a barrel roll, systems, and all its other options. you even get pseudo turret torps with nera whose suddenly looking good. the x wing flies at the enemy and shoots. thats all it does. so it should be better than the b wing at flying at the enemy and shooting, especially given the fact that they cost pretty much the same amount of points.

There is no such thing as a T-65 in this game. There are X-Wings and X-Wing T-70 "x wing only. may not be equipped by a t-70 x wing."

Giving the Xwing a 1 hard and 4 attack? rephrase it as take a stress or make it only happen the turn they flip the card so it doesnt work two turns in a row or something, or make it cost points and take an ept slot and sure.

HWK is more likely. Far less presence, and gives better support options to keep it more even with Imp Vets getting the shuttle. hwk will be in scum. because scum actually use hwks sometimes (scumtimes.) rebels forgot they had them hwk/viper or scyk with the other one being with an epic ship

if you go by that the b wing should also cost 50% more than an x wing to field. like they did to make/buy.

Maybe make closing an option when you reveal maneuver to increase the speed of the maneuver by 1, gain an evade token, and reduce your weapons value by 1 for the turn? And then opening could be the reverse, slow down, gain +1 weapons value, treat the maneuver as red. make it t65 only or risk buffing super poe thoe

heroclix is in a constant flux based on how good the sets are in terms of rules and production values. it flips between "dead gaem sky falling" and "golden age thank you based wk" about once a year or so. (for reference the last golden age i played during ran from july 2013 to august 2014. i havent played since early 2015 because the venue kept pushing sealed of bad sets and i wasnt gonna buy that.) also how about those x wangs on this, the x wang board.

im a big fan of running imperial aces but i agree that right now stresshog kind of has to exist. its a non-PWT answer to "this guy moves after you and can reposition pretty much wherever he wants." which makes it better than a lot of the alternatives that i think bringing the bat out would force people to play more. goombastomper58 would have an aneurysm with all the super dash etc

Yes. It always struck me as something said by people who are behind the times and are uncomfortable with straight white dudes not running every single show. I get it when the story or game goes out of its way to have the white dudes be utterly humiliated by whoever else, but it's not "fulfilling a quota" to cast John Boyega as Finn or make Rey a woman. I was upset that they didn't make her look like someone who has lived a hard life out in the middle of a blasted wasteland of a desert planet for the last 13+ years...Oh whats that, stylishly mussed hair, smooth skin, some makeup? The Tie Fighter is point for point, the best ship in the game per MJ. Yes it's less forgiving than an X-Wing, but not by much and it's less than half the cost. It's also not like the shields on a X-Wing, Y-Wing or B-Wing will keep those ships in the game for long if they're being focused on. Actually I think he has the Z rated higher now. the TIE/D blows everything out of the water edit x7
